All in all a great experience. The owner was sitting at the front of the counter and waved us in. The staff was very welcoming. We were looking for a small dessert after a big dinner. This places serves small yet satisfying portions. We got their signature che and a portion of flan for takeaway. To our surprise the che was not as sweet as we were used to. That made the experience fresher and lighter. The flan although seemingly small packed a punch. Sitting in a syrup you got that thick flan that stays perfectly consistent on your spoon. A nice dessert experience before bedtime.

They serve the food real quick and the food tastes great while the price is not expensive. The variety of drinks is quite limited but we managed to try something. A lot of motorbikes parking/blocking the entrance of the restaurant but we managed to squeezed in though 😋

Still as yummy as many years ago. When I was a kid, it was a big gift to be able to eat there. A poor kid like me always loved to get the chance. The price is varied. Some dishes are cheap, some are expensive. Normally it's crowded there.

Had the dessert (Sam Bo Luong) as recommended by the local guide. There are barley, Chinese date, water cheat nut, lotus root, seaweed, and lotus seed in it. It tastes good and is refreshing.

While the food was good if not great, I gotta give credit where it's due. The service was probably the best in all of Vietnam spearheaded by a young lady and a young man. The young lady was helpful in explaining the menu and was quick to respond to my request for more chili's. The young man, who was very attentive saw that I finished the extra chili and brought me another side of it. Never ever have I experienced this kind of proactive and attentive service in Vietnam. Will be going back!!!

This place is quite small, with about 18 seats. Their signature dish is glutenous rice with various toppings. They also have desserts, but I wasn't into these. It's quite popular, lots of take-out customers.

This place used to have really good sticky rice. However, I think the quality has decreased. The xôi for xôi trộn is too wet. The xôi thập cẩm is better but still isn't as good as before imo. The flan would be better if the caramel/coffee sauce has more flavor; it is pretty bland. The dừa dầm is okay.
