"Yad Lezicaron" Synagogue

Great historical place to visit and discover

Saloniki boasted one of the largest & oldest Jewish communities in Europe. cruelly decimated during WWII. This refurbished edifice pays homage. The huge granite plaques on the walls are older synagogue pedesessors through the ages.

Spent the last days of succot there last year and was made very welcome in the shul by the dynamic rav. Also the kiddushim were amazing ! Would love to return one day

BSD I'm a Modiano my Gran mother was born there in 1894 was a very special experience

A lot of information and lots personal attention from the team

The security very rude, the administration is not any better.
