On the Grid : Yaletown Ferry Dock

"Aquabus and False Creek Ferries provide an easy and affordable taxi service around False Creek. Zig-zagging their way from the north shore to the south, these little ferries make their way from Science World to the Aquatic Centre, running approximately every 7-8 minutes. Yaletown ferry dock, located at the end of Davie Street in the vibrant heart of Yaletown, is located midway along the ferry route. Taking a ferry across to Granville Island on a summer day is a mesmerizing and uniquely Vancouver experience that we warmly recommend. The rates range from a one-way fare of $3.25-$4.50, to a full tour of False Creek for $8, or a day pass for $15." - Becki Chan & Milos Begovic

Beautiful area for the residents and visitors. All flat trail is around the False Creek. If you have time for a day trip, get the day pass ticket from both ferry companies in this area. You will love this trip. There are so many things to see and eat in all the docks that they stop in the water downtown. The price of the day pass is very reasonable and a very pleasant ride. So you don't need to walk so much and have a rest in all different coffee shops, restaurants, centres, markets and the ferries too. Granville Island is a must visit spot in this area. Many market vendors, restaurants, food courts, arts, music and many more in the Island. You can rent a boat in Granville Island and rent a bike in the whole area.

Frequent ferries from this location are open year-round. Good terminal to use to connect between ferry and Canada Line SkyTrain at Yaletown Station and the wider Yaletown area.
