I would leave a negative 10 review if I could. I have booked my stay with a coupon code. The whole transaction was completed and not a single time they told me I wasn't allowed to use a coupon code. |One week latter they sent a VERY SHADY email asking me to pay 20% more, because apparently they gave me a rate that they think is too low. In this email they give me 2 days to pay up otherwise they would cancel my stay. |I wasn't happy about it at all. First of all, you can't back track after an agreement was reached by both party, I have paid up and fully fulfilled my part of the deal, its super annoying to have them flip flop on me. Secondly, I would have chose another hotel if I knew it would cost me 20% more, keep in mind I'm booking 2 nights with 2 rooms, this is not a small amount of money. Thirdly, who send a ransom email like that expecting people to just pay up? what if its an internet scam? |So I got into contact with them immediately because I want to confirm with them this email is legit, they indeed planning on doing this. Canceling my stay would be devastating to me, I have book activities and everything around where I would be staying. Also looking for another hotel would mean I have to pay for another stay and wait for them to refund my money, this could take 7-10 business days, which I can't afford. So I really want to make sure everything is in order. |And do you know what they did? They WOULD NOT RESPOND TO ME UNTIL THE DEAD LINE HAS PASSED. Yes I chickened out, I paid up, before I even knew this was legit, I can't have my old grandma and young daughter arriving to a foreign city with no where to stay. But shame on the company for doing shady business like this. |Yes I am writing this review before I even stayed there, I wish I wasn't staying there!
