I spent 12 days on the Anahi and every single day continued to surprise me and exceed any and all expectations.
The boat itself is gorgeous and so comfortable! It’s so much better than day trip boats where you have 12 people packed in, everyone trying to get the best view. You have so many options for views and comfort levels (shade, sun, breeze, AC, hot tub, comfy couches, tables, etc! The rooms are perfect and way bigger than I expected (especially the shower)! Also, with this type of trip, you really feel like you’re with family and the boat feels like a big house that you’re all sharing! You can have chats in the living room, game nights in the dining room, or just hanging out wherever you choose! But there’s also always multiple places to go if you want some quiet, alone time!
The team is above and beyond in everything that they do! Multiple unexpected things came up for guests during my trip and the team ALWAYS was able to immediately help accommodate anything that happened and they did it in such a wonderful way that you really knew they cared about you. (HUGE shout outs to Enrique (guide), Tony (captain), William (zodiac operator), Quique (zodiac operator), Omar (zodiac operator), Roberto (bar tender), and EVERYONE else on board!!! I can’t thank you all enough for such an incredible experience!!!)
The way you get to experience the Galapagos on this kind of trip is SO special! You often do 2 hikes and 2 snorkels a day, so you don’t miss anything! And they take you to places that aren’t reachable without this type of trip! Every day I thought was the highlight of the trip, and then the next day, I’d think the same thing! The only bad day was the day I had to get off the boat!
The food is also INCREDIBLE! Authentic and delicious Ecuadorian food! I was with families with young kids, adults with different dietary restrictions, etc, and we all kept saying how impressed we were with every meal!!
Seriously the most amazing trip and I can NOT wait to come back again!
