Yann's at Glenearn House

Had a lovely evenng for our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and wines were very reasonably priced. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was that we didn't meet the owner himself. Probably working hard in the kitchen I'd guess. Will definitely be returning.

Warm, welcoming and cosy on a winter's evening. Friendly and attentive staff dealing well with limited space. We were a party in a room set apart for that and it was private but not cut off. The menu was varied, the staff were helpful and supportive, and the food was to die for!! For example, steaks were beautifully done and choices were wide. Lovely evening, lovely atmosphere, and a place to go again.

This French restaurant is my favourite, I keep it for special occasions! What can I say but it is worth more than 5 stars, the atmosphere, the food and the staff creates the most excellent evening. If you're looking for an evening of pure French indulgence Yann's is definitely for you.

Have been a few times over the years and get genuinely excited to make the trip from Linlithgow. First time to stay over. Dinner was AMAZING as usual. Everybody so welcoming and the food was first class. The room we stayed in was lovely. Basic standards of cleanliness extremely high. The room was lovely and bright with great views. Already booked our next 2 visits. Favourite place to visit for dinner in Scotland!

Absolutely brilliant meal here at Yann's. The service was friendly and there is a good selection on the menu. The wine list is also great. Special mention the the Scallops and Black Pudding to start!

This is an excellent place. A beautiful building with a lovely atmosphere. The food is excellent with a great selection on the menu and daily specials. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Crieff.

Delightful experience, lovely warm welcome, enjoy the sumptuous sitting room in front of the wood burner, with your drink, whilst exploring the menu. Restaurant perfect, lighting soft, attention to every detail, and the food is exceptional.

Excellent food with genrous portions - you won't leave hungry. French Savoyarde themed. Great, friendly service and great wine. One of the best restaurants in Crieff and surrounding areas. Sister restaurant to the Lounge in Crieff, also very good.

Wow. Just wow. The food, the ambience, the waitstaff were all better than we ever expected - and we had high hopes based on everything we had heard about this restaurant! My family of four (all adults) shared a pierrade and a raclette. There was enough food for an army and it was all delicious! What could be better than melted cheese and freshly cooked meats? The sides of course! The pierrade came with salad (that was re-filled for us as needed), French fries and delicious dipping sauces for our chicken, duck, lamb, pork and beef. The raclette came with steamed potatoes and a tray of cured meats. So much food that they had to put another small table next to us for the sides! We thoroughly enjoyed our chats with the staff and the owner, Shari. We felt as though we were guests in her home. It was quite a treat. Thank you, Shari and Yann. It was a memorable night. :)

This meal was one of the top meals on our 15-day trip around Scotland. We had the special scallop appetizer. Delish. My French onion soup was extraordinary & I would consider myself a French onion soup snob--it's one of my favorites and I've had it all around the world, Paris included. The real star of the meal, though, was my husband's Chicken Savoryade. It's almost like a deconstructed chicken cordon bleu. It's a chicken breast with Parma ham on top, nestled on a bed on carmelized shallots in a Marsala cream sauce baked with a decadent layer of gruyere cheese on top. The hubby ate every last morsel and threw in his perfectly crispy done French fries in the remaining sauce to get every last drop. Don't miss this place. We will be dreaming about this meal when we return to the US.

Yelp is missing out by not featuring this place. Wonderful French cuisine. In my two weeks I n Scotland this is my best meal. You have to get the chicken savoyard!!! It is chef Jeremy's secret recipe. I looked on google and could not find a recipe that was like this one. My wife had the French onion soup that was also delicious. Not at all salty like many. For a starter we had the scallops and black pudding special with hollandaise baked on top. It's a bit of a ways from LA or else we would be bringing all our friends back.

Went there with 2 kids on the spur of the moment on a Thursday evening, and got their last free table. We had the only kids in the place. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service great, and the food delicious. My daughter and I shared the raclette -- there were enough potatoes with it to feed a small army, 3 different cheeses, plus a platter of cured meats and a salad. It would have comfortably fed 3 people. My husband had a salmon pizza, which was also fabulous. It looked like it would be a really nice place to stay as well. It was about $125 for the 4 of us with drinks and one dessert, and well worth it.

Great French cooking in a smart and convivial setting. Good wine selection at reasonable cost.
