Budget Vegas: How to Save Money in Las Vegas in 2025

"I noted The Yard House as another multi-location option for reverse happy hour deals, so popping into one of its outlets late at night can be an easy way to get cheaper food and drinks after shows." - Matthew Kepnes

I was absolutely impressed with the Yard House from the minute I walked in till I walked out. The drinks were amazing & the steak bowl was so delicious. The other dish was stacked enchiladas. If you go to Cincinnati & don't go to Yard House your missing out

Great service and ambiance! Comfortable booth seating complete with 360° TV and skyline views 🕶️ The menu offerings - delicious and varied. It even offered en menu drink pairings. There was something for every palette.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it will also be my last. The food was disappointing. I ordered a burger, which I knew might not be the best choice, but I expected it to be tasty. Unfortunately, it was salty and tasted stale. The service was poor as well. I asked the waiter for some tabasco sauce, and although he said he would bring it, he forgot. When I reminded him, he claimed I hadn’t asked for it. He also seemed a bit upset and blamed the loud TV for the misunderstanding. Additionally, the soft drinks were supposed to be refillable, but not once did he come by to ask if we wanted anything or if our food was okay.

Had a great experience. The food and atmosphere was great. My hubby enjoyed his steak and my son had salmon salad. My espresso martini was the best I've had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Google
Perfect pregame vibes—fun, lively atmosphere that got us hyped for the game! The servers were absolutely fantastic—friendly, fast, and on point. We loved everything about it and can’t wait to go back! 🙌⚾🍻

I’ve been to the Yard House in Cincinnati and also the one in Indy, and honestly, I love this place for the vibe and some of the appetizers. The Brussels sprouts are a standout—absolute perfection every time. Crispy, flavorful, and probably my favorite thing on the menu. I ordered the Cajun jambalaya with jasmine rice, shrimp, and crawdads. It was okay—decent but not amazing. I expected it to be spicier and a bit more saucy; it felt a little dry and underwhelming for a dish that should pack some punch. We also had hamburgers. Nothing to write home about—just basic. The bacon on one was burnt, which definitely didn’t help. Overall, the place is still a win for me because of the atmosphere and some consistently good small plates like the Brussels sprouts, but the entrees felt a little “meh” on this visit.

Food was good, good menu friendly staff and great atmosphere! They were slammed when we went and service was still excellent and polite. Great beers on tap and huge selection.

Some of the best food ive ever had. We ordered the margherita pizza and nashville hot chicken sandwich. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My friend and I came here for dinner the day after Thanksgiving. She has several serious allergies including tree nut, celiacs, and dairy. Or server, Kanada, and the manager (sorry, didn't catch his name) both went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary needs. From showing her how to access the gluten free menu on the table tablet, to confirming ingredients with the kitchen before putting in her order. Plus Kanada was super sweet and friendly. He made is laugh and feel so at home the entire time. Also my restriction free entree was delicious!! We'll definitely be back whenever we're in downtown again!

Yelp
My group of nine people ate here for lunch doing a break from visiting museums. We only had to wait a few minutes for the staff to set up tables to accommodate our large group. Our server was AMAZING! She was friendly, down to earth, talkative and served our large group without help from other staff. Our drink orders and food orders were all correct. There were no mistakes or changes at all. Like I said our server was amazing. For instance, our group had a 91 yr old lady, whom the server treated especially well. All of the dishes were presented well, the portion sizes were adequate-to-large and the flavors were delicious. No one in our party had any complaints or concerns at all. The atmosphere of this upscale sports bar/restaurant was inviting, the large TVs had closed captions (which I love at any public place) and the views of Cincinnati's bridges and waterfront were pleasing Overall, this restaurant and staff provided a great dining experience for our large family.

Yelp
Talk about amazing!!!! The service, the food, and the ambiance! Phenomenal service! The food was delicious! Especially the chicken nachos best we've ever had!! Tacos were beyond delicious! Fruit was crispy and sweet! Sooooo much food!!!

Yelp
I wish i could order ten things every time.... The seating, views, staff, food, drinks.... Could not complain once.

