Yavapai Café

We stopped by Yavapai Café mid-morning for a couple of iced lattes, but unfortunately they were disappointing. They serve Starbucks coffee using an automated one-touch espresso machine, and both of our lattes had a burnt taste. Not the best option if you’re looking for a quality coffee inside the park.

They have great pastries and well stocked,they serve Starbucks coffee and have a good menu. They do amazing at their job great customer service all of them are so polite and knowledgeable. The coffee is really good both hot and iced.

I’ve given Yavapai Café multiple chances over the years, but unfortunately, the service continues to disappoint. During my most recent visit, in the middle of the busy season, there was only one staff member working. That’s simply not enough to handle the volume of customers, especially at such a popular location in the Grand Canyon. We waited over 30 minutes just to receive our coffee, and by the time it was ready, our food had already gone cold. This isn’t a one-time fluke either, it’s been a consistent issue every time I return. It’s clear that management isn’t adjusting staffing levels to meet demand, which is frustrating when you’re paying park prices and just trying to enjoy your visit.

Reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches, burritos & Starbucks coffee! It opens at 7 am but we got in line at 6:45 and we are glad we did. By the time we got out of line there were 30 more people behind us in line! Tip: get in line early before they even open up or you’ll be waiting awhile!

Decent place to grab and go. Serves Starbucks brews. Open 7 am to 2 pm, in case you are peckish and don’t want a full sit down experience.

Place was neat and clean, had good options for vegetarian (considering eggs as an option), Coffee was tasty, nice and warm on a cold day morning, will recommend this place highly if you are visiting the canyon.

We enjoyed the service, coffee, and breakfast burrito at Yavapi Coffee and Ice Cream on two consecutive mornings. The workers are polite, cheerful, and fast. The long line moves quickly. The breakfast burrito is a complete breakfast and is the best I’ve ever tasted. I don’t understand why the overall rating of the coffee shop is only 3.7. My wife and I were highly satisfied and will return on our way out of The Grand Canyon tomorrow morning.

Nice sports bar vibe. The food was good. They had a nice beer selection and good cocktails. The bar tender was very nice and accommodating. The nachos were large enough to share between at least 3 people. Great spot to go to after walking around the grand canyon.

Maybe we were there in an off time, but it seems they have a few 20 something's working for them that are a little less than excited to be working there. No smiles. No thank you's. No offer of assistance of any kind other than if you pinned them and asked a question. Food was just OK. I wouldn't hurry back.

Awesome food buffet with something for everyone including a deliciously appointed salad bar. Super friendly staff and management with outdoor seating and plenty of local history adorning the walls.

The food was awful! The concession needs to hire more help and figure out how to serve guests more quickly.

This was the best meal we had of the 3 nights we stayed. We received enough food to feed 4 people on one plate. We would return in a hart beat. Got the 2 protein and 3 side plate. Picked fajitas and the spicy fish. Also got the potatoes, corn, rice, and apple/peach dessert.

First, we were glad they were open on Christmas day. The cafe is inside a small grocery store, there is indoor and outdoor seating. The food came up pretty fast and they were busy. Spouse got a cheesesteak, left a lot to be desired. Kind of dry and flavorless. I got the Fritos Chili and it looked delicious, and it tasted really good. I just wish there was a little more chili, as the chili to Fritos ratio was off, too many Fritos, not enough chili. They also have sweet tea, but I did not try it. Kind of hard to find fresh-brewed sweet tea outside the Southeast unless one visits a Chick-Fil-A. Average food.

Minimal experience here, did have their latte and it was delicious. My daughter also had their peppermint mocha which she enjoyed greatly as well. We feel the drinks were better than Starbucks original.

I went on the morning of May 19, 2023. Such nice people. Unlike my experience at the Tavern last night. They were kind and the coworkers all worked as a team. They did their best and were kind and humble. If only the tavern had the same work ethic

They had no ice cream, should be named Yavapai Coffee and Disappointment. For those looking for ice cream, good luck!

Great little secret spot to pick up sandwiches, coffee, or breakfast pastries. They also have breakfast burritos until 11 AM. The sandwich selection is pretty good and the same prices as in the general store. The coffee shop is located inside the Yavapai lodge. I recommend for a quick lunch pick up!

Not bad. Had Starbucks coffee. But Togo cups were not full. The girls liked it but just wished their coffee were full.

If you're looking for Starbucks coffee, this is your place. Not crowded and easily accessible.

My fiancé and I didn't have much luck finding a good breakfast spot until we came to this coffee shop inside the Grand Canyon! I had noticed that they didn't have any menu posted on here so I wanted to post it for everyone else! If you want a nice breakfast sandwich and coffee, I would suggest coming here.

Best hidden coffee shop in the Grand Canyon Village. Has breakfast and lunch sandwiches and ice cream. We ordered a latte, cappuccino, and 2 bagel, egg, and cheese sandwiches. Friendly staff. Not bad pricing for hotel resort area. Currently not serving ice cream.

It was just ok. Nothing really special and I can understand anything in national park always mediocre.

Coffee was good! Breakfast bagel and burrito was really good too! Family of 4 was able to enjoy everything.
