Yama Sushi House - Premium AYCE Sushi

Our favorite sushi place just got even better. We tried their new “all you can eat” menu tonight and it did not disappoint! So much variety, I was shocked it was a full menu including appetizers, rolls, nigiri and more. Such unique desserts. We already loved the warm, gooey pineapple upside down cake but the matcha cheesecake was a fun and delicious addition. Service is incredible and we always see our favorite server who has been there for years. When the weather is nice, we prefer to sit on the patio. 10/10!

Pretty good Japanese restaurant! Had a nigiri set and the whole grilled squid. Both were good and fresh. However, the rice-fish balance was a bit off, i.e., the rice was a bit too much or the fish a bit thin for the amount of the rice. I did like the flavoring in the rice rather than using plain rice. The (garlic ponzu?) sauce on the squid was quite tasty, especially with a whole lot of garlic chunks. For this one, the portion of the shredded cabbage could be increased. Also, this time, the squid was slightly overcooked, making it a bit tough to chew. It went well with the side order of rice. Very attentive service! Not quite 5 but more than 4. Will come back here again for the grilled squid!

Met a friend for dinner. Beers are reasonably priced. Fish tasted fresh. My friend ordered the Las Vegas roll and the Godzilla roll. Both were very good. Spicy garlic edamame was tasty. They have happy hour from 2-5pm. Our waitress was so friendly! I’ll be back! :)

First time eating here after another sushi place had a one hour wait time. Was seated right away. I went with the all you can eat menu. Every thing was delicious. Server Anh was very sweet and very professional. I recommend the takoyaki and Szechwan spicy chicken.

All you can eat is definitely worth it. The sushi is fresh and tasty, and there’s something nice about being able to try a little bit of everything without worrying about the price adding up. I also love that they include dessert; it feels like a complete meal rather than just endless sushi. Plus, ending on something sweet makes the whole experience feel extra satisfying!

The food was delicious! My family got the AYCE for $40 a person and you will easily get your money’s worth. They have Toro, Wagyu, High quality Uni, fresh oysters, INCLUDED in the AYCE menu! And the rest of their food was delicious too, takoyaki, nigiris and sashimis. Will return for sure!

Warm fish and cold sake. We knew something was "Fishy" when the sake came out cold and the management tried to explain it was traditional, we decided to leave when our fish arrived warmer than the room it was in. The reviews for this website on Google are clearly fake, not only do I feel robbed, I'm praying I see tomorrow after 1 bite at Yama Sushi House. I visited this place with my family yesterday. We loved it. The atmosphere is really nice, the waiters and waitresses were very kind and always making sure we had what we needed. The menu has a big selection of food, specially sushi. We had vegetable tempura cooked to perfection, the best I have tried so far in Arizona, fried calamari with a delicious sauce that had the perfect amount of spiciness, sweetness, and ginger. We also had miso ramen, different varieties of sushi, fried chicken bites, and seafood udon. Everything was well executed and delicious. I'm definitely coming back soon.