Yelp
They have got to have the best happy hour in Cincinnati! Half off appetizers from 3-6! and they are still full sized you can't beat that! We were sat and our waitress was so kind. She ensured that we had everything that we needed while enjoying our girls day! I love there large tables making it perfect for big parties or those people that order the whole menu! Beautiful space and and great views of the river. They even have a heated patio for when it gets cold out.

Yelp
First time dining here. An office ordered lunch from here, so I picked it up. It was dead when I arrived but it quickly became busy. While I waited for my order, I could see a large group of people standing at the door waiting to be seated. It took forever for those people, which was surprising since the restaurant was dead. The food was okay. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. My food was very under cooked, so I couldn't say I was that impressed.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice location with easy access underneath with the parking garage. I like the interior of the place and find the service to be decent. Food was tasty and we had a nice time. The only thing I could complain about it was how dark it was inside the place when we went.
google avatar

Shelly J.

Yelp
I love visiting different YH locations. This one was no different. I came here for their nachos ...a quick bite to eat and was delicious. Service was great and bathrooms were clean. Close to the banks!
google avatar

Mari B.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place. The rice cake and the shrimp played well together... tacos were delicious and I love that you can mix them. The dip was creamy with a touch of spice... it wasn't too watery like most cheese dips and very good. The service is ok. Location and views are good!
google avatar

Yelp
Ambiance is cool and casual with quick service. Unfortunately the kids pizza was a bit underdone and my daughter didn't want to eat it bc it was mushy. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was a little Smokey for my liking and the baked beans added an odd flavor to the salad. Very spacious and outdoor seating also available.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a nice dinner with some coworkers at Yard House last night. It was easy walking from downtown. It was nice and cool inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had some people arrive later but she kept coming over to offer drinks and food throughout. I enjoyed my watermelon margarita and there's of course a nice selection of beers. They also have a really nice selection of salads and entrees for pescatarians. I went with the crunchy tuna salad and was very happy with it.

Yelp
We went here before the reds game. We were from out of town and you can't have a bag at the game. I have long hair and it was HOT out. When we sat I was burning hot. I asked my server if she could possibly bring me a rubber band if they had any. The manager located me a hair tie and I was soooo thankful. We have many drinks they were perfectly made and our meals were fresh and wonderful. This place not only goes above and beyond for their customers nut the food and drinks is sooo delicious.

Yelp
It's good to know how to time that this is one of those places that is always high traffic. Always tons of people going in and out. It's close to the stadiums and when there are games happening and whenever there is a festival like pride or Oktoberfest, it's going to be slammed. So we did try to come here during one of the festivals and even though it was busy like crazy, we did get in within about 40 minutes. The staff seems to be doing their very best with all the crowds. But our server Lauren was amazing and she made sure that we were taking care of. We were always made to feel that she was there if we needed her. Food was actually pretty good. I would consider a place like this to probably not be always good with the food because they're just relying on high traffic but it's been good both times have been here. You can get a lot of food too depending on exactly what you want.

Yelp
This place is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. We had a large party of 11 people during the week and it was not very crowded. The service was below par, but they were very nice (drinks took a long time or had to be asked for a couple times). They had great appetizer specials until 6:30 and that came out super fast, and we actually got the apps before any of our drinks??? I got the Spicy Jambalaya and the dish was pretty good! For dessert, got the bread pudding which comes with ice cream and it was average (not my favorite). They have a full bar with a TON of beers on tap which was impressive. With the proximity to both stadiums this is a great choice on game day.

Yelp
I really like this place, we came on New Year's Eve and it was a great atmosphere. Service was good. We went during, happy hour so all drinks appetizers and pizzas were half off. We were already planning on getting pizza and appetizer so it was perfect ! We got the carnivore pizza which was very good. The dough was soft and chewy and airy and the toppings were perfect. We got the crispy brussel sprouts as well. It had a gochujang sauce on it, which was a milder almost Asian but not quite type sauce with a vinegar aïoli on the side. I know it sounds weird, but it was actually really good. I'm definitely coming back here.

