The best locally owned establishments in Perth - SilverKris
"A large, pedestrian-friendly precinct that reconnects the two sides of Perth’s city centre once divided by the urban train network; built on land formerly used as an Aboriginal meeting place, its design weaves Indigenous heritage throughout the public zones, highlighted by Wirin, a 9m-tall sculpture of an Indigenous man overlooking wildflower gardens, and a covered Market Hall buzzing with locally owned eateries where you can pick up treats such as handmade truffles from Sue Lewis Chocolatier." - Fleur Bainger
Vibrant and inviting. A hive of activity with a feel good buzz, the vibe can get electric. Awesome restaurants, bars and entertainment.
Have a photo with Uncle while you're there too, can't miss him standing tall and proud watching over everyone

Great place. Was here for the Perth Easter Gathering and it accommodated all the people. The amphitheatre allowed the music and worship to really permeate the atmosphere.

The most vibrant place of CBD. People take a pause while rushing for life. Perth station is just a nearby place. Perth busport just beside. This is the heart of all communications.

We stumbled upon this spot by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The area features a modern building design filled with a variety of restaurants and bars. We decided to stop for a beer and really enjoyed the vibe. It’s definitely worth visiting for a stroll and some great photo opportunities!

Yagan Square has become a lovely place to visit and walk through. Security and Leason Officer are doing a wonderful job during the day and events, this year. My son works there and I am very proud of him.
He loves his work and does it with professionalism.
He also treats every person with respect and understanding.
I believe he is a wonderful man and should be recognised for all the valuable work that he does for EON in Yagan Square.

It’s was Christmas in Perth! Rio Tinto sponsored a beautiful Perth Christmas Lights Trail. It was beautiful and an excellent way to draw the crowd to the city even in a Sunday.

I checked out the Illuminate yagan square event late last month, some live performances were impressive like the acrobat performances and the magician. The maze although small was a short burst of fun. If you have kids they would have a good time here, most of the entertainment was most suitable for kids.

This place basically reminds me of Fed Square in Melbourne. Basically I believe it used to be a bunch of railyards, but has now been covered over and turned into a pedestrian area, and a bus port (not that I have actually used the bus port). This place was actually pretty good, and it certainly makes it a lot easier to cross over to Northbridge now (though the crossing really wasn't all that difficult). It does provide more entertainment though.
