When the weather is right. The view on the patio is breathtaking. The atmosphere is enhanced as you can watch golfers teeing off while you relax waiting for a table on some Adirondack chairs. Service is excellent. Jared was my waiter today. A young man I have spoken to before. He has a lot of ambition and I see a bright future for him. The hostesses were pleasant and kind. As well as the rest of the staff. Food was excellent and the salad was fresh. Kudos to the chef on the grilled chicken as well. Cooked to perfection!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Yard Grille is an absolute gem in Upstate New York! 🌲🦞 The moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views that set the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The food? Next level. The lobster was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the crab cakes were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Don’t even get me started on the crab dip—creamy, rich, and totally addictive 🦀🔥. Every dish was a hit. To top it all off, the staff was amazing—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Between the stunning scenery, exceptional service, and unforgettable food, The Yard is a must-visit. Already planning our next trip back!

Great service, great food, great views!! Our server Catherine was very nice and friendly. We ordered the short rib tacos to shared, my husband for the smash burger and I had the filet mignon which was delicious. For dessert I got the strawberry shortcake which was not a shortcake but a homemade biscuit, not my favorite as it had basil oil (my mistake for ordering without asking what it had) but I went for it by the pictures! We would definitely come back!

Food was delicious, the view was amazing and our server Jen made us feel very welcome and was very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Pretty well tasting food for all ages and preferences. Beautiful view of Green Lakes and well taken care golf fields. Tastefully designed outside patio with Adirondack wood accents. Drinks sometimes amazing and sometimes not. All depends on a waitress. Highly recommend this restaurant.

As you turn into the south entrance to Green Lakes Park, you drive through a beautiful wooded area containing some of the oldest trees found in Onondaga County. This curvy nature drive ends in an open area with the golf course facilities and restaurant straight ahead and a parking area to the left. The hostess table is outside to the right of the restaurant. When we arrived at 1:00 p.m. on a Thursday in August we were seated immediately, but we learned from our hostess that there's often a waiting list for a table at dinner as they only take reservations for parties of 10 or more. Interestingly, they only seat you inside the restaurant if you request it. Otherwise, they assume you'll want a table on the outdoor patio which overlooks Green Lake and the golf course. We were seated in the shade with a beautiful view and a cool breeze. In most cases when I look at a restaurant's menu for the first time, I only find a few items that sound appealing. However, on my first visit here, I had a difficult time choosing from among many items that sounded delicious. I chose the Waldorf chicken salad sandwich on a round-shaped crescent roll. It was excellent and the kettle chips accompanying it were a nice salty, crunchy counterpoint. My wife chose the turkey club. It was huge and quite impressive looking piled up on the plate. Unfortunately, they were out of chocolate cake for dessert. But probably just as well, because our sandwiches were generous and quite filling.

Google
Dinner inside noisy, service was admirable as we were a large group and food was tasty. Lunch for two in the deck was more enjoyable, food equally good, service was lacking. The view of the lake and golf course…splendid! All in all a good choice.

Google
If you like well done crispy burgers you will love it! Can not order rare or med rare! All else was great! Can not get steak for Lunch (Fillet) which should be simple since it starts @ 4pm & could just cut a steak & cook it! Left 40% tip and did not complain about anything...no Thank You! Not the way I was trained as a Waitress!

