It is with much sadness I write this review. In the past, the Yanchep Inn restaurant has been one of our highlights. Last year's Christmas Eve dinner was sensational. Sadly that is no longer the case. It's an hour's drive each way for us, and with a $17 Park(ing) fee we were expect the usual 'WOW, that is so worth it', but it was not to be. The meal wasn't even as good as we can cook at home. My wife's Pasta dish had zero seasoning, and no cheese. When we asked for cheese, 'yes, that will be $2.30 please'. Really? And my burger, wasn't even as good as the local Burger King. Dessert, Sticky date pudding. Over- cooked and dry pudding/cake, with barely enough caramel sauce to cover it, and ice-cream that was gritty, like it had been left out, melted and re-frozen. Or it was the cheapest they could find in the local supermarket. I don't know if it's new owners, new kitchen staff, or an accountant has been whispering sweet nothings in the owner's ear, but we won't be returning. (This review is my personal opinion, and I have not received any incentive to post it. Just need to CYA.)
