Visited a couple of times and the kitchen is very consistent with the quality of their items. Everything is fresh, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Recommend for friends/family gatherings or even a quick date(can get a bit loud).

It was my first time going to this place. Environment is nice, the whole place seemed clean. Service was timely. The food was not my typical menu but I went to try something different.. the Miguel’s queso appetizer was bomb! Firecracker shrimp was also good BUT did not beat the queso one! steak bowl had literally 5 pieces of meat. The Thai grilled pork chop plate was alright, the pork chop was juicy and had a nice flavor to it but it had TOO much of the vegetables and fried cauliflower rice.. so did the steak bowl. But like I say everyone had different experiences and different tastebuds! Nice experience overall. Service was very good from my waitress.

I can’t recommend Yard House enough! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and came out fresh and hot. The service was on another level. Ted, Blake, and Lori were all incredible and truly made us feel cared for, but honestly the entire team was so kind and attentive. I’ve been to many different restaurants, and I can honestly say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Yard House made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and it wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience we’ll never forget. If you’re thinking about going, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed!

TLDR: good food, good service. I came a little after happy hour(party of 1). Even though the restaurant was starting to get a little busy I was sat very quickly and greeted quickly by my server. The service was efficient and he was very good at anticipating my needs. I ordered two happy hour menu items the mushroom Pizza and Beef sliders and it was a lot of food. Hot, fresh, and yummy.

I loved every single thing we ate and the service was perfect. All the staff was very attentive. Everything was very clean. My new favorite restaurant in the area!

I came all the way from Houston, and it was an amazing experience here at Yard House! The food was excellent, and I’ll definitely be coming back. But honestly, what made it even better was our waitress, Sasha Gallegos — she was absolutely incredible. Words can’t even describe how helpful, respectful, and uplifting she was. Her positive energy truly made our visit special. I’ll be coming back not just for the food, but for the outstanding service and atmosphere she helped create.

Marc absolutely made our experience at Yard House unforgettable! From the moment he greeted us, his energy and professionalism stood out. He was attentive without ever being overbearing, knew the menu inside and out, and gave excellent recommendations that hit the spot. Drinks came out quickly, food was timed perfectly, and he checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell Marc genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. If you’re coming to Yard House, ask for Marc—you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by Yard House for a beer while waiting around at the mall. Even though it was pretty busy, the bartenders were on top of things -- they kept the bar clean and wiped down and were friendly and attentive the whole time. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the music, which made it a relaxing and enjoyable spot to hang out for a bit. Great service and good vibes

Large sports bar / eaterie in a modern mall alongside a major highway Lots of TVs with different sporting events showing Service was sloppy - our server was a rooky and had not been trained adequately, making mistakes that he was embarrassed about Food was average or below expectations I was disappointed and probably won't return unless in a big crowd for beer and a major sporting event

We stopped by during a shopping outing and were so pleasantly surprised. There was a minor issue where a pen exploded and ink got on our hands while browsing the menu. The team there was apologetic and did their very best to make it good. Truly - they went above and beyond and were so accommodating. It wasn't a big problem, but they made it right. The food was great and the drinks were awesome.

Steak bowl is the best!!!! This restaurant has a fun vibe with quality food! Ask for Kayla at the bar! She is fantastic!

Great bar service & knowledge of the beers information. And also asked for Kona and Mango cart mix they had no hesitation serving my request.

Been awhile since i have visited a Yard house. We decided to try this one. First off-I can say the place is very nice and clean inside. Our waitress Myra was very attentive and was on her game. Service was excellent. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the pork chop- it was delicious! My coworker ordered the beef bowl. The drinks were great, overall experience was great.

Restaurant was warm. It was way too loud. The food was typical mediocre bar food. I got a Sichuan noodle plate that was too sweet and no soy sauce was given. My fault for order noodles a a bar place. But most disappointed in the beer. Great selection sure but not serve ice cold.

