A Great Stay in Amsterdam with Minor Room for Improvement I recently stayed at Numa Stays Amsterdam for 4 nights, and overall, I was impressed with the accommodation. The location is fantastic, with a bus stop right outside the door, making it easy to explore the city. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and also got some free welcome goodies, which was a lovely touch😎 However, there were a few areas that needed attention. The bathroom ventilation could be improved, as it consistently smelled of smoke, which was irritating. Additionally, we encountered a bug in the apartment initially, and despite the staff's prompt response via WhatsApp, the issue persisted in the bathroom for the entire duration of our stay. Unfortunately, it wasn't fully resolved. One minor inconvenience was the limited availability of working washing machines and dryers. With only two machines functioning for a large number of guests, we had to wait for hours to do our laundry. Despite these minor issues, I would highly recommend Numa Stays Amsterdam for its excellent location and comfortable rooms. With a bit of attention to these details, it could be an even more enjoyable stay.

I love this apartment! I've never stayed in such a comfortable bed before. It's really spacious upstairs, downstairs is a little cramped around the table but can be forgiven because of the layout. The stairs are very steep and winding. It has been finished to a high standard and is decorated in a modern way. There has been a slight smell of drains from the bathroom but we left the window open so not to be that noticeable. There is a bus stop right outside taking you to the center and trams are a short walk away. There is a petrol station, shop and restaurant all within five minutes walk. The canal opposite is a beautiful view from the windows. I would highly recommend staying here even if it is a little out of the centre.

The lift is under repaired for days and u have to carry the luggage upstairs yourself. Washing machine and dryer is also under repair. U can not really cook as the ventilation is not good and u will be fined if the fire alarm is triggered. Only one very small up in the roof window can be opened a little which makes the room very hot and poor ventilation. U can only keep your luggage in the locker upon availability. No one is helping and care to you, all replies by WhatsApp with a little delay. Only no. 22 bus go in front of the hotel but not others which makes u take a long walk to go no.22 to return to hotel. Do not choose this hotel if u really need a service apartment to cook and wash.

Deeply disappointing..|We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. The first 5 days were on the ground floor, where everything was sticky—the carpets were full of dust, spider webs in the corners of the rooms, and dust on all the lamps and wardrobes.|After complaining for several days in a row via WhatsApp about the unbearable noise at night, we were told to use earplugs. The noise was so loud that our children woke up crying multiple times during the night. Only after insisting multiple times were we finally offered the option to move to the top floor for the last 4 days.|Unfortunately, even there, we had the same bad luck. A group of young people had a party at midnight in the room next to us. They were throwing things at the walls and moving beds around in the middle of the night. My husband went to their door and politely asked them to be quieter because we were there with our children. In response, they started throwing things at the walls again and continued making noise.|The apartment was just as dirty—the floor was sticky, and after walking barefoot for 5 minutes, our socks were completely black. The dust had not been cleaned, the bed sheets and towels had holes or stains, and the bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drain. The windows were filthy, and the glass in the shower cabin was covered in limescale.|To make things worse, I accidentally left behind a bag with textile materials purchased in Amsterdam, worth nearly €200. I only realized this when we arrived back in Germany. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp, and the next day they told me that the bag had been found. An hour later, they said it was a mistake and that no employee had found it. I was robbed. It could have just as easily been a wallet or a piece of jewelry—this is unacceptable!|In summary: A deeply disappointing hotel in every possible way!|I deeply regret not taking a photo to at least capture a glimpse of the disgust we experienced there, and I truly regret choosing this hotel.|Make sure to read the reviews on all platforms. We relied only on the reviews from Booking, but I suspect many negative ones were deleted—I don’t know! On Google, the reviews are overwhelmingly bad and numerous!

One of the worst places to stay. Great when with a group and on a budget. Good looking room, but no front desk. No frequent cleaning (which is expressed from the beginning and you can tell). Middle of nowhere in retrospect. We were in the room for a few hours and fortunately we managed to spot that the beds were covered in bedbugs! It was distressing and revolting. The people in charge of helping us via WhatsApp, managed to get us another room after an hour. We instantly went to have a look for bedbugs in the second room, and unsurprisingly, it also had bedbugs. The mattress was also heavily stained. These rooms are not looked after, nor are they cleaned regularly. Stay away! Unless you are desperate, do not waste your money at this location. You will leave with a horrible gift to take back home with you, and get bites whilst you sleep. Horrible!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment—it was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

not all units have air-conditioning. Advertised as air-conditioned, but only top floor had air-conditioning. Friends of ours had no air-conditioning and were only given an extra fan.

The hotel does not take feedback onboard as no changes have been made from previous negative experiences. Smaller than expected. Said it sleeps 5 people, but was only suitable for 2/3 separate people. 1 private room and the other 2 in a low ceiling attic room, inducing claustrophobia to any and everyone. That’s not the worst part. |The beds are all covered in bedbugs!!! |They tried to move us to another room, but the same situation and mattress is full of stains. |Dishwasher is filthy. |Didn’t stay there long enough to examine anything else. Had to leave and find a new accommodation and pay extortionate prices to compensate YAYS Amsterdam lack of cleanliness and care. STAY AWAY!!!