Yelp
Overall, our experience at Yardhouse was great. I count calories and appreciate when a restaurant has calorie counts on their menu. The view was gorgeous, and the service was thorough and prompt. We most definitely will be going again.

Yelp
1 of the best chain restaurants for the entire family for a nice intimate and affordable sit down meal. And the sports on the tv's, full bar and the massive world class beer selection are the icing on the cake
google avatar

Anton K.

Yelp
Yard House is a chain restaurant. It has an upscale yet casual sports bar vibe. Located within eye shot of the Great American Ball Park (Cincinnati Reds) and Paycom Stadium (Cincinnati Bengals), the Yard House is a watering hole for devotes before the game opening at 11am and after the game closing at 11 pm. Choose from 100 beers on tap while listing to classic rock. Their food menu is EXTENSIVE and includes vegetarian options. It's mostly American fare. Happy Hour features deep discounts on food and drinks. All that said, I was here at 11 am just to get out of the rain. I was walking around the Banks area taking in the sights when the rain came pouring down and nothing else was open. So after being seated, I ordered a Yuengling draft ($3.75) in a completely empty bar/restaurant area and Poke Nachos ($16.49). Yuengling beer is my favorite and the Poke Nachos were fresh, properly seasoned and loaded with a variety of vegetables including avocado.. Needless to say that service was not an issue (LOL).

Yelp
Came here for a double date with friends. The couple happened to be plant-based, and YH had several options for them to choose from. Firstly, those Brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. I ordered the tacos, and two left me satisfied. I also ordered a cosmo, and it was the cutest. It was a little pricey but not unexpected given the location.
google avatar

Brieyanna B.

Yelp
This was my first time at Yard House to eat and the best thing we ordered were the chicken wings. If you look at the picture you can tell we reached for the wings before I had a chance to take the picture. The chicken nachos were pretty good had like a chipotle sauce on the chicken that gave it some nice flavor. The Kurobuta pork sandwich was okay. Definitely needed a sauce to add flavor. Was supposed to Come with blueberry ketchup that I asked for on the side and didn't receive. Also was supposed to have spicy candied bacon on it but it was nothing spicy or candied about the bacon that was on my sandwich.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Amazing selection of beers on tap and great appetizers/ happy hour food. I had my favorite - the spicy tuna stack appetizer - and a house salad - made for a great lunch along with a couple Belgian wit beers. Everyone else enjoyed their food also and service was fast friendly knowledgeable accurate and efficient.
google avatar

Yelp
I was very disappointed in the food. My vodka pasta needed more sauce and was bland. The burger and fries needed help. The drinks were nothing to write home about

Yelp
We went to the Yard House to celebrate my husband's birthday. We could not make a reservation on this Saturday night but we did find out after we got there you could text ahead and get on the waitlist. That is what we would do next time but this time we just got in line and waited luckily we got there early at 5:00 p.m. for dinner and the wait wasn't too long. Our waiter came by and introduced himself and took our drink order while we looked at the menu. I ordered a peach martini and the hubby ordered a beer. My drink was good and sweet. We placed our dinner order and then the long long wait began. It took a little over an hour for our order to come out. When our meal finally made it to the table it was good. For dinner I ordered the Ahi Tuna crunch salad and the Brussels appetizer and my hubby ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Other than the long wait for the food to come out I would definitely recommend this place. The food was good and the cocktails were good and our waiter apologized for the wait and was attentive!

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night after a Yelp event. Good service and nice atmosphere overseeing the small park. We got the spinich dip n chips and onion rings as appertizers. Both got small dinner salads which were large. I got the Tuna which were giant and my wife got the chicken kale caesar. It was pouring when we left and they gave us large garbage bags to use for ponchos. Very nice.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday lunch and had Rachel as our server she was absolutely amazing! She is the best! Great conversation and amazing service the steak was amazing and cooked perfectly

Anna J.

Yelp
The waiters have nasty attitudes. Their facial expressions show as if they don't want to be here at work. Communication is terrible! Multiple mistakes made within my party. Isaiah was our waiter and he absolutely did not satisfy us.

