this place is so near the ferry port for access its great. do not be fooled by the picture of this place , it's great. we stayed here for three nights and loved it. its quiet clean and very traditional with fantastic food. I would heartly recommend the Japanese breakfast this was a feast in its self. the staff are what makes this place tick helpful , generous and with a personality as well. if you usually book corporate then i would say still stay here as it is a treat and you have a very strong feeling of relaxation when you leave. its like visiting your favourite family members.

Absolutely amazing experience! Shinko-San is an absolute gem. We loved her so much! The food was incredible, the room was cozy, and the location was great. She was also able to accommodate our tight schedule. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and we will remember it forever. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are ever back in Miyajima.

This is the reliable and trusted halal restaurant in the island. Easy to find, located next to the Lawson. Went here for lunch- the staff/ chef was very accommodating and super kind! We were attended swiftly as we entered the place. The place felt like old charms- with table arrangements, the vibes, and the huge aquarium tank at the corner of eatery. They served halal- muslim meals. We had eel set with 2 side dishes. I tried its all 4 side dishes. 1. Deep fried oysters- crunchy battered, with average size of oysters. 2. Grilled oysters- quite big, and fresh taste. 3. Raw sea eel- kinda dry, soft and not smelly. 4. Fried vegetables tempura- crunchy batter and tender veggies. The grilled sea eels were savoury with soy sauce glazed. They were all good! The chef was friendly! Felt appreciated with the great services! Totally recommended for Muslim travellers.

My wife and I stayed at this quaint family-run hotel during our honeymoon trip for two nights. The matriarch who runs it is one of these sweetest, kindest people we've met in Japan and a true example of Japanese hospitality. She basically wrote us an entire itinerary on our map and timed it so that we made it back for dinner, and it was accurate to the minute. The food was authentic and amazing. When we return, we certainly plan to stay here again!

Went here for a muslim-friendly meal while in Miyajima. The restaurant is run by an incredibly sweet lady. It was obvious that her and her staff serves from the heart. They provided a room for us to pray in, even with prayer mats. The food itself was really delicious. Definitely the highlight of my trip.

I felt like I was visiting my grandma when I came to this place. The sweet woman that met us was very kind and accommodating. We reserved the western style room which was fairly comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very small and the beds were pretty hard. The meals were great and it was western style seating in a small dining room on the first floor. It's very conveniently located right next to the ferry stop so you can drop your stuff off and then explore the island.

What a charming hotel! The staff is absolutely lovely, accommodating and friendly. For those that cannot speak Japanese, they speak a little English as well ☺️ It is an older hotel, but still nice and clean rooms. And right next to the ferry terminal! Not even a 3 minute walk to the ferry. Can absolutely recommend this place for an overnight stay at Miyajima!

Didn’t stay in the hotel, just ate at the restaurant. It’s pretty difficult to get vegetarian and / or gluten free in Miyajima, but this place did both. Excellent food, excellent service, perfect location near the ferry terminal. Highly recommended
