We ate here twice while staying in Sayulita. The first time, the fried eggs and the bacon were overcooked. The service and atmosphere was grand. The second time, I had the Breakfast Bowl, and it was fabulous. The staff is really friendly and welcoming.

Update: we came back today and knowing their policies, I informed the waitress we planned to stay for 3 hours and in that time period we would order a total of four drinks and two breakfasts. I asked her if that would be okay because they are so strict about co-working. She said yes that's fine and so we proceeded to order three drinks. There was two of us total. After 1 hour the owner came over and told us we had to leave because we hadn't ordered enough. I explained to him that his staff member had okayed the situation and I explained to him that we were going to have a substantial order. At the time he told us to leave there were three open tables. My original review: One of the few coffee shops in town that offer both AC and good Wi-Fi along with ergonomical seating. They also have an excellent selection of specialty coffees including chemex and some things we have never even tried before. So we absolutely loved this place. They are very strict about making sure you order something every hour, Maybe a little too forceful but I understand the reasoning. It's a small place and sometimes digital nomads can be rude and inconsiderate. If you're going to visit a coffee shop like this be sure to continue ordering on a regular basis just like if you were paying for a co-working space. It costs a lot of money to provide gourmet coffee in a wonderful environment so the rules make sense. We will be back.

Google
Nice spot for food and coffee. We ordered the Buenos Días bagel—egg, bacon, cheese. The service was super friendly, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Great for a casual breakfast or brunch stop.

Google
Excellent breakfast and coffee. Gluten free and dairy free options. The green smoothie is excellent and so is the breakfast bowl. Highly recommend if you’re in Sayulita.

Google
Quaint breakfast/brunch/lunch place. Nice patio, and the service was good. The food in regard to quality, presentation, and taste was some of the best I had in Sayulita. Coffee was also of superb quality. Especially recommend the breakfast sandwich “De La Casa”.

Google
Busy breakfast place where the tourists flocks. Have outdoor and indoor seating, so finding a seat should not be hard. Had both cold brew and hot brew coffee here, both of which where good. Do have oat milk for your latte. Stable and fast wifi. Service is fast, even when crowded. Accepts credit card.

Google
This little cafe was a perfect breakfast option for our week spent in Sayulita. They have awesome bagels, and plenty of vegan options. I got the vegan wrap, and an almond milk iced latte, and was very happy with it! Really cute inside seating with books available to read too.

Google
I was rudely asked to leave after spending about $40 in 90 minutes and planning to order more. It's low season, and there were open tables. It is a very unfriendly place. Food has hair when it is served.

Yelp
Reasonably priced brunch spot. All the dishes were presented beautifully. The menu is extensive and you can ask for adjustments as well. I just wish they had sourdough bread. Food: 5/5 - some very unique options Presentation: 5/5 - very aesthetic Service: 5/5 Can also order to-go. The only thing they ask is that you do not remote work on your laptop all day here. It gets busy and they need the tables.

Yelp
Came here every morning of my trip to get the coffee. The iced coffee had the thickest cap of foam I have ever had. The sweet foam balanced oit the strong coffee. I also had the oats which were great. Full of strawberries and a nice light start to the day. They had plenty of baked goods in the case but we passed. Service was the only downfall as some of the staff weren't the most welcoming and it seemed they'd get frustrated when the line got too long. It's a small space, so I can understand it's not the best environment to maneuver around but it didn't make people feel welcome. The coffee was good enough to still drop in daily though.

Yelp
Incredible little coffee bar ! Super nice staff, the food is great and fresh , and they have an assortment of smoothies. Pretty much the go-to coffee cafe and breakfast location for me and my wife. Ended up visiting twice in the first day. Internet here but this isn't an Internet cafe- come to eat here! THANK YOU

Yelp
Great place to grab a coffee in Sayulita. Staff is kind and service was quick. The flowers on the cup were an adorable touch. Will definitely return. Only thing to note is that there is minimal seating. Great place for to go!

Yelp
Good breakfast to start your day with. Breakfast bowls are fresh and delicious. Avocado toast done well. Great espresso bar

Elisa H.

Yelp
Wow! This place is AMAZING! The food, the service and everything about it is so adorable down to the fresh flower they attach to your coffee cup!! Fist time in Sayulita and first time at Yah-Yah and I returned 4 times!!! Can't wait to go back! Keep on doing what you're doing!