Yelp
The restaurant at Green Lakes State Park formerly known as Justin's is every bit as good as its predecessor and maybe even a bit better! Situated high above the jewel-toned waters of Green Lake and overlooking the 18th green at the Robert Trent Jones-designed golf course, the patio at Yards has some of the prettiest vistas of any in CNY. Yards is not just a pretty face though. It offers an eclectic New Classic American menu that is sure to make ordering difficult, as you struggle to choose between multiple tempting options. (Don't worry, you're going to want to come back over and over to try them all!) I've been there twice now. The first time, our party kept it basic: Utica greens dip for the table, two burgers, and a fresh berry salad with grilled chicken. The double beef patty burgers are generous and served on brioche buns. Both the mushroom Swiss burger and the Juicy Lucy (double beef patties, cheddar, pickles, bacon, and special sauce on a brioche bun) came exactly as ordered (not something common these days) and tasted every bit as good as they looked. Forcing patrons to choose between the short rib, Mahi Mahi, and Peri Peri chicken tacos is a form of torture, however. It would be nice if they offered a combo plate of one of each. On my second visit, I went with the Mahi Mahi and wasn't disappointed. Do not pass up the strawberry shortcake for dessert. The whipped cream is dense, like Bavarian schlag, and the homemade biscuits are light and fluffy. And it's so big that you're going to want to share or, better yet, take half home for later!

Yelp
Beer recommendations: None. Garbage selection. A beautiful view is ruined by its "clubhouse first" approach. A summer job place, expect odd service problems and inexperienced bartenders. A menu catered towards a bite when you've finished 9 holes, some of the items are pretty good. Food quality varies: overcooked steaks, overpriced frozen seafood, and a menu heavy on average sandwiches. That being said, when you get one of the decent bartenders or waiters, you start to think the place is turning around. But this is few and far between. Like most spots run by this restaurant group, it feels like an old "Upstate" mentality to what should be. Perfectly skippable on a cloudy or rainy day. Let's hope it changes hands and a real venue opens up.

Yelp
We would love to spend more days at green lake state park. There were so many trails we have not explored. Also the golf course is in the state park very nice with their good restaurant called "Yards " . Food are excellent . We especially like their waiters service . I gave him a very good tips .

Yelp
This place is a must-try. Not only are the views absolutely stunning but their seemingly unassuming menu is executed to perfection. Let's start with the atmosphere. Nestled within Green Lakes State Park, you get an incredible view of the lake, golfing greens, and natural scenery for miles. It's truly gorgeous if you sit on their deck in good weather. The inside has an upscale cabin vibe with lots of wood and a stone fireplace, which seems cozy in the winter. As far as the food, I was stunned at how good their Waldorf salad was. Chicken salad is one of those simple foods you don't expect much of, but theirs is impeccable. Something about the balsamic and big, ripe grapes in the Waldorf really sent it home. Highly recommend as either a salad or sandwich, you can't go wrong.

Julia S.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to eat in the summer time. Can't beat the views, and mixed berry mojito was delicious and refreshing as always. Service is always wonderful; servers and hostess are friendly. Expect to wait because this place is popular especially on a a sunny day!

Yelp
I came for the views but definitely stayed for the food and cocktails. Yards Grille was absolutely delicious! I dined during their lunch hours and quite a few selections to choose from. I opted for their turkey, bacon & swiss croissant sandwich while my lunch date ordered their Haddock sandwich & fries. My entrée was very good and filling. I was only able to make it 1/2 through my meal before I inevitably had to lean back in my chair and soak up the views. My lunch date states that their fish sandwich was fried perfectly and also very filling. The service here is immaculate. From the hostess, bartenders, and waitress, everyone was so kind. I look forward to returning, hopefully before the season is over to try their dinner menu.

Yelp
Another lovely day at Yards Grille! We stopped in for lunch and had a seat in the "self serve" section (you have to order at the bar). We enjoyed the views, and the fresh air with a Meier's Creek Floatin' On By and a Double Bogey cocktail. Both hit the spot. For our meals we had the Waldorf Chicken Salad on Brioche and the Prime Beef sandwich on Brioche. Both came with very crisp house made chips. The only negative this time was that they were obviously understaffed and our order took well over 30 minutes to arrive. However, we were in no rush and just enjoying a day off.