Great service! Went during happy hour prices which is half off pizzas and apps. For an appetizer, I had the fries and the Korean fried chicken. The chicken was very flavorful and delicious. Ordered the thin crusted BBQ chicken pizza which was the perfect size for me. They have a large beer selection. Had to celebrate with the seasonal Oktoberfest Schneider Weisse festweisse draft wheat beer. It was really smooth and paired well with the pizza. Such a great deal and great night out! Highly recommend!

Time and time again The yard House hits with banger after f*ing banger. I know when I touch those half yard door handles the stress will go away and I will transport to the beer tap heavens and be served a meal that would live up to the standards of the beer gods themselves. From the truffle fries to the David Bowie music videos. The "YH" (as the locals call it) does not disappoint. The "YH" is a way of life.

Visited the McAllen, TX venue with a friend. We sat at the bar. Servers were friendly but food was horrible. Started with a tortilla chicken soup, but there was no chicken and didn't resemble any tortilla soup I have ever had anywhere. It was more like chowder. Ordered Korean cheese steak sandwich with onion rings. Couldn't stomach more than two bites and two rings--the sandwich was inedible as it was like eating pure salt and the rings tasted as if they were cooked a day before. My friend's dish (garlic shiitake noodles) was so salty that she too couldn't eat it. The manager was friendly and removed the costs of the two dishes, but we left not even wanting to try anything else after the half-hour wait for those dishes. This is yet another overpriced, commercialized place with a very loud atmosphere geared more for a younger crowd whose palate is not too discerning. Certainly will not return. On a positive note, they have a remarkable beer selection but don't go for food.

Music playlist is amazing , great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more a date night.

One of favs. Everything I've tried on menu is delish. Today I ordered the Korean tacos. Gochujang sauce is added to these tacos and it just make them that much more yummy. Love the service, food, ambiance. It can be a place to go on a date, group of friends, celebration dinner, family gathering- anything really.

Server, Diego, food, service , atmosphere, and music was fantastic. The food is on point and drinks are just as great.

My husband and I enjoy going during their half priced appetizers! Truly worth the money for the amount of food. And it's super delicious. We've never had any trouble with their waitstaff, always on top of everything. Only critique is maybe have more lighting at the tables.

I was there last night with some friends for the game . I ordered the nachos but with beef and I asked the bartender can they make them fresh and she asked me how I wanted the meat? And I asked for medium! So the nachos come out and the portion of meat is small. I've ordered them before and they were delicious but they change the type of beef and I told them what happened and the manager got mad because they messed up? And he gave me such attitude and goes on to say I'm gonna make them again but you will have to take them to go ! I'm like wtf ? And you don't have to pay for anything just leave ! So they bring the nachos with a different meat and the meat is well beyond well done ! And I tell them and the other manager lady or whatever ever pronoun she was told me I had to leave because I complained the last time and I'm at fault because they keep messing up on my food ??? Then she says leave now and I'm calling the police to come escort you! I'm like wow just because they can't get an order correct oh and the second set of nachos the sauce was all dry like it was the same nachos from the first time . And I'm not welcomed there again? Talk about Hospitality and the customers are always wrong !

They never have 1000 island. Haha. Beer was cold service was good. We popped in to finish watching the NBA playoff game. Food was made to order and the bartender was attentive. I am a fan.

Had my first taste of yard house years ago in Cali and loved it. So glad the valley has one. Been here multiple times since it opened and everything has been good. Favorite go to are the ahi tuna nachos, sliders, garlic lobster noodles...but honestly a lot of the items are pretty good. Only thing I'm bummed about is they took away their happy hour appetizer nights.