Yelp
Best atmosphere when visiting Cincinnati. Amazing food and great selection of drinks on tap!

Yelp
Date night with friends. Great atmosphere. Nice location. We had to wait for a bit for our party of 4 to get seated, even though there were PLENTY of open tables. Hostess was not very friendly and acted very put out when we asked for a table with better air flow on a super hot day. We actually had to wait longer since we wanted a different table. Our server was an older lady and was SUPER NICE. She was the friendliest person there. Service was a little slow because she had so many tables, but we didn't mind because she was so nice. Food was good. Do yourself a favor and get the asian noodle dish (can't remember the name). It was the best thing we had!!!
google avatar

Shawn L.

Yelp
Service was good. Nice atmosphere. Food was great. I had a Paloma and truffle fries with aioli and enjoyed every single fry! Everyone else in our party had good things to say about their meals and drinks, too.

Yelp
Great service from our waitress who was happy to show us how the kiosk computer works but was also more than happy to interact with us old fogeys IRL. Nice to be able to order immediately and then later, split the check easily without having to deal with her later. Nachos were excellent. I'm really impressed when a place knows to make the stack of chips wide but not tall so that you don't end up with a bunch of chips that don't have any stuff on them. This was perfectly done and the cheese was melted nicely. Truffle fries were also excellent. Hot, crispy, perfectly cooked. Great for dipping in the mayo and then I asked for some sriracha ketchup. Yum! I'm glad there wasn't a sporting event tonight as I found parking less than two blocks away and there was no wait. My only complaint is that they didn't have any tables with power outlets to charge up my phone. [Review 20468 overall - round number 200 in Ohio - 1448 of 2023.]

Yelp
Came here after a Reds game. They were open late and really busy but we were seated right away. Our server came pretty quickly to take our drink orders. I ordered unsweetened tea with no lemon. I got sweet tea with lemon. I sent it back and got sweet tea with no lemon. Being a diabetic this was not good. I finally just ordered water. The tea was not taken off the bill. We asked the server some questions about my wife's food allergy and he said" I don't think there are those peppers", " you should be ok". This is a life threatening allergy and not verifying really wasn't an option. We both ordered the carne asada tacos. They were amazing but really small. Steak with poblano pepper, avocado and Cilantro. Beans and spicy rice came on the side. The beans were not mashed and refried but served whole in their own gravy, really good. The rice was not spicy and was dry, almost inedible. The poor review is less about the flavor of the food but more about the serving amount and the mediocre service. There are a lot of options right here and we expected better.
google avatar

Steve M.

Yelp
Came here for their birthday deal....get a free app with main item! Got the Cilantro Lime Chicken and the fried calamari....Loved both of them! Here's a fun fact for everyone: most places just cut the calamari into the rings and serve!...@YardHouse, they include the tentacles! (Makes everything good. Also, not wasting any part of the squid!)...I would definitely come here before/after a reds or bengals game; as well as date nights!

Yelp
Located at The Banks, Yard House offers a dynamic dining experience that seamlessly combines a diverse menu, extensive beverage selection, and vibrant ambiance. Catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences, Yard House stands out as a popular destination for both casual dining and lively gatherings. The atmosphere at Yard House strikes a balance between casual dining and energetic social hub. The interior is stylishly designed with modern decor, featuring a spacious layout, patio seating, and a welcoming bar area. Vibrant lighting adds to the lively ambiance, making it an inviting space for patrons looking to enjoy a meal or gather with friends over drinks. Yard House excels in its culinary offerings, boasting a menu that spans various cuisines and caters to diverse dietary preferences. Appetizers like the classic "Chicken Nachos" and "Four Cheese Spinach Dip" set the tone for a satisfying meal. Main courses range from juicy burgers and fresh salads to flavorful seafood dishes, each prepared with quality ingredients and attention to presentation. One of Yard House's standout features is its extensive selection of draft beers, featuring over 100 taps showcasing local craft brews, seasonal favorites, and international labels. Beer aficionados will appreciate the restaurant's commitment to freshness and variety, ensuring there's something to suit every palate. Service at Yard House is consistently attentive and friendly. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu offerings and beer selections, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring prompt service throughout the meal. This attentive approach contributes to a positive dining experience and reflects the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction. My favorite time to visit is during Happy Hour Monday - Friday from 3pm - 6pm. Yard House offers 1/2 off select appetizers and all pizzas along with $2 off beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. Most of their appetizers can even count as a whole meal with how large the portion sizes are so you are definitely getting your bang for your buck. I enjoy the cheese pizza and truffle fries.

