Holiday HEAVEN! It doesn't get much more relaxing than this! The most unusual and wonderful accommodation set in secluded and private surroundings with access to the most beautiful, clean, quiet beach in Goa. Bed was so comfy and we loved the private hammock/dining area by our cocohut. Fantastic service from staff, and really good food - breakfast and dinner were incredible. I will definitely return.

Our stay at Yab Yum was just okay - which is a shame, considering the love and attention to detail clearly put into the huts and the property. The huts, the beach and the breakfast were all fine - it just seemed that the staff was rather cold and seemed uncaring bordering on rude. Especially the ladies at the reception were not really helpful at all. We wanted some advice and help in planning local trips and instead of helping us, we got sent to a shady local travel agent down the road who spoke close to no english. The scooter rental is done on an informal basis through security - also not a very professional or corteous experience. The beach and breakfast were nice, we especially enjoyed the breakfast at our hut which was brought to us every morning - although often much later than the time frame that was mentioned. Overall, we felt that the level of kindness and hospitality from the staff wasn‘t up to the comparatively high price tag. We‘ve stayed at cheaper beach huts in Goa with much more kind and caring staff.

I didn't know what to expect when I booked this accommodation without doing much research but we were so pleased with our stay at Yab Yum. What a wonderful and relaxing get away and perfect if you're into a place that is in a good location but won't be overrun by western winter "escapees".  It's nicely peaceful but a short walk to shops and more "touristy" areas are within 10-15 mins by car. The highlight of course is being situated right on the gorgeous Ashwem beach. It's clean and relatively secluded and you could walk the stretch of beach for miles. And I absolutely LOVED the coconut huts! A relaxed, easy holiday is what we were after and what we got. Foodwise, all the meals were tasty and well prepared and the service was also good. On the recreation side of things - if you're into Yoga but not fanatical, the classes are just the right level and size. Seriously considering this as an annual trip - my boyfriend and I loved it!

My first trip to Yab Yum Resort in February 2013 was also my first trip to India. The quality beach huts are one of a kind and I enjoyed having breakfast delivered right to our door each morning. Great access to the best part of the beach. I also tried out one of the morning yoga classes, as well as booked in a massage by the awesome Julie on my last day there. Wonderful place to unwind :-)

The best property to stay in North Goa. I stayed for two days, that too during the cyclone Kyarr and here is what I observed: -Nicest stuff at hotel FO. Not only friendly, they went out of their way to ensure I am safe and sound. -Beautiful lush green property, one with nature -the stray domes are the finest. Eco friendly stay. paper straw comes with fruit juice. Breakfast is complimentary and served basis on what you want, ensuring zero to little wastage. -also has traditonal cottages with AC and other amenities but Domes win in my mind -they are sturdy. They endured the cyclone with little to minimal damage while the neighboring resorts succumbed to nature's fury. -By the side of Ashwem beach -very less tourist crowd. More like a private beach -stunning sunset scene over the beach -Slept with the sound of Sea waves and woke up to hear them -calm and comfortable -local women are employed to run daily operations

Bad bad bad Recently there, staff is great, but quite expensive for the service they deliver, don’t expect shampoo, cream, hair conditioner. Water is only delivered the first day, you have to ask to fill the bottles with filtered water and delivered to the room or buy them, the beach chairs are not attended permanently there is a permanent beach towels shortage, breakfast is brough to your room and you have a personal table around the plants next to your hut « nice idea », in general the owner should pump up the services for the price they are asking.

One of the best hotels in Goa. Peaceful, secluded, funky beach huts that are big, clean and comfortable. The waves will put you to sleep at night and the staff will bring breakfast to your doorstep the next morning. Absolutely recommended.

Don’t go there ! The place is nice but the staff is terrible, it’s really not worth this expensive price ! We had an accommodation with no water pressure, so I asked for another one, the receptionist lady told me it was full (but if you were trying to book one, it was available). I asked again the next morning, and suddenly they found us another room, even though they said before it couldn’t be done. They’re really not helping and friendly. Plus you’ll have to fight for your room all the time with frogs and cockroachs.. and the breakfast is only so-so.