Yelp
Stopped in at about 11:30 on a Saturday. I was recommended this place by a coworker. Let me tell you, this was a good recommendation. Located in green lakes state park, the restaurant boasts a gorgeous view overlooking the golf course and lake. The view was stunning during the summer- I can only imagine how it would look in the fall with the leaves changing. I was greeted and seated quickly. The lunch menu is a bit limited (salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads) but I think most people should be able to find something they enjoy. I ordered crab cakes to start and a club sandwich for my entree. The crab cakes came out about 5 minutes after I ordered and boy were they good. Light and all crab served over a bed of greens. There was a spicy aioli that played nicely with the sweetness of the crab. Definitely big enough to share with another person. The entree came quickly after I finished the crab cakes- man this sandwich was massive. The thing must weigh over a pound. That being said, it still somehow managed to feel like a light sandwich, which was welcomed (I did only manage to eat half and I suspect you will too). The fries were nicely salted and crispy but did come at a 3 dollar up charge. For a lemonade, crab cakes, massive club sandwich, and French fries my total came to 46 dollars- certainly not a cheap lunch. However the food was all delicious and the atmosphere can't be beat. Service was also prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back- sooner rather than later.

Yelp
We sat outside on the Patio so cannot comment on the main dining room but the view was amazing. This restaurant is nestled next to a golf course and State park and made for a beautiful fresco dining experience. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food definitely did not disappoint either. Portion sizes were huge and Entrees were reasonable priced. This is a great date night or girl's lunch kind of place. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Felt like a high quality establishment. Sometimes are weary of golf club food but this spot is worth going out of your way for. Co worker and myself ordered the smash burger with fries. NOT DISAPPOINTED. The bun is high quality, the meat is cooked correctly and the cheese is melted perfectly and not overpowering. Beautifully executed dish. The presentation in a simple to go box is an icing on the cake to the effort put into this food. Effort is appreciated and it shows. We will be coming back the fries were good the customer service was good, we got lost in the gorgeous view of the lake and they brought our to go order out to us. Very friendly staff amazing food only recommendation is the price point should be lowered. Also be weary of the golf club members from our experience they were rather snobby and made us feel out of place.

Yelp
I love it here. After walking / hiking around green lakes I usually come here after for drinks/ food and the views!! Yards Grille is right in Green Lakes park , located on the golf course. They have indoor/outdoor seating and Adirondack chairs on the lawn. The waitstaff are all so friendly. They have delicious fresh drinks that they change up seasonally. The food is also phenomenal. The crab dip ughhhh. Sometimes they have lobster rolls on the menu which is my go to. It's always a relaxing ambiance and what's better than sitting out on the patio during the afternoon with these beautiful views ?! The food/drinks are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

Yelp
Inconsistency is the key here my beautiful diners. The view is extraordinary, as is the location. Next impression - the greeting: The greeting was less than stellar. Think, high school mean girls, who are pissed they have to work, and don't want to be talking to you. They don't take reservations, unless you are a party of 12, which is fine, but they won't take your name to get on a waitlist either until you are on site. I am a DINKWAD, but I imagine if you have children, an hour wait with only dirty tables (reminder - the mean girl hosts) is probably not ideal. There is some finance bro eye candy to keep you occupied, but that is about it. (And you know straight finance bro's, they are good to look at, and buy dinner, but not much else). Once finally seated, the food was very good. In honor of the Olympics in Paris I had a Turkey Croissant. It was quite good, but not good enough to justify the holier than though attitude of the staff!

Yelp
Got a delicious Gluten Free smash burger & chips for lunch. Friendly waitstaff and incredible view. I'll be back!!

Yelp
Just went last night for dinner. Nearly all sandwiches this time. But my Turkey Chrox was delicious with Light Beer by Utica. But, our server was a bit lagging in the patio. Still, the ambiance was great with clear skies looking out over Green Lake.

Yelp
Grabbed a bite to eat here after a walk around Green Lakes. Started our meal with the crab cakes as an appetizer. The taste was pretty good but the cake itself didn't hold together all that well. The chicken salad sandwich was beyond filling! I scarfed it all down because of the walk we'd just done, but if I hadn't been as hungry I easily could've taken half home. The servers were very attentive, regularly stopping by our table to ask if we needed anything. And nothing beats the view of this place. You overlook the entire state park and there's even Adirondack chairs on the expansive lawn to take in the view better.

