Yallingup Luxury Retreat

"This complex of five villas—each with two suites—is more a self-contained retreat than a full-service hotel. The larger suite in each villa has a dining area, a living room, and a well-equipped kitchen, while the smaller suite has a compact kitchenette and a generously proportioned whirlpool tub. The emphasis throughout is on comfort and luxury, as epitomized by the crazed profusion of cushions in the master bedroom, which sports an almost absurdly high four-poster bed. A chef can be booked in advance, and beauty treatments and picnic baskets are available upon request, but you are otherwise on your own. A large formal garden and beautiful eucalyptus meadow beckon beyond the glass lounge doors; come sundown, wildlife goes bouncing by."

We had a lovely stay, our room was great (Verdelo suite) the outdoor spa was absolute heaven! The breakfast & lunch platter was absolutely delicious! Also loved the cold pressed juices! The day spa package was excellent was very relaxing and the girls were very professional made you feel at ease. We felt like new women after our 2 days of pampering & retreat staycation. A Big shout out to these beautiful ladies Emilie and the other girls (sorry cant remember the other ladies names) also big shout out to Chris who made our stay very enjoyable . You're all absolute superstars! The staff were very accommodating to our needs and requests even prior to arriving! Highly recommend staying at the accommodation and Day Spa services.

My wife and I stayed at Yallingup Lodge Spa Retreat and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, things felt off. The reception from the owner was rude and completely unwelcoming. Once we got to our room, the issues only got worse. There was no hot water, the doorknobs were sticky, and the coasters were literally stuck to the bedside tables. The floors had a strong stench of alcohol and cigarette smoke, which made the room feel dirty and poorly maintained. When we realised the TV didn’t work, I called the owner. They didn’t answer, and only returned the call an hour later saying they had a missed call from my number. I explained the TV issue, and the response was, “Oh, that’s odd, I’ll send someone over to have a look.” No one ever came. We eventually decided to leave and drive back to Perth. As we were heading out, we passed the owners driving up the driveway with pizza boxes. About 10 minutes later, I received a text saying that “the birds must have knocked the antenna over and someone will come look at it tomorrow.” Our stay was for one night only, so this response was completely unhelpful. Between the poor customer service, the lack of basic functionality, and the overall cleanliness issues, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. We won’t be returning, and I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re expecting a relaxing and professional retreat.

Lovely secluded bush setting getaway. Been there many times and it never disappoints. The staff, the grounds and the fabulous cocktails and grazing platters with local produce and vegetarian options are fabulous. Breakfast overlooking the property is always delicious and includes eggs and produce from the property. Favourite down south stay away.

The only thing I liked about this place is that we could bring our dog with us. The room wasn’t too bad, breakfast was absolutely nice, and the location was decent as well. The worst part, however, was the massage. It was the most horrible massage I have ever experienced. I don’t think she knew how to massage—she poured about a liter of oil all over my body and even into my hair. In the end, I had to shower twice just to get the oil out of my hair. I would not recommend getting a massage here at all. I never want to come back again.

READ BEFORE BOOKING As a solo travelling woman with anxiety and adhd, I was very disappointed in the manner in which things were handled that I turned my car around and came home wasting >$400!!! There was potential for so many clients but I won’t be recommending this place to anyone!! I Was coming in with my dog for my birthday, received some calls then started to get asked if I can be their 3 hours before my spa appointment, then to pay while I’m driving. It was an appalling phone manner, if the situation was handled differently I wouldn’t have had a panic attack and felt like I was beneath the place! If you are someone with mental illness don’t bother with this place they’ll honestly just ruin the experience and your anxiety level! Can’t comment on the facilities or anything else because I ended up going back to Perth. Don’t waste your money!

Had a wonderful time at Yallingup Lodge Spa Retreat. On arriving the hosts were very warm and friendly. The rooms were wonderful surrounded by natural Australian bushland a very relaxing, serene and peaceful stay. I am already telling family and friends for a great getaway Yallingup Lodge Spa Retreat is the place to go for a weekend or longer.

We had an amazing honeymoon at this beautiful place. Everything was spectacular from the rooms, to the food, views and surroundings and the staff. We had the Verdelho treetop room with private balcony and spa. Was just such a romantic place to stay. Enjoyed every minute here. And all the local food and drinks were close by to visit during the day. Fresh produve stand just down the road. We will definetly be coming back!! 👌🩷

Not worth the $1400 price tag False advertising, zero service, and outdated everything. Check-in took 20 mins with no staff in sight, spa was “fully booked” (and closed Wednesdays!) despite being the main reason we booked claiming to be a “Spa Retreat”. Towels weren’t replaced, old ones were folded back damp (with no where to hang towels to dry), and staff were uncontactable. Driveway full of potholes, TV barely works, and checkout was another 20 min wait with no invoice before charging. This place has huge potential but right now it’s lucky to get 2 stars – avoid.
