It was our first time coming to Yard House and for being New Years Eve night I expected to be longer wait but I was so glad it wasn’t! The waiter was so polite and friendly, food was beyond amazing! Wasn’t a wait for anything which was perfect for our night! Thank you for such a great experience we will definitely be back!

Yard House was the perfect place to give our friends the send-off they deserved! 🎉 From the moment we walked in, the energy was buzzing — this is not your quiet date spot, it’s where you come when you want the night alive and unforgettable. The service was fast, attentive, and super friendly. Our table had a mix of everything — crispy fries stacked high, tacos with the perfect crunch, fresh grilled fish with charred lemon, and some saucy handhelds that disappeared way too quickly. Every bite was bold, flavorful, and exactly what you expect when you want to indulge. 🍴🔥 The drinks? Just as impressive. 🍸🍹 Their menu is huge, with something for everyone, and our cocktails came out looking as good as they tasted. We wrapped it all up with a sweet surprise dessert plate dusted with “CONGRATS!” in cocoa powder — the perfect touch for a celebratory night. 🍫🍨 Bottom line: Yard House delivered on every level. The atmosphere is electric, the food and drinks are consistently on point, and it’s the place to go when you want to celebrate big with friends. I mentioned to her that it was my birthday a couple of days ago, and she surprised me with a slice of birthday cheesecake! That thoughtful gesture really made my day. The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. Thank you, Laura, for going above and beyond!

Love the room the booths have! Plenty of room and comfortable. We had great service for a birthday lunch. Accommodating to the group that we had and kept the drinks full. We all enjoyed our food which caused us all to slide into a food coma. Then the server brought out a slice of cake with ice cream for my son to enjoy. Great experience!

I've been here many many times and idk why.... the food just ain't good. Drinks are great but I've had the burger, lobster noodles, chicken sandwich, fries are wack, everything I've had here just isn't it. The only idems on the menu I can actually say was good is their bang bang shrimp on crispy rice and their shrimp noodles. Other than that, I gave it enough try to say dont go here for the food! Service is always good.

I want to say I have ALWAYS loved this place! There's never been one day or night I went that was underwhelming. The atmosphere is intoxicating in the best way, the food is chefs kiss and high quality and presentation, and my Waiter last week Carter was the most understanding waiter I EVER had in all my years in this life. That man deserves recognition for the cordial humor, interpersonal skills, social awareness, patience, expeditousness and drive to be successful. Thank you Carter

Little on the pricey side but honestly worth it!! I got the Cali Roll Stack (def look at a photo in the restaurant!!) and it was delicious then the taco combo (2 birria, 1 shrimp) and it was amazing!! Our server was Alexis and did an excellent job managing the large party. She was polite and attentive and very helpful with the menu especially with my questions. Excellent service and definitely coming back just for her!!

Food and service was amazing .. we had such a romantic dinner. It was nice to see managers checking in on us.PS I didn't catch her name but she was younger brown hair. you can join me and my husband at any time, but bring your chef uniform that's a big turn on for us!!

Plenty of parking in the front and back. Keep in mind it gets packed very quickly. Upon entrance we were told there's a 20 minute wait. Our information was entered on the waiting list followed by a confirmation text. The environment is loud and full of conversations from friends and families. The restrooms were not as clean and the water is too hot when washing hands. Food was ok. Wishing the portions were bigger. Lobster Garlic Noodle did not have equal portions of lobster and shrimp. There was more shiitake mushrooms than protein and I tasted the garlic.. but lacking seasoning. Asada tacos were ok and the rice/beans lacked flavor. Spicy jambalaya was not spicy and it was bland. We were told that the chef who can really prepare the jambalaya at its finest was off and the other chef who was on duty makes it ok. I should have asked when that original chef returns to try it! Tip starts at 18% 22% and 25%. Take note that you can customize your tip as well.

I cannot seriously be leaving this simple review, but then again, it is Bakersfield, so I can seriously be leaving this simple review. Today, September 5th, approximately 45 minutes ago around 1:45 or so, I stopped at Yardhouse for lunch after handling a few errands. They were not busy at all. I was seated at a booth and after waiting for well over 10-15 minutes with no server at all, I got up, took the menu back up front to the three employees chatting at the hostess station, told them no server at my table, told them to have a nice day, left the restaurant. I get much better service at Yardhouse in Long Beach but then again, it is a much better demographic of people in Long Beach than in Bakersfield...any day of the week. I then went to Eureka for lunch. Immediate service, excellent personality, excellent food. I would recommend Eureka all day, every day. Yard House in Bakersfield? Not a chance...ever.