Yelp
This restaurant (clubhouse) is part of the golf course at Green Lakes State Park. My husband and I enjoyed lunch here on a rainy Monday afternoon, so business appeared to be slow. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was surprisingly good. I had the club sandwich and my husband had the Mahi mahi tacos. We were both happy and the prices were reasonable.

Yelp
4 of us went for drinks and dinner a few days ago. Even though they were very busy. Our wait time was minimal. The hostess was very congenial and attentive. The sink specials were outstanding! Our server -Donna was experienced and knew her audience. The appetizers were great but the dinner was even more impressive. Pricing was very reasonable in comparison to local fine dining establishments. Add the amazing scenery and it was a perfect evening. Kudos to Mark Bullis and Juliana for making our time with our friends memorable.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was excellent! Very attentive. Dining with a friend. We shared the crab cake appetizer and the club sandwich. We were told that the kettle chips served with the sandwich were homemade but seemed to be from a bag.

Emily S.

Yelp
The view is absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, we went outside and sat for roughly 20 minutes and never got waited on, so we went into the bar. The bartender totally ignored us so I asked what beers they had and he casually replied, "whatever you see"! Ooookay.... I was ready to leave! Long story short, we had a drink and appetizer, which were good, BUT, somehow can't get past the rudeness of the ignorant bart

Yelp
Scenic. Pleasant. Tasty. Iced tea, diet soda, Waldorf Salad, and Flatbread (Brie and Apple) are ordered. Our hightop table overlooks the first hole, course, and lakes. It's a perfect table view. Our order arrives in a short time and we have a wonderful meal enjoying the view and watching the golfers tee-off. Music is playing, it's a great atmosphere. The chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake are offered, we declined, looking forward to another time. Having walked here from Green Lakes Park, we continue our walk along the course and down to the lakes. What a great way to wrap up a satisfying lunch. Five stars it is.

Marianne K.

Yelp
My colleague and I had a break between showings and client appointments so decided to have lunch outdoors! We both still had to take a couple of phone calls but since we sat outside we were able to easily walk to the side and not disturb other tables. Appetizer: crab cake dip Entree: shrimp roll Dessert: pumpkin cheesecake Really great location to enjoy the fall weather for lunch. Very serene! Only had about a 20-30minute wait today, ample parking. Very busy yet kind staff. Service was a little slower but it's also Columbus Day and our waitress had great recommendations! While waiting you can head to the bar to get a drink and take it back outside and wait for the text that your table is ready so you don't really feel the wait time especially with those fall color leaves and water views!
google avatar

Alaina B.

Yelp
Great food and a great view of the lake. Outdoor seating had plenty of heaters so we weren't cold, and the view is worth it. The crab dip & lobster Mac were delicious, and there was a creative cocktail selection.

Yelp
This used to be Brian's Landing. Beautiful views of golf course and green lakes beach. We were seated quickly had delicious prime rib sandwich

Yelp
What better way to end a trip to Green Lakes State Park than a visit to Yards Grille which overlooks the unique meromictic lake? At Yards, a beautiful view can be had from the deck or from a window seat inside. The service was good, the house salad was excellent, but the slightly messy, yes, yet, extraordinary lobster rolls were the best we've encountered on our many trips to the Finger Lakes region!

Pamela B.

Yelp
I am not a golfer but a friend recommended Yards Grille. When we sat down the waitress came to our table and introduced herself as Donna and she took our drink order. We both had a blue lemonade. After our drinks where serviced I ordered a juicy Lucy and it came out of the kitchen cooked perfectly and timely . I recommend Yards Grille for excellent food and service

Barb M.