Yelp
Came here with a group of 8 late afternoon and were easily seated. This restaurant is right near the river so views out the windows are gorgeous. And if you don't care about the views outside, there's plenty of sports that can be watched on the tv screens. One of the best parts of eating here was the service of our server Anthony, super attentive and friendly. I got the double decker blt sandwich, very yummy- bacon was cooked perfectly, only had a little trouble with it falling apart as I tried to eat it. My dad got the cheesesteak and thought it was pretty good, except there was a piece of fat that made it in. Others in our group got the Brooke for dessert and they RAVED about it, that it was the best they'd ever had.

Yelp
So I decided to have thanksgiving at yard house this year, instead of cooking for only 6 people, We showed up earlier than our reservation and no issues with that they sat us quickly. After that the visit just continued to get worse, after waiting for 20 minutes for the waitress to even come to our table. Mind you it wasn't busy at all, she then came and got our drink order, appetizer order and food order all at once, then she only came to our table 1 other time to fill our drinks. When I got my bill I expected it to be high around $250. I had no issue giving a good tip for a good waitress but I felt the service was sub par at best, then she held the table pad while I paid which was weird to me but after that I still gave her a tip, she freaked out and told my family and I we should have stayed home and not came to yard house. LOL. We have been to yard house a ton of times we have never had this happen before. Very dissatisfied with this visit.
google avatar

Ben A.

Yelp
My wife and I have come here a few times now and each time we are reminded we should come more often. I enjoy the large beer selection, and she continues to enjoy the range of appetizers and solid food options. The staff have always made good suggestions to us and provide great service throughout our meals. We tend to find meals we can share, and the fish and chips hasn't missed yet.
google avatar

Meera K.

Yelp
We had a great experience over a Sunday lunch here. There was a reds game so the wait was around 45 mins but if you check in online and put your name down in advance it'll help! We ordered the nachos with gardein, very shareable and still had some to take home Orange gardein chikn with spicy rice really tasty, wish there were more vegetables though. Truffle fries with all the dipping sauces. Our fave was the bbq and garlic aioli. The black pepper sauce wasn't as good as we thought. Perfect spot while down at the banks, massive beer selection and plenty of seating!
google avatar

Robert D.

Yelp
My family and I came here ultimately to grab a beer, and our experience was just like any other Yard House - as advertised, and up to the company's standards I presume. They had a good beer I like but never find on tap - New Holland Dragon's Milk, and the service was friendly and prompt - despite our orders getting messed up a time or two. The atmosphere is great, as always, and the food was great, as always. I will make it a point to come back again someday, it was worth every penny!
google avatar

Kimberly T.

Yelp
This was my first visit to YH and I enjoyed the experience. The staff was great with all smiles and energy. I went during lunch time on Friday during the setup for the music festival. It wasn't crowded so there was no wait. I ordered the garlic lobster noodles garden salad and bread pudding. I enjoyed it all. I was super hungry, but I could only eat a portion a f the pasta, so I took the rest home. I do recommend YH for anyone looking for a comfortable environment. You can eat at the bar, at a high top or regular table with or booth. I hope you enjoy.
google avatar

Carren A.

Yelp
Food and drinks here are very good as they have a huge menu and a lot of beer options. The only downside is that the wait can be long and when it is busy the service can be quite slow. The happy hour also doesn't apply to game days.
google avatar

Grace G.

Yelp
3.5 The waitress was very nice and helpful. We were seated and served quickly. The food was good and I would go back but it's not anything I would rave about. Next time I'm in town I would definitely give this place another try.
google avatar

Lucy B.

