Excellent taste and presentation. Friendly English speaking staff accommodating my needs to change shrimp to fish. The excellent dessert on house was also a highlight. Enjoyed every bite and such a wonderful experience. All the tables around seem to be impressed by the presentation and tastes.

Don’t miss XOMA when you visit Lima. The service is friendly and impeccable. The ambiance is chic yet unpretentious. And the food… well the food is even better than the pictures look. They were kind enough to put a tasting menu of sorts together for me even though I hadn’t requested it in advance. There’s nothing like the feeling you get from spectacular service. Well done team!

I loved the atmosphere. The menu was complicated for me to understand and figure out. I couldn't understand if there was an appetizer and entree section. I also didn't know how much to order. They were nice enough to do a tasting menu. The tastings, though, mostly missed the mark. They were trying so hard, but the taste and elements just weren't there. The lamb and cheesecake were good, however.

From appearances, Xoma is a very nice restaurant, however it is very lacking for a fine dining restaurant. There are a lot of gimmicks that come along with certain dishes. I don’t want to spoil them since some people may consider them fun, but the food itself does not stand up on its own. The service was very slow but friendly. The San Pellegrino competition fish dish was overcooked. The chocolate dessert is served on what appears to be a drawer liner.

The Negroni was good, but it was surprising that there was no wine list, especially for such a nice place. We had to ask or were told they had run out of certain or most wines. The setting was cool, with house music playing in the background. The menu featured traditional dishes like causas, ceviches, cochinillo, lamb, txuleton de novillo, navajas, cabrito, and tortellinis, pastas, but they tried to make the dishes overly complex. About 3 dishes like cuy or navajas they didn’t have. A more relaxed approach would have improved the experience. The waiter talked and explained too much, which became distracting. The char fish was dry, and the cochinillo was just okay—not exceptional. The addition of popcorn was unnecessary. The standout dishes were the alpaca tartare and the lonche ravioli were ok. Overall, I wouldn’t return.

Best restaurant we visited, I would definitely recommend. The presentation of the dishes, as well as the taste was extraordinary! Hidden gem in Lima!

Amazing food!! Wish it was a bit livelier on a Thursday night in July, but the food was incredible. Vibe was just right too, though again would have preferred Friday or Saturday with more people. We were leaving on Friday though so it was our only chance to try it. Service was great as well - the staff was very professional and attentive.

Romario and the team at Xoma provided outstanding service. The food, atmosphere, and quality of service was exceptional. Every part of the experience was perfect, and they gave my wife and I a small dessert for our anniversary. Highly recommend for an outstanding gastronomic experience.
