"Besides Osen Izakaya, the only Silver Lake sushi spot we recommend is Yakuza - a busy spot in a busy part of the neighborhood. If you’re with a sushi purist, they’ll scoff at some of the definitely-not-authentic rolls, but that just means you get more of the house Yakuza Roll - yellowtail, tuna, and salmon wrapped in avocado - for yourself. Get one of those, some fantastic sauteed spinach, and a crab-heavy blue crab handroll, and you’ll have an excellent, affordable, and filling meal." - Brett Keating

Great, hip place for sushi. The price is a little high but not too bad, and the food is worth it. The patio dining was super comfortable and the service was very quick and accommodating.

Ugh.... it hurts to write this review because I don't live in the area and miss it so much already! First, they have valet parking which is super convenient for this area, especially on a Saturday night. But it does come with a small fee. My friend and I had her pup with us, so we sat outside and they were super accommodating with us having the pup. Even brought him water! Prices were pretty decent especially for what we ordered. We had the sashimi combo to share, tempura appetizer and seaweed salad. Everything was on point. The sashimi though was excellent quality and SO FRESH. Came with some Japanese style pickles and seaweed salad on the platter, the seaweed salad is delicious. The tempura was standard, but good nonetheless. Service was good. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion size. We absolutely loved this place and intend on coming back when in the area!

Fantastic sushi, rivals any you've had. I'd definitely recommend. We went during lunch and had the yakuza, mountain roll and Philadelphia rolls

What a great night out for sushi. We really enjoyed their fresh rolls, especially the soft-shell crab roll. Since we went early in the evening, the restaurant was really quiet and service was really fast and friendly. The happy hour specials are a great deal if you can make it early. The outdoor patio is really a cool place to sit, as long as you don't mind the traffic on Silver Lake Blvd.

You can definitely miss this spot the first time around but definitely worth your stop. This humble space is extremely warm and inviting. From the moment you step in and get waited, you are greeted by the host, management, and the chefs. Everything is reasonably priced: from meals to individual dishes. The Sushi is so fresh, you can see, taste, and savor it at every bite. Moreso, it is a treat to see it being prepped across your table. Service was quick and very attentive. And will be returning soon.

I absolutely loved this sushi spot. They had the most BOMB Baked Salmon Roll. We ordered three of them after having one. Their Protein Cucumber is also amazing. It has no rice so it’s perfect for you fitness and nutrition junkies. But it’s also very fast for anyone looking for some good yummy sushi. Also, the Caterpillar Roll is a classic and also tastes fantastic. The ambiance is chill. The prices are a bit high but it’s also in Silverlake and service is decent.

They might have the best Sushi in Silver Lake but the service for people that order online is ZERO. My advice is if you want their food DO NOT ORDER TO PICK UP/DELIVER. Serious I waited an hour and a half for my food and the only reason I got any response is because I asked numerous times. They weren't crazy busy and not once, I repeat not once did one of the staff ask if they could help me. I also thought that maybe the owner would say "I dropped the ball and forgot your order" but I got nothing...if you look at my other reviews I have never complained, I like to give honest reviews. I feel for people that work for postmates, Uber eats, etc...as they are the ones having to veg for your food at places like this...We ordered at 8:25 and got the food at 10:05 that was 8 items which they left out one...Sorry for the rant just as restaurants need good reviews they also need to hear about where they can fix things.

This place has really improved. They had a dip in quality awhile back and we stopped going, but we went the other night and it was great. Very fresh and well prepared. I imagine we will be heading back there regularly again which is great because we live nearby.