Yelp
YUM! I have heard this place was hit or miss but I must have picked a hit! Had the truffle cheese burger with tasty fries, do delicious and savory. Came here with 8 friends, we were promptly sat with a good view and an attentive server who filled out waters frequently. Their checkout system is nice too, it's all done on an electronic so that made our experience better for a big party paying separately. Thanks Yard House!!
google avatar

Raquel L.

Yelp
I was pretty excited to try this place, but I have to be honest and put an honest review. I was highly disappointed. The server was extremely nice and friendly, but did not keep up with our refills. The serving size of the spinach dip was almost a joke. There was enough dip for maybe 7 tortilla chips and they give you a whole plate of these chips but nowhere close enough dip for them. I got there Buffalo boneless wings, and they were horrible. They were very dry and had a Grizzly texture to them. I couldnt even eat them. The fries tasted old. My husband got the SzeChuan noodles ($25!) and he was not impressed with those either. He said they were not horrible, but they're not enough to make him want to go back. It seems like they give very small portions for the average person to get full. I'm honestly giving 3 stars because our server was very cool and nice. It kind of has a Butterbees vibe to it, but not near as good, and too overpriced!
google avatar

Penelope J.

Yelp
It clearly said "mocktail" in ALL caps... why can't I get it, like if it's an alcoholic drink then don't tell me it's a mocktail. I don't need an ID for a mocktail. It's SUPPOSED to be made without alcohol. Not with a trace of alcohol... like this is false advertisement. Like stop making them with alcohol if they are mocktails. Us underage people don't have ID's of 21 just for a damn mocktail. Like this is so annoying and making people feel like they're being ripped off. Because of this I had to order a shirltemple. Like I'm speechless and annoyed at this so much. All I wanted was a MOCKTAIL and couldn't even get it. Me and my sister wanted to drink our mocktails while our grandparents drunk their alcohol. 1 star, wouldn't come back until I'm 21 unless they fix the mocktail issue. Goodbye yardhouse in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Yelp
What a sandwich we had pre game. The Korean cheese steak is masterfully done with flavors galore. Service was fast and efficient.
google avatar

Yelp
After an amazing Disney on Ice show we wanted a steak and I found Yard House on Yelp. I want honesty on Yelp and I'm gonna give it so here's my honest review. The staff were super nice and the 2 ** are no reflection on the service because it was great. We ordered the Steak Bowl, Filet, Kids Mac-n-cheese, and Kids Pepperoni Pizza. Our food was barely warm. The Steak Bowl that I ordered was overly sauced and took over the flavor of the steak. My sister ordered the filet and it was super tough and cold. The macaroni and cheese was tasteless. The pepperoni pizza was good. We all ended up taking a couple bites. We were so hungry we grazed at what we could and called it a day. In a nutshell, if you want a loud, dark environment to enjoy craft beer and cocktails go here. Otherwise I would pick another place.

Yelp
Stopped in the an appetizer and glass of wine after the tour of the Freedom Center and before pedicures. We are celebrating Mother's Day on Saturday. Vegan options from a vegan menu. Glad to see so many choices. Woman who served us wax great. I didn't get her name but she took great care of us especially since we had limited time.

Yelp
Service was excellent, quick and attentive! Food was a little cold, but my server returned it and for the issue gave me a free dessert!

Yelp
Why would there even be a MOCKtail menu if they have alcohol in them anyways?? False advertising, I just wanted a NON alcoholic Piña Spritz because I am not of age, but I will be in the future. This place is not age inclusive and I am extremely dissatisfied. Also, because of that I ordered a Shirley temple and it's more like a SHITley temple it did not come with a cherry nor did it even tast good I have gotten better BOTTLED Shirley temples. All I wanted was to feel included and have a mocktail while my grandparents drank their alchoholic beverages, but instead I am sitting here repulsed by this shitley temple after I got I GOT ID'D FOR A MOCKTAIL. 1 star, would not come back even if I was dying of starvation. (Until I am 21 and can order a damn MOCKtail)