Yelp
Located on the quiet street of Nino Heroes just a block south of the square, this place is a bit of hipster chic in the heart of Sayulita. The service was great. Pull up, break out your phone to access their menu on the wifi. Responsive server and turn around time. Food is simple and stunning. On par with SF and LA. I would not call it "mexican" food other than they give you a trio of salsas. Prices good and they take plastic.
google avatar

Yelp
The menu is larger than you would expect. Lots of options and all of them were great. I had to moka-brownie and my wife had the cold brew latte. She had the berries and waffle and I had the t-Rex. They were basic but good. We would come back here. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. It's an indoor and outdoor cafe that has a second floor to relax and listen to the relaxing and uplifting music in the background. Wish we would have came here the first couple days and not on our last day.

Yelp
I was in love with Yah yah. From my understanding I think it might have been a chain. We happen to be very close to this particular location. Yah yah went above and beyond my expectations. Their drink options are really wonderful and unique. With smoothies like the sunshine and freshly brewed cold brew, who could complain? I landed on the mushroom egg white with avocado on sour dough. It sounded like a simple toast but it was amazing, over the top flavorful and topped with fresh sprouts which in my opinion makes everything good. I really loved the savory mushrooms balance our the fresh avocado. All the smoothies we ordered were amazing, super fresh and yummy!

Yelp
Closed to our hotel for some coffee in the morning. My husband loved his espresso shots and my chai latte with non dairy milk was good. We didn't see a big food selection, but I think it was their other location. Cash only but they don't have change for a large bill. So use small bills if you can get change somewhere.

Yelp
#1 Breakfast place in Sayulita. Great coffee, awesome food, and super kind staff. My 10 year old approves!! Ambiance is cozy, calming and cool. Yah-Yah!!!

Irene O.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast....best bacon I've ever had(it was turkey bacon, so damn good) I also had a power smoothie with oatmeal (first time I had cold oats, I'm in love). The coffee was amazing....latte, cold brew Great food, Great service and very clean

Yelp
Great breakfast, coffee and service! We went twice during our trip, and hope to return again in the future. Lots of vegetarian options too!

Yelp
So yummy! We got the nutella and strawberry croissant and the almond croissant for food. The croissants were sooo delicious! We also got a frozen dirty chai, the happy smoothie and mocha frio. The dirty chai was delicious, the happy smoothie tasted like pineapple, the mocha frio was good but could use a little more sweetness. The cafe itself was small but cutie, nice tables but not room to sit and stay. (After further review we went to Yah Yah Cafe and Friends, which is the same cafe just different location) The service was fast and accurate.

Yelp
We drove here from Bucerias because of the great reviews and the people were right! It's a quaint modern clean coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating and a little sofa couch and many books if you feel staying g awhile. I had the breakfast bowl of scrambled eggs and crisp bacon served with spinach and avocado. It was just right a pretty generous portion for breakfast and would carry me through the day of walking until dinner time. Hubby had the banana and peanut butter toast with fresh fruit and one fried egg. If you're looking for healthy lighter fare that's fresh come here! It's bright and service is friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
SO good we went twice! The toasts were incredible & the bagel sandwiches fantastic. It was the perfect spot to kick the day off. Great coffee selection & fresh fresh fresh food!

Yelp
We had an amazing breakfast at this cute little cafe in Sayulita. The coffee was delicious and the fruit was very fresh and tasty. This would be a 5 star restaurant if not for all of the flies. I'm sure there is nothing they can do about it but it took away from the experience a bit because we were shooing away flies during most of our meal.

Ben L.

Yelp
We saw on a poster that it was locally owned, so always good to support the local community. the food was super good. The frozen dirty chai was amazing. The service was so friendly and kind. I was struggling with a migraine and they gave me some ice for my head and some advil as well. It's also nice and shaded and in a quieter street in sayulita. All around really great experience we went multiple times

Yelp
Go early! Yah-Yah's is packed by 9 am, and for good reason. Pastries are excellent the smoothies are so fresh and their breakfast sandwiches are loaded with fresh veggies. They have tons of vegetarian and gluten feee options. We could eat there every day. A definite must do at least once.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
If you're looking for a healthy, yuppy, Atwater village vibe, this is your spot. If you're from Los Angeles and feeling homesick look no more, this is it. They offer gluten, vegan and vegetarian options. I'm sure if you ask for almond, oat, even chivas milk, they probably have it. Lol.