I wanted to do like a spiteful vengeful post because I think they cut you off more than any bar on earth. I get cut off every time here. They even kicked me out one time for asking people at the bar if they wanted the sound of the cowboys game. Because instead of the sound they were gonna play 80s music. It was a HUGE game too. So the service here is fkn terrible. The manager is like 20 years old. Ok so this a bit spiteful but I've ALWAYS had an issue with something here. OUTSIDE of the that, the service at every other yard house I've been in my life has been fine so I think it's just this place is poorly run. Beer selection is incredible. Great bar. Food is fine. Nothing special but not bad

We both dined in and had take out from this bar and grill while in McAllen. I really appreciated the amount of vegetarian selections on the menu and everything I tried was delicious. I wish there was a Yard House near me because I'd go there often. Loved the gardien wings!

The food was phenomenal hands down, the service was fast and convenient. The scenery was beautiful people all around.

First time visiting this restaurant and it was really good! We started with the onion ring tower, which was delicious. We ordered 2 dishes the Maui pineapple chicken and sweet and spicy shrimp noodles. Both dishes were huge and so flavorful. The atmosphere was nice and our waiter was great!

I gotta say this place was really hyped up and while it's mainstay might be the drinks, I came for the food and it was really good, prices are a little on the higher side and portions were kinda low for my taste but it was still really good, I'm giving it a 4 but I wish I could give it a 4.5 cause it really was good just I can push myself to give it a 5 just yet, service was really good and the prices rock background music was honestly perfect, definitely recommend!

The food is great, the service is always awesome, and the ambiance is on point! The servers really know their drinks. Although they did not have most Mexican beers on tap during the time, they had their own. So I went with IPA. The beer was also good. Highly recommend on game days as well.

Came on a Tuesday night- Great ambiance, lots of room - outside booths & tables, inside bar with high and low stools- TVs and booth/table seating. Bathroom - impeccable. Appetizers: 1) Onion Ring Tower - it was alright. Just friend onions with diff. Dipping sauces : Parmesan, chipotle ranch, buttermilk ranch. 2) Poke Nachos - now this was AMAZING. I'd order 2 and just eat this. With the small chunks of red Ahi, melted cheese, avocado, Siracha, with truffle sauce, and more- tho do be careful bc for me and my 2 other friends who ate it - there are like 4 spicy slices of peppers.. something. Entree: 1) Roasted Turkey Club with substitute sweet potato fries - simple, clean and healthy. Very good portions of turkey and lettuce - nice addition of bacon. Loved the sweet potato fries. Overall Great, would order again.

Our server "G" was amazing! He recommended this amazing dip as an appetizer and it was phenomenal. We added beef and shrimp to the dip which was perfect. I ordered the Carnivore pizza and the lemon pepper wings. The entire environment was perfect!

Food and drinks were great! I've never had a bad visit to this restaurant. They are pretty consistent.

Decent food. I got the fish and chips and thought the fish was fried well without being dried out and the fries were crispy. Service was mostly prompt and venue was fine. Typical chain sports bar thats well ran. Reliable lunch spot at La Plaza mall.

Ahi tuna sandwich is a must. Delicious and tender . Was reluctant to try the queso appetizer but the server suggested it and we were impressed and of course thanked him for his suggestion. Place is great for family and friends.

Love the Happy Hour 3:00-6:00 M-F. Nice selection of 1/2 price apps and discounted adult beverages! Service is always good.

Nice food selections. I had the steak bowl and it was really good. It had an Asian feel to it. They have good cocktails but they are pricey so and try to make it during their happy hour.

I have plant based diet. The waiter offered me the vegan chicken wings. Great! Was very good. There was a white sauce with it. I asked if that sauce is also vegan and he said yes. Next night I went there again. Same order this time the other waiter told me that white sauce is not vegan! You should be aware about the food that you offer and ask kitchen if you don't know about something. People may have allergy to dairy or other religious concern about food. Bug turn off! Vegan dish must have vegan sauce and transparent information.

I have to admit, I was extremely disappointed that a place that raves of all their beer selection didn't have a single Porter on tap. My bartender did let me sample some she thought were similar to the Porter, no luck. Next time I'll just go to Whistling Duck in Mission. I did try the Onion Ring Tower, I was expecting something better, something more genuine, like the ones at Cheddar's, for example. Instead, I got some rings piled up on a stick. Staff was great, five stars for them. Beer and appetizer?- Not so much. It seems like your just paying extra for the location, I've had way better. Was put down to actually dine here with my last experience. Will not be coming back.

