Yangshuo Green Lotus Hotel

Great location and fantastic hotel. We had the view of the lake and it was so beautiful at sunrise and sunset. At night from 9-11 they also have late night snack, we had congee. The breakfast buffet was amazing! So many choices from western to Chinese cuisine. Make sure you get the breakfast in the morning. We only stayed for one night but would’ve loved to stay another night or two to check out the gym and pool. IG: bymelcee

Excellent hotel - location, pool and service! On arrival the lovely lady on reception advised us the room we had booked was probably not best for a family and changed our booking to a more suitable one. The new room was excellent and this moment of great customer service really had a positive impact on us. The hotel is in a brilliant location just on the edge of the very busy downtown/Xi Jie area, but still with plenty of restaurants, shops, ebike hire, etc. right outside the door. and only a very short walk to Xi Jie. It’s also on the river with lovely views of the river and mountains, especially from the pool area. We loved the pool area… gorgeous setting, big enough for fun and proper swimming and a sanctuary from the hustle, bustle and heat of Yangshou. After a days exploring it was a lovely thing to come back to for all the family.

The Pros: clean hotel with impressive large foyer and good size room. Our balcony had a great view of mountains and the river. The reception staff and concierge were efficient.The Cons: don’t believe the sign that says the restaurant is open until 10pm. We went after a show to eat at 8:30 and it was closed! Not only that but there was literally nothing the hotel could offer us at that time but porridge! There isn’t really a bar but you can ask for a drink that appears but the drinks menu is very limited - they have one beer! Some of the staff have serious customer service training needs and bark orders at you sternly. Don’t bother with food or drink here - there are plenty of bars and restaurants around West Street who make you very welcome unlike here.

The Green Lotus is really in the Top in the List of Hotels. You will really get your moneys worth. The Staff was really respectful and seemed to really like working in the Hotel. Even when faced with problems they tried everything they could to help. The Green Lotus had many facilities from having a children play area to a Pool that was in really good quality. They also have a Gym where you could workout. A very good restaurant, a washing room, and more. It felt like there was almost nothing they didn‘t have. The Rooms were in a really clean condition, with a nice selection of shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. The outside view that you have in the hotel was also really beautiful. I will always go back to this Hotel if i will ever go back into this region.

Very clean. Staff were helpful. Really easy to rent electric mopeds from the hotel, they had really good tourist services. The location was good, short walk to the main tourist street so able to get away from the crowd easily.

The perfect location, walking distance to Xi-jie (west street)! the room was clean, I loved everything about the hotel, except just one, the Wi-fi. wi-fi is not much stable.

Excellent swimming pool! Location is ideal - situated just five minutes from West Street.Good view from the room too!

The hotel was absolutely great, very clean, breakfast huge variety of choices, people are very kind and supportive. Is very central and the view from our room to the mountains - simply stunning. The place to go in Yangshuo.