Yelp
Excellent, professional service from the start. My phone had died and they even charged it for my in the office. The food was also absolutely delicious. I had the chicken with fingerling potatoes. We shared the Brussels sprouts which was a huge amount. I took some home for leftovers. My husband had the fresh berry salad with grilled chicken. He loved it. My husband already wants to go back before we go home. And the view is stunning. Fortunately, We were able to sit outside and which made it even more memorable because we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary! We highly recommend this place- definitely 5 star.

Steven B.

Yelp
One of the worst service restaurants around. Place is gorgeous but management hired a bunch of zombies. Had been this way for the last two years.

Kristina V.

Yelp
Great atmosphere at least outside. Love what the owner did to this place. Feels high class with very decent prices. The view is incredible. Everyone in my party enjoyed the entire experience. Food was pretty good as well. One star off for the waiter. She wasn't bad by any means, but seemed very bothered and rushed when I tried asking her about some menu dishes. My bill was over $200 so please, she could've at least listened attentively and tried helping. I still gave her a great tip but wished for a little bit better service. Also my 2 adult drinks had barely any alcohol. I expect a little more from a $10 drink.

Tina J.

Yelp
I held a small bridal shower there. From making the reservations through the end of the shower itself, every thing and everyone was wonderful! Food was delicious, service on point! The restaurant is beautiful with gorgeous views overlooking Green Lakes.

Karen M.

Yelp
Huckleberry cafe Lacona NY, cozy little place to eat. Omelette was fluffy. Corn beef hash was good.

Yelp
We had a great experience tonight at Yards Grille! Our waitress Lisa was FANTASTIC and so accommodating. The view is always beautiful, but the food is really on par as well. The club sandwich was HUGE and really delicious. My friend got the waldorf salad sandwich which she said was delicious, and the salad portions were very generous and a good portion for a meal. We will be back again!
google avatar

Stan D.

Yelp
Really great service and location. The servers were friendly and helpful and the view was amazing. it was kinda fun to watch all the old white dudes golfing as i ate. the food was not good though in my opinion, and is the only reason for the low score. the gluten free options were sparse, but i got the ahi salad. it was $20. the tuna was good, but it was like five tiny slices of tuna on top of a massive pile of nothing but lettuce (no dressing) and a few mandarin orange pieces and chopped sugar snap peas around the edge. some of the lettuce was wilted, dried out and/or rotten. it was definitely not a satisfying meal, i came in hungry and somehow left even more hungry.

Yelp
Ambiance was fantastic overlooking the golf course. Have been here in the fall and it's even more spectacular. Food was very tasty and fresh. Our server was attentive and very polite. I had taken my grandson to lunch which was a special opportunity before he left for his 1st year in college

Yelp
Best customer service we have had in a long time. All staff was very nice and very welcoming and on top of everything. From the hostesses who greeted us to our waitress to the manager who checked in on us, very impressed at the level of customer service. We enjoyed our time, you can't beat the view, such a nice outdoor area! One of the best in Syracuse. Food was great we got the Friday fish fry, loved the lemon aioli it came with. We will be back, especially when it warms up again!

Heather At Willow R.

Yelp
Waited 10 minutes to be seated (it was NOT busy) Hostess finally came and acted as if it was a issue seating us. We got a nice seat overlooking the lake which was lovely. We asked if the umbrella could be put up and we were told that it couldn't as the "winds" were too high--- she then moved our seat to one against the building NO VIEW. We no more than ordered and we looked and over and another table had the umbrella was up. We commented to our waitress DONNA S that we were told they would put the umbrella down 15 minutes later... DONNA S came back saw me looking at the umbrella still up slammed my HOT WATER TEA pot down splashing hot water out (I was holding a 18 m baby) and stormed off putting the umbrella down. We spoke to the manager who turned out to be the hostess..... I would have thought it was more likely for an 18 m old to have a TEMPER TANTRUM but I would be wrong!

