The Negroni was good, but it was surprising that there was no wine list, especially for such a nice place. We had to ask or were told they had run out of certain or most wines. The setting was cool, with house music playing in the background.
The menu featured traditional dishes like causas, ceviches, cochinillo, lamb, txuleton de novillo, navajas, cabrito, and tortellinis, pastas, but they tried to make the dishes overly complex. About 3 dishes like cuy or navajas they didn’t have.
A more relaxed approach would have improved the experience. The waiter talked and explained too much, which became distracting.
The char fish was dry, and the cochinillo was just okay—not exceptional. The addition of popcorn was unnecessary. The standout dishes were the alpaca tartare and the lonche ravioli were ok. Overall, I wouldn’t return.