I have to give 3.5 stars. Everything was a notch above "okay." Recently went on a Monday eve around 6pm. Party of 6. Bill was approx $289. Starting with the bad. The server had a poop face up until the moment she handed us the check. Then she smiled and "appeared" friendly for that tip. I used to play in Metal bands so I don't mind loud music. However, the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk at the table. The good: Seated in a timely manner despite no reservation for a party of 6. Food temp was perfect. Almost like it went from grill straight to table without any time under the heat lamps. Table assignment was roomy. We had elbow room that was a plus with the "lefties" in our party. Not a bad eating experience but nothing so special that I'm calling my friends up to tell them how amazing everything was.

Great lunch with a friend! I had the sliders with fries-they were perfect-ate two and took two home-my friend had the Cobb salad and she loved it! Will be back soon!

Good music, clean and nice atmosphere, and excellent service. Came in for mid day drinks and an appetizer. Was served by the very delightful, friendly and personable Sebastian. My sister and I were the very first to try Jenn's Blackberry Rickey - as it was just added to the menu that day. So delicious! Topped with foaming bitters that add an earthy, aromatic flavor that we adored, I'd come back for this cocktail alone. I also tried a Pineapple Express which was fruity and refreshing with fresh mint. I would recommend both. For an appetizer, we shared the chicken nachos which could have fed 2 additional people. All in all, a lovely experience. We enjoyed our drinks and food while rocking out to our dad's playlist highlights.

Came here on Friday for happy hour. It was fully packed but glad our party of 5 was able to get a table easily. Our server came right away to take drink orders. All beer on tap and cocktails are 1/2 half M-F 3:00-6:00pm. My friend got herself a Dos Equis glass while I opted for their signature strawberry mule. We started with a bbq pizza, poke nachos, and truffle fries. All of which are also on the 1/2 off happy hour menu. I usually come here for the poke nachos, and as usual, it did not disappoint. Wontons were crispy, tuna was fresh, and sauce was just right! The pizza was also superb and had enough bbq sauce to where it wasn't overpowering. My other friends ordered the fried calamari and chicken nachos, both of which were also on the happy hour menu. The calamari was fried perfectly and had the right texture. Although, I didn't really find the nachos appealing. By then, it was time to refill drinks and this time, I had the Hawaiian mule. I must say, I like this much better than the first drink. It had a refreshing taste but was not overly sweet. My other friends have never tried it before and were also delighted by the taste. We sat in the patio and it was the perfect ambiance that set the tone for a great night pre-celebrating for Mother's Day.

Customer Service Awesome Food delicious Nice big clean place Usually I come durning happy hour, Food half off , not all the drinks but they do have drinks half off. My drink was not half off but it was fruity an delicious. Strawberry Daiquiri, not to much alcohol but enough , it tasted like a dessert. Chicken tenders is crispy on the outside an tender on the inside. Their sweet potato fries pair with ranch is yummy. Their onion rings reminder me of a place that no longer open, the batter is no other not crispy not soft but between the two, when you break it in half the stream comes out right away . Happy Hour is a great time to come . It gets crowed, but that's okay your food comes out hot.

Yard House is always on point they got a nice bar plenty of alcohol plenty of stuff to choose from they're always on point when it comes to food quality too they give you quite a bit because the jambalaya can't even finish with so much sausage shrimp and rice I had to take it all home The calamari was on point nice and hot The sauce that went with it was on point also My partner love th the pizza and the alcohol of course laugh out loud definitely will go back I've been there a couple times and never been disappointed

They have a big parking lot and friendly staff. We were immediately greeted and seated. They have a huge menu of page after page of beer wine and mixed drinks. They also have a large food menu. We settled on a cheeseburger and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was big and very crunchy with delicious fries. I had a salad instead of fries with my cheeseburger. The meat was cooked to order and delicious and the service was very good. We would return. Thanks Yard House for a great lunch.

Dion was a top of the line AMAZING server! We never had better!!! Orean ribeye, Kurobuta pork burger, Onion ring stack, a surprise Oreo brookie! we WILL be back again and again!!!

I have previously reviewed Yard House however I had to come back and review once again due to amazing customer service we received last week. As previously mentioned the happy hour here is great! I continue to highly recommend coming here during those hours as the deals are amazing. I came by once again last week and I was amazed! Everyone working were extremely friendly but our server Cordelia stood out. I have never been to any establishment where I've had someone so attentive! Kudos to Cordelia!

