It's another typical breakfast of coffee with cracker. Ordered crackers with kaya and peanut butter spread. Typically at any other YK, I get generous filling. At PS YK, it was so thin that I pry it up to check if they remember to spread anything in between. On first look, I thought they missed out kaya..but it's actually a very very thin layer. Must have been a new staff or untrained. Keeping 2 stars as the coffee (kopi C Kosong) is good.

Had breakfast here this morning — French Toast with Kaya jam at the side and Kopi C. The coffee is superb, aromatic and thick Nanyang style but mixed with evaporated milk. I love it. The French Thick Toast is coated with a generous amount of beaten eggs and nicely toasted till golden brown. Its so yummy eaten on its own or slightly dipped in the kaya jam provided at the side. A comfortable place for breakfast — nice food & coffee and its not too crowded. Strongly recommended for breakfast. Revisited here on 24 May 2024. Have not returned until this morning for breakfast. The food and drinks are still good but the price has gone up from $4.60 to $5.40 for peanut toast and kopi C kosong. Killiney at B2 seems to offer better value for money. Revisited on 17 June 24. Had butter sugar toast and coffee. Butter is overloaded. Should have used less butter, less wastage. Revisited on 20 Jan 25. Had Rendang chicken Toastwich. Wow… its not chicken cubes, it’s a whole chunk of chicken meat. Delicious! Will definitely return for this. Revisited on 28 March 2025. Had French Toast with cheese. Its was not toasted too lightly at first. I informed the service staff and she gladly improved my toast for me. Its was well done after she redid the toasting. I enjoyed my breakfast today.

I feel the management need to take action against customers that are hogging the tables during peak hours. Apart from locals who are working nearby, there are also foreigners that enjoy dinning here. In this photo, starting from the left, you will see, 1 man with laptop occupying 4 seats. Followed in the middle, 2 men with laptop occupying 6 seats. Lastly on the right, a couple occupying 6 seats. I hope the management can help to deter these irresponsible actions for your own benefit to allow more customers for yourself.

We got a recommendation from a taxi driver to visit this place for kaya toast. Although it was a good experience, we could tell It wasn’t the best one. We loved their kayo toast, but since it is a popular franchise, the quality and atmosphere differs slightly depending on which branch you visit. We would recommend you visit ones that are outside of the mall for a better experience.

We really enjoyed the tea and the local toast — it was a lovely experience overall. As tourists, we weren’t aware of the return policy for the cups and tray. While we were leaving, one of the PRC staff shouted something in Chinese, which startled us. I asked another staff member what the issue was, and she explained that we needed to return our cups, which we did right away out of respect for the rules. We completely understand the policy, and we’re happy to follow it — but it’s all about how the message is delivered. A polite reminder would have been more than enough. The tone used made us feel like we had done something seriously wrong, when in reality, it was just 2 cups and a tray.

I ordered kaya toast set and pandan cake. Kaya set is okay but not pandan cake, the pandan cake is very dry. Not recommend!