Yelp
Yah Yah Café has become a life line whilst here in Sayulita! The friendly service, probably the best coffee in town, and a great variety of food. Seems to be very popular with tourists and locals alike creating a great ambiance for breakfast people watching!
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
Such a cute spot!! Delicious breakfast and lunch. Lots of coffee styles for those who love their cups of joe - drip, expresso, rok, and aeropress. We tried the Buenos Días bagel sandwich, which was tasty (although HUGE!) and ended up sharing since it was so big. Their smoothies were fresh and just what we needed to hit up the beach. Loved the ambiance - while it feels like a coffee shop with couches and fun chairs, they also mention that they don't want it to be a co-working space, which I appreciated. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Aumitis M.

Yelp
My family and I visit Mexico every year and this is our favorite breakfast spot! The breakfast sandwiches, pasties, sweet breakfast options and coffee are all so good!
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Love Yah-Yah cafe and just discovered Yah-Yah & Friends, their smaller but equally delicious spot. Great coffee, wraps, bagels, English muffins, etc. Definitely a different style, so if you're expecting a NYC style bagel, reset those expectations- I'd describe them as a cross between a croissant and a bagel. Either way, delish!

Mike K.

Yelp
I figured the fruit would've been washed with filtered water, but I figured incorrectly. Hate to say it but avoid fruit or veggies here, had a gastrointestinal emergency 2 hrs after eating here:( People and service was nice but the stomach upset , unpleasant interaction with a nearby bathroom and walk of shame home isn't worth it.

Yelp
We've been coming to Yah-Yah for about a decade now and the coffee and baked goods are still as delicious today as they were back then. This trip we were staying just up the street from their Ninos Heroes location so stopped in almost daily, either for a coffee for us or a croissant for our daughter. Love the variety of non-dairy milk they offer!
google avatar

Yelp
We're back in Sayulita and had some breakfast at Yah-Yahs, the food was great as usual but unfortunately they do not take credit cards daily, some days are Cash Only; so, if that's an important issue for you, double check before ordering.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute coffee shop with simple, but yummy breakfast items. I ended up getting two toasts... one with egg, tomato's, onions, and avocado on top, and another with bananas, chia seeds, and honey. One savory and one sweet! Both were really good, and about the right amount as brunch for me. My wife had another green smoothie. I had a sip and this one was really good. Sweet with more of a pineapple taste than the celery, spinach, and avocado gave. The server was really nice and friendly, and the cafe itself was cute.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Love this spot for breakfast. Great cold brew coffee, and the few smoothie options they have are delicious.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Love this charming cafe. Everything is fresh. The tea and coffee are delicious. There is an English and Spanish menu.

Nick P.

Yelp
Great way to start your morning with lots of fresh fruit and delicious coffees! I particularly like the iced dirty chai.
google avatar

Alyssa B.

Yelp
Cute little spot just a bit away from the busier streets. If you want a little quieter place away from the main streets this is it. Had good vegan options. Coffee was delicious with a few plant-based milk options. I got a vegan bagel, everything tasted fresh. The bagel was more like toast than a bagel but it was good! My partner got an egg dish that seemed slightly undercooked so be mindful how you ask for your eggs. Staff was nice and helpful.

Greg F.

Yelp
The service was rude. They would not serve us a glass of water with our breakfast and kicked us out for getting our own drinks after they refused.
google avatar

Chelsi B.

Yelp
The coffee is delicious, the San Pancho English muffin was amazing and the Shelby toast was delicious. Would go daily if I lived here. Hands down amazing.

catharine s.

Yelp
Really delicious food- breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and smoothies. Definitely put the homemade salsas on your food too! Best coffee we've had in Sayulita! They also have wonderful service and location
google avatar

Yelp
Second time here just as good as before. Two word review would be -Churro waffle! However this place has it all smoothies, bowls, wraps, waffels, and coffee made in several different styles for the true enthusiast...aero press, drip and rok...and expresso. Went for the savory bomb peace and love. First it was 2 large waffels with banana bacon and peanut butter. Tasty and fresh. Definitely could have split it. The place is clean and friendly servers do speak more English than I speak Spanish. They are also patient if your wanting to practice Spanish so I felt very welcomed. Price is good and doesn't feel elevated for tourists we saw a few locals here after a yoga class. For the peace and love and an iced laté it was 150 pesos so about $7.75 dollars with xchange rate. It was about 70% humidity so the ac and multiple fans were much appreciated! Definitely will keep coming Menu - https://sincontacto.menu/yah-yah/es/ Covid hand sanitizer brought to table. Servers wear masks

Yelp
I mean, it's okay. This place is kinda known as the talk of the town in Sayulita as far as brunch goes, but personally, I was underwhelmed. Their menu is more limited than I was expecting, with a strong over-indexing on bagels. The real stand-out thing is the sauce the provide with their meals, and really was the only thing that packed a real punch of flavor. Overall, not my fav spot in Sayulita for brunch. Try Misc cafe imo.
google avatar

Bill B.