Yelp
We had a wonderful late dinner @ Yards Grille this past weekend. The service was exceptional and food great. Loved the appetizers and flatbreads especially. Was able to eat outside on a the huge pati! They had heating which was a plus.

Yelp
There is nothing like a beer on a hot day, sitting outside the Green Lakes clubhouse! A 5-star experience for sure! When our uncle from Atlanta visits, we host mini-family reunions on the patio after a round of golf. The Yards Grille has a decent beer list, which is the most important part! The service is good too but the food is more of a mixed experience. We've had amazing crab dip and the roasted Brussels sprouts are not to be missed. We've enjoyed the flatbread pizzas, Reuben and burgers but would not rave about them. Skip the crabcakes. They were unpleasant. If you go for a salad, bring your own dressing. Each one I've tried has been odd and took away from the salad they were meant to compliment. Bottom line? Do not hesitate to go to the Green Lakes clubhouse for a beverage and the view. It's stunning! If you're hungry, have an app or two, then head to one of the many fabulous restaurants in the area.

Yelp
What a beautiful afternoon. We went to Yards Grill at Green Lakes State Park. The view is just amazing. There were 3 of us and we each ordered something different. All the food was amazing. And if someone tells you the restaurants can't get any help, you won't see it here. There were plenty of servers and everyone was very friendly. All the deserts are made on site, so I ordered a slice of peach pie. AMAZING.

Yelp
I'm not sure if this place is "new" or if it's just new to me but it made for a nice little week night dinner with the girls. The view here is very nice, it's set on a hill kindof overlooking the golf course. Not super fancy for being at a country club, no obvious dress code. We sat on the patio as it was one of the first nights it wasn't blistering hot outside. It took a while for us to be greeted, but we knew that going anywhere right now with staffing shortages everywhere. Once greeted, our server was very attentive the remainder of the evening and the food came out in a timely fashion. The berry mojito was delicious and well made, but pretty expensive in my opinion being that it was half fruit/ice. The crab dip was SO good, as well as the Utica greens dip. The chips had a little too much seasoning so it overpowered the dip but overall, still really good. The juicy Lucy burger was two thin patties, and had a house sauce on it which was similar to a mustard-like sweet sauce that I enjoyed despite hating mustard. The lobster Mac n cheese had a good amount of lobster in it, but the sauce was like paste and it was HEAVY on the Gouda flavor so if you don't love Gouda, steer clear bc it was $25 and you'd hate to not enjoy every last bite of it. I was SO excited for dessert (specifically the strawberry shortcake), we ordered that and the chocolate cake and cheesecake with strawberries instead of cherry. The chocolate cake was probably the better of the 3 and I was pretty disappointed by the other two. The strawberry shortcake was made with a stale/hard biscuit and had approximately 4 strawberries on the whole thing so it was basically hard bread with a lot of whipped cream. The whipped cream was really really good, but it would've been nice to have more than that for dessert. The cheesecake tasted as unappealing as it looked. Dry, no juices from the strawberries and no whipped cream or garnish to make it look semi presentable. By the time we got our check, it was starting to get cold and dark and we were being eaten alive by bugs. Despite the flaws, I still enjoyed this restaurant, but kverall I don't think it was worth the $160 tab.

Rhett B.

Yelp
To whoever posted the 1-star review I'll try to balance you out a bit. Ever own a restaurant and run into challenges during opening? I doubt everything goes perfectly in your life. Anyway here's my review: great views, great good, great service (Thanks Lauren & Sabrina!), and great people. Period. If you can't enjoy yourself here, you can't do it anywhere. Do the rest of us a favor and STAY HOME!!!

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and servers. Remember they opened after this pandemic. You guys rock

Yelp
A big step backwards! Last year they took over for Brian's Landing and while not at the level of Brian's the food was fine and menu was okay. This year not so good, ordered a fish sandwich that last year was an actual piece of fish this year a triangle fish patty similar to the one you purchase in the grocery store! Waldorf salad was flavorless and the bun was not exactly fresh. Beer and wine are reasonably priced so that is a plus and the view is amazing. Hopefully this was early opening setbacks and quality will improve.