I went during happy hour and the deals were great! The cheese curd portion was huge compared to the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken was pretty dry but the horseradish aioli with the cheese curds was amazing. I sat at the bar and the service was wonderful. Lexi, Miranda, Juan, and Eric were all great bartenders. I'll definitely be back.

Second visit and the service was exceptional - we loved the food and the cocktails. Looking forward to returning for more!

One of our favorite spots - great menu options, great service, and everything we have tried has been delicious! From apps to salads to steaks. And we have never waited longer than a minute before being seated. There's plenty of space with various seating options - tables, booths, bar, high top tables, etc. And great music and ambiance.

For some reason this restaurant doesn't have the ability to split a bill past three people. Music was way too loud; had to shout to communicate with anyone. Food was medium.

That's the results of what happens to be amazing food and a great customer service experience.. We went on a Friday and put out name on the wait list before we arrived.. (an absolute must ) They are always crowded for Happy Hour. The building is beautiful and bathrooms are clean. They never seem to have a dirty floor as the clean up soon as a client leaves their table. I love their beer.. I only get a few of the same as I'm scared to waste .. but they do offer samples .. Overall a great experience with this place since they have been in Bakersfield. I'll need to go during dinner to see what they are really like. But Happy hour is when to go .. The food ... Boneless Wings, Blackened Shrimp, Chicken strips, and gardein wings Fish and Chips, Wisconsin cheese curds, Spicy Tuna Stack, and a Cali Roll Stack(to die for)

First time eating here. We had the brussel sprouts, guacamole and chips, tomato bisque soup, Firecracker shrimp with a house salad. The house salad was beautiful w homemade croutons. They use quality ingredients. What we loved most was they have an automated app and drink's ordering system. It was amazing. Need a refill? Just press re order drinks. Everything came out fast too. The person who had the tomato soup said that it was the best she's ever had.

I love yard house anytime, this time I tried something a little different as an appetizer. I tried the tuna stack. It was honestly whatever would I get it again? No and the reason is because it didn't have much flavor to it(I know it's not supposed to but I was hoping it would) I would rate it a 7/10

I'm writing this review as an older gentleman arguing with the staff sits next to me. You rat bats charged me for 3 when I had two. So here's your $7.49 review. The burger and service was good. Charging patrons extra for drinks they didn't have (myself included) is horse sh&$. Deuces

Sooo yummy and so worth it. Our server was great and attentive, shoutout to Alexis! I couldn't taste the alcohol in pineapple express, so if you like a sweet drink, get this one! Poke nachos are good as always. I got extra sauce on the side (free of charge!!) Overall 5/5 experience. The vibe here is great for socializing and catching up with friends. They play sports on the big TVs and music.

I got the Whiskey salmon and House salad and it was amazing. I'm a picky foodie and this place never disappoints! Matt is the chef and did a great job! Juan was my waiter and was very kind and attentive. I come here often and it's always is a great place to eat! I highly recommend!

I tried to get a meal here yet again. It's normally so crowded the wait is forever so I thought, 4pm would be a great time. The place was only about 1/4 full with plenty of empty tables so I figured it would be sweet. But no - they told me I needed to wait 5-10 minutes so they could clean a table. I said but there are plenty of clean tables - that didn't convince them to seat me so I told them I'd eat somewhere else and left. Never again.

Hannah was my pleasant & prompt server. She was attentive and helpful. The staff seems to be well trained. They have a vast variety of beers. They are Located in The Shops at River Walk near Old River Road. Their menu features over 100 American-style dishes made from scratch daily, and the world's largest selection of draft beer with 110 taps. They serve lunch, dinner, happy hour and late night dining. Classic rock plays in the background. For the sports fans there are TV's everywhere you look. The interior is dark & industrial. I ordered Miguel's queso dip. I was underwhelmed. The top of the dip was on the verge of being burnt. The flavor was meh The corn chips were store bought and not all tasty. With tax it was $15.14.

Ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich, Wife ordered the chicken sandwich, and son ordered boneless wings... all 3 meals outstanding Our server was on point and service was fast, efficient, and perfect. Inside was great with plenty of TV's. Highly recommend

It's a nice place to hang out and have drinks. This place is always busy, and expect to wait to be seated. They don't take reservations. I got the shrimp jambalaya. It is not the best i had, but it was ok. The tuna tartar appetizer was really good.