Great service...Great food... Great drinks! Highly recommend Yardhouse if you are trying to avoid busy franchises by the convention center. A friend recommended going and this place didn't disappoint. Restaurant is large enough to be spacious and has sitting areas both indoors and outdoors. Drinks were nice and strong and food had great taste. I ordered the Sirloin and Loaded Potato Stack. The meat had great flavor but seemed to be a bit overcooked even though I requested medium cooking. Cocktails were on point. Pricing can be high so be prepared to spend if you plan to stay a while for drinks like we did. Highly recommend this place.

My favorite place to hang out for food and beverage when visiting McAllen. The service is top notch and the menu items are all excellent. Great vibe and ambiance. It's my "go to" establishment for all cravings...beverage or food.

Again no pics to share but the poke nachos are a must for an appetizer we also tried the onion tower which was pretty good as well! Spicy beef noodles and the Steak were a hit!! Brunch or dinner this is the spot!

Took my friend to a Birthday lunch here! Service was good. Food was fantastic! I had the Blackened Shrimp Street tacos! They were so good! I had a beer also and my friend had the salad. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and with lime was awesome! I will say the rice wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be but I'm spoiled with the way my grandmas makes it. The shishimi was also good but don't get if you've never had it or if you have a sensitive stomach

Love love Yh. It is my to go to for any occasion. The atmosphere is always very chill and welcoming. The prices are on the middle end. The appetizers like poke nachos and tuna tartar are great. The salmon Cobb salad keeps me going back. Service can be a bit slow if they are busy and you sit at the bar. But other than that, this is one of my fav spots in McAllen.

Best bar food and selection of beers. But seriously, the boneless wings are done so well. I always come here when I'm in town because it's a chain but a GOOD one at that - no Applebee's or Denny's. I got the cheese curds and wings, which were half off from 3-6 and you can sit anywhere in the restaurant, not just the bar as most restaurants require for happy hour prices.

I came here on 5/10/21 as my flight got delayed and my bf was hungry. We were sat around 1:56pm. We sat in the enclosed patio. It felt better than outside, but it was still warm. I wish they had the fans going. Waitress came around 2pm. Note: I didn't get her name, but she was fairly attentive. I was on the phone and wasn't very hungry as I ate already before leaving hotel. She took his order. He ordered the small spicy jambalaya for entree and 4 cheese spinach dip as an appetizer. The jambalaya was huge to be a small order. Both items were good, so he says. I ended up ordered the wings. Unfortunately, they were breaded, which I can't have doing keto. I didn't know until after I got them. Most places don't bread their wings. It's my fault for my most asking prior to ordering. Waitress offered to get me something else but I didn't want to waste them, so I just ate them and added another cheat day, which turned out to be a good idea because my flight continued to get delayed and I had to eat airport food. The wings were delicious!! We got a couple lemon drop shots a piece. The second round had crushed ice in it, which was odd. Plus, they tasted more juicy than a solid mix of juice and liquor. We were here a couple hours. The atmosphere was nice and the views were good. They had charged on the side of the booths, which allowed me to charge my phone and laptop. They have half price apps from 3-6PM. I wish we came a little later to catch this special haha. This location is also in a mall. Overall, not bad! No complaints really.

The music here is on point very fun crowd to come get some drinks and dinner before going out on the town. Would recommend as a place to get the night started. The appetizer chicken tenders is a good portion to share or even have as entree.

Worst Bartender Ever. This guy Adam needs to re-evaluate his career choices. He is Lazy and has a bad Attitude. Go back to school and start on a new career path because your Bartending Days are numbered. They need to Fire Adam. How old is this Guy. This is a University Bar and I think this guy must have Failed out of University in the 1980's. He reminds of the Character "Blue" from old school.