Yelp
Green Lakes State Park is a place that every central New Yorker should see at least once a year. The walking trail lends itself perfectly to an easy, shady walk for people of all ages and it's a favorite of mine. The restaurant has changed ownership a number of times, and this recent change was a good one, although we have always enjoyed food there. The menu is simple but well conceived. As someone who is pescatarian, I enjoy having a salad with some form of fish or seafood. I ordered a salad with crabcakes, and they were delicious. My friend ordered mixed greens salad with chicken on top. She was a little surprised that the chicken came fried, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. Perhaps a slight complaint would be that the salad greens were not as fresh as I would like them to be,and I picked a few pieces out and put them at the side of my plate. That being said, our server was so pleasant and outstanding, and I am still kicking myself for not getting his name. Honestly, everything taste better at the yards Grill because of the view overlooking the golf course and the lake. Get there early so you get a seat overlooking the gorgeous sights.

Trish B.

Yelp
After a Saturday walk of Round and Green Lakes we headed to Yards for lunch. This was our first visit since the ownership change. We typically went (BL) there for Friday fish fry, drinks, and the view. The changes are subtle but needed, and appreciated. The food we ordered was definitely a step or two up from the past- had a sandwich and salad. My husband drank a beer and I a state fair lemonade. The dessert was incredible! We were told all were made in house. We split a generous piece of the pumpkin cheesecake- though it was difficult to decide with the seasonal dessert choices. Our waitress and the restaurant manager checked with us periodically. We will be visiting more often!

Kelly L.

Yelp
I would give 5 stars for the view and plentiful outdoor dining, just wish the food lived up to the atmosphere. It was definitely better under the prior owner. Ordered the Di Mare Flatbread, and surprised to find it covered in artichokes which were no where in the description (looked like they just put their crab dip on the flatbread). This would be fine if I liked artichokes, but never would have ordered it if they had been listed on the menu. Other diners in my party ordered sandwiches and were offered the option of chips, fries, or a salad as a side, with no mention, that this would add a $2-3 upcharge. I don't have an issue with an up charge, but the server should not present these as standard options without mentioning that there would be an extra charge so that an informed decision can be made...

Used to love going to Green Lakes for dinner and drinks in the nice weather. New restaurant ... No liquor license yet (which they should have mentioned before we sat down) menu needs to be revamped ... not impressed. Several tables ordered soft drinks and left. Go back to basics ... It's a golf course. It's a shame because we really want it to work.

Yelp
Best outdoor dining spot in Central New York. The food is average but the view is spectacular.

Yelp
The service was great, A absolutely beautiful view however a little disappointed because of the fact that I had a Cobb salad and I asked if I could have a grilled chicken instead of fried and the waitress said of course no problem. The waitress did not tell me there was a $3.50 charge and it wasn't posted on the menu. Really died t make sense that there's an up charge however at least let the customer know . Trust me I would not have paid $18 for a salad. I would've chosen something else if I was told . Plus there wasn't even that much chicken on my salad . Very dissatisfied. I do miss Brian's landing Yards grille has huge shoes to fill !!! Very disappointed

Yelp
DISAPPOINTING. Menu needs an upgrade and prices need to reflect quality and portion sizes of menu items. Brought a client from out of state for what I'd hoped would be a lovely lunch overlooking the lake: terribly mistaken. Ordered the lobster roll (asked for the lobster to be on a big salad instead of a bun) for $26. The lobster was obviously previously frozen, then thawed then cooked - way overcooked. Server brought out the finest 2 claws (smaller than thumb) I've ever seen on about 4 pieces of mesclun. Overly cooked lobster served over a couple of soggy mesclun was embarrassing. Had big hopes for this place opening - terribly mistaken.