Yard house is one of my top three sports bars! I came here for some beers with the hubby. The service was 5/5 staff are friendly and fast. As far as the ambiance it's was kinda slow on Monday night; which we didn't mind at all. Appetizers are really great along with a draft beer. I order the poke nachos and spicy tuna stack did not disappoint. It's my always my favorite to order when I want to eat light and still enjoy my beer. Will I recommend? Yes Price? Moderate

This place is really a hit! It's become a regular quick date night spot for my husband and I. They have a wonderful happy hour where they include appetizers at half price! We have tried several dishes over our visits there and have never been disappointed. The staff are always super friendly and accommodating. One thing is that usually the music is really loud ( doesn't bother us too much but it's something to note) I always recommend joining the waitlist as this place is pretty happening in the evenings. Their poke nachos are phenomenal! Their pizzas perfectly cooked and super delicious! Sweet potato fries a MUST! My husbands a big fan of their seared ahi tuna slices Boneless wings are super good too. Honestly give it a try for yourself it's not your typical bar food.

The food here is ok. I personally don't like the place, but my daugher does. She gets the wings. I got a burger here and thought it was alright. The service is hit or miss. Place has a good vibe, good to come in for some drinks.

HAPPY HOUR DEALS I couldn't have been happier with their happy hour deals, we got a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, spinach dip and two beers for under $30!! Our service was great, the waitress helped us choose bevause we were stuck between dips, and just kept checking up on us. I wish they changed the music up a bit to be more universal but I guess country and rock will do! We have tried their cocktails and they're great, some of the bartenders have a heavy hand because pheww we have left with a great buzz.

OH MY GOSH!!!! The food was amazing! Started with some drinks and calamari. Then ordered our main dish I ordered the steak bowl! Way better than expected! It was amazing, the portion was perfect! The ambience was lit! The service was a 100/10 yes 100/10! Our server Dominic was amazing ! A smile the entire time didn't seem stressed was very chill with a smile! And Eric the manager came to say hi and check on us! That was amazing! Great job Eric staff looks happy!

Great food! We went during happy hour, which is 3-6pm, where selected appetizers are half-off! We were seated immediately and used the little tablet thingy to order. Loud, fun environment! Lots of TVs in every corner of the restaurant with different sports channels displayed. We got one order of Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Poke Nachos, and Carnivore Pizza. It was all so yummy and we ate it very quickly but deliciously !!

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! We had a little bit of everything on the menu and all the food was cooked well and delicious. The atmosphere is really relaxed and it caters to everyone. We had kids with us and didn't feel out of place at all. Definitely will Go back. The drinks and bartenders were really great as well, highly recommend!

I live 39 miles away from this place but went today and I was so impressed by the service... Emma greeted us at the door and opened it for me and my sister Myra' whose in a wheelchair and had a big smile on her face and was so sweet and she was so genuinely kind. Our server Miguel G. Was also amazing and gave us great info on the menu... food was absolutely bomb. When we left Emma was right there again to open both doors for Myra and I. I can't tell you how much that meant to Myra and I.. we will be back not just for the food but for the friendliness and the sincere welcome we felt from Emma and Miguel G. We will be going here from now on.. thanks again Emma and Miguel G.

I really do think they need to start taking reservations. I mean you can join their waitlist but making a reservation is just easier. We celebrated my SIL bday last night, and the service was great! I believe out of all the times we've came here, which is a lot, the service has only been bad once. The food is always good. It's a disappointment that they took their Korean bbq short ribs off the menu and the guacamole is so small for the price they charge.

Sunday is a very busy day but service and food was good our server was attentive and food was served hot. Though it was noisy was still able to hear over the excitement of the games

Every time I come here it's too crowded with long waits and the music is super loud. Not all Yard Houses are like this as I've been to them in LA and Las Vegas. The couple of times I have actually decided to wait and eat there, the food is just so-so. I'm not sure if it's a location issue or what as I used to really enjoy their food at other locations. Perhaps the recipes have changed but the lettuce wraps just aren't as good as they used to be. Love and learn.

Amazing service the food was amazing. I had a great service. The restrooms were clean. My server was really nice pleasant and it wasn't too loud and crowded as it can be on Sundays but it was really nice.

