"Completed in 1914 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this Japanese-style hillside restaurant was reportedly modeled after a landmark near Kyoto and is prized as much for its sweeping panoramic views—from LAX to Downtown—as for its menu of sushi, noodles and steak."
I had a great experience here. The staff were friendly, it was very clean, very affordable prices and I felt totally refreshed afterwards. The medicinal bath was so good and they welcome foreigners with tattoos 😊👌

Best onsen in Kyoto, also the only onsen I've been to in Kyoto. No frills, but it was refreshing to visit during the hot summer days.