Yelp
Make it a 4.5. Went almost every day for two weeks, that good. Really good, organic (not that I care), fresh, menu with good serving sizes. Food cooked to perfection. Coffee especially good. Prices a teeny bit on the high side, but worth the few extra pennies. Don't let the lines fool you. Give it ten minutes and you'll be seated.
google avatar

Jake A.

Yelp
Cute little breakfast place. walking distance from our hotel and beach the food was delicious highly recommend the peace and love waffles. Menu: See picture. Very covid friendly masked servers and hand sanitizer available
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Probably one of the most delicious breakfasts I've had in some time. Very friendly staff, especially Belim! We had the churro waffles and the special w egg, bacon and ham on two wonderful waffles! Fantastic! Fresh smoothies, great coffee and many many menu choices. We will go back tomorrow for a second round which we rarely do. Reasonably priced as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Lovely little respite on the south side of the town with great coffee and amazing breakfast options. We came around 10 am on a Sunday and it was busy with a constant flow of people, but not over crowded. Service was super friendly, fluent in English, even when I ordered in Spanish, for anyone timid to try. We ordered iced latte Baileys which arrived in a cute metal mug, like a milk can, the Shelby which was a generous portion of scrambled egg on toast with bacon & avocado, the Rafiq bowl with chia, coconut, pineapple & strawberry (hold the banana), AND the amazing Suspiro croissant with cram cheese, strawberries, apples and honey. Ginger chai rounded out our order and nothing disappoints!

Yelp
Excellent smoothies and awesome bagel sandwich. Great prices and super clean and fast service!

Yelp
I've been coming to this spot for breakfast every year on my annual visit to Sayulita for several years. This past trip, January 2022, was deserving of 0 star but since you guys were great in the past, I'm giving 2. There were several issues on my latest visit: 1. This was the smallest issue, because I understand being busy and the atmosphere of sayulita, but I tried to order breakfast here 5 times this trip, and was only served once because you guys were too backed up with orders. Maybe it's time to hire more staff or something? 2. The one time I able to order food, I ordered breakfasts & coffees for both my boyfriend & me, so my order wasn't small. While waiting for my breakfast (my boyfriend ran back to the house to grab our water) I was asked to relocate to the street curb in the heat & sun because someone had misheard my order as to go. I explained I wanted my food for there, but was still pushed outside so a different couple could sit inside at the table I was occupying. The experience was super weird and uncomfortable for both me & the other couple. Not to mention, I was a paying customer.. Oh, and it's not like the food came out right after. I had to sit out on the street in the heat for 30 minutes. 3. I always get the same thing.. a blended dirty chai latte made with coconut milk, and it's always amazing! This time, it was inedible. We both had to toss ours. I'm not sure if the coconut milk had spoiled, but it was all I could taste, and not in a good way, because I love coconut milk. Kind of tasted like coconut oil instead, and it was all separated and floating at the top.

Yelp
Varied menu, adorable spot. Great coffee. There are lots of gluten free and vegetarian options.
google avatar

Cesar S.

Yelp
food was bland and coffee was ok. Would not return. The wait staff was kind of slow it took them a few minutes to acknowledge us even though we were standing in front of the cashier.
google avatar

Caitlin S.

Yelp
We were craving smoothies on a humid day and this place did not disappoint!! I got the happy smoothie and my sister and mom got the green smoothie. Both were delicious and so refreshing. This place is about a block outside of town but was worth the short walk. They have AC and the vibe inside is nice. The bagel sandwiches looked yummy too and they have alternative milks for coffee. I'll be back!
google avatar

Kody S.

Yelp
The coffee and smoothies were very good, and the food was excellent. Ended up stopping by for a coffee and a quick bite every morning of our trip and we will miss coming here. The salsa they serve with their sandwiches had no business being as good as it was.
google avatar

Pamela L.

Yelp
They don't have any of the things in the photos, no bagels, no avo toast, no waffles Coffe and premade pastries inly
google avatar

Ana T.

Yelp
Food delicious. Service is confusing and petty. But if you need vitamins go here. Also cliental doesn't fit sayulita beach vibe. It's like LA wear Hollywood and I was trying to escape California.