Quite the happening modern pub/bar/restaurant in the growing city of Bakersfield. Located in the confines of a planned community, Yard House sticks out as a popular drinking hole and restaurant for the unimaginative. They deliver a consistent menu and quite the beer list for lager and ale lovers. Always a fan favorite, weekends are packed with regulars that include all ages. When I say busy, it may not quite describe the atmosphere well. The music is very loud and sometimes feels like an echo chamber. The food menu is long and very well encompassing. The traditional bar grub is consistently good. Burgers and Chops are made to your preference. Appetizers are designed for the drinking affair to cut through the fats. For good measure, there are some salads to offer the balancing act. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. Extra kudos to them for making the extra effort and keeping the tables turning over.

Unfortunately today's experience was not as good as our previous visit. We had a small party of 4 today and ordered from the Happy Hour menu. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza again and it was just as good as before, but my wife ordered the boneless wings and she was very disappointed. The lemon pepper rub was way too salty even after asking for it to be lightly seasoned, and the BBQ sauce wings were underwhelming and we have had much better. We were very excited to see they added a lava cake for dessert so we ordered that to try it out and were also underwhelmed. The lava itself was good, but the cake flavor tasted like a fake chocolate and there wasn't enough lava filling. Also, I ordered a coke to drink, but it got brought out and tasted like cherry coke so I asked for a new one and the new one tasted more like water than Coke. I ended up just ordering a Shirley temple instead and that was okay. Our service was still great, but the food definitely fell short today.

It is way too loud in there you will barely get to have a conversation without screaming but other than that It was packed on a Saturday and Friday and food was great!! Amazing sashimi. You'll most likely wait an hour or more for a table but it is very nice inside as well.

After many visits, I have concluded that our local Yard House is actually pretty good! I get it, it's a chain restaurant and big chains have somewhat of a bad rep but honestly, the food is pretty good! The variety is great. They have an extensive list of beers (duh! lol) including PLENTY of local brews, which is pretty cool. I have eaten all different types of food and have been pretty impressed. They get busy but are usually pretty fast to seat a 4-person party. The TVs all around are guaranteed to have the Dodgers game if they're playing too! Score! My kiddos like the kids menu options so that's a plus as well. Not bad Yard House. I'm surprised and thoroughly impressed. Good job!

Stopped in for lunch and the place was half empty. We were greeted and seated right away. Got our drinks and food and everything was great. What I didn't realize about Yard House, is that they expect you to leave as soon as you pay. We were having a nice conversation, and a worker interrupted us, asked if they could bag up our leftovers, took every last utensil and glass off the table, apologizing for interrupting our conversation. We were bewildered, thought maybe they close between lunch and dinner. At this time there were less than 5 tables seated and it was about 2:30 pm. I guess we were keeping others from being served? No, the place was empty. We left dazed and confused.

So we ate here last night, on what was one of the busiest days, per our AMAZING server! Didn't get his name, but African American gentleman with one of the best table side attire I've ever had in a restaurant! SUPER busy, but he still managed to fill our drinks and was very attentive to our needs! If the the review was only about him it would be enough to return again! This was our first time at Yard House, after my daughter graduated high school, and we had to wait about an hour for a table, but it was worth it! My girls have never asked to go here before as I've asked them repeatedly since it opened here in Bako, but they kept saying no. I finally got them talked into going because it was one of the only places open after 10p, which was after the graduation. Anyway to the food....IT WAS one of the BEST places we've ever eaten! I've had places WAY more expensive than here and would come back here over many of them!! My girls had Whiskey salmon and Sesame crusted Ahi tuna and I think they enjoyed their food maybe more than I did, which is quite an accomplishment!! The Ahi dish maybe be the best version of that dish we've EVER had, in dozens of other restaurants!!! Rest of the food was amazing and we will definitely be back! Hopefully we'll get the same server, again he was amazing. Wish we remembered his name. We sat in the booth right by the food entry computers..... Thanks again!

Food was good. I went basic with a BLT and the kids hit the kids menu. Restaurant was very nice. Had a trendy feel and a ton of beers on tap. They were packed. Took 20 minutes or so to get us seated and another 20 or so to get our food ordered. The food came out about 45 minutes later. Not impressed with the wait. Food was ok but mostly fried bar foods. I don't think I'll be back.

The food is always great my husband got the jambalaya and it was spicy but not too hot it's his favorite dish here and I had the kale and Brussels sprouts salad with blackened chicken it's my favorite and I eat 9/10 times when we come here The service is always excellent and every waitress/waiter we have had has always been great The ambience is clean and update. I just love the chill vibe
