Ye Olde House Hull Old Town

This is probably the best pub I’ve been to in Hull, the owner Adam is absolutely incredible and so hospitable. He is so lovely and made us feel so welcome, the atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a local pub and we will definitely be returning. I’m so glad to see that the pub was taken over by someone who knows his stuff and is a brilliant host.

When crafting the second stage of Guinness push the tap away from you as this restricts the nitrogen gas to give you a creamy pint right down to the bottom of a pint glass. Nice little pub with lots of character.

Ye Olde House is one of the oldest buildings in hull. It was a cafe and has now been turned into a bar. There are a good selection of draught drinks and bottled continental and Belgian beers. It is a small cosy bar, and there is extra seating and a pool table upstairs.

Well my wife and I eat out a lot and we both loved it here. It's compact downstairs with a small bar that does serve a very decent range of drinks. Their wine is not expensive either. Now remember this is one of the oldest houses in Hull that's been converted into this fantastic pub restaurant. Upstairs is what would have been 2 bedrooms at the end of a sloping corridore which have less than 10 tables each. Toilets in the corridore which were spotless. The owner is a young chef that's worked with Heston Blumenthal and 1884 restaurant in Hull. Now this chef is unreal with his chef skills. The food was fantastic. Good selection on the menu and items not seen before by us. Brawn lollipops deep fried. Seriously tasty food. Great wine and cocktails. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing. Staff were super friendly & attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Had a truly wonderful evening catching up with friends & celebrating a belated birthday. Thank you staff at Old House. It was a pleasure 😁

came to hull googled restaurant and seen the reviews and pictures .thought it looked good but very very disappointed. especially when a level 6 reviewer said it was good . IT WAS NOTstake came back rare when asked for well done more fat than meat. was not told of the two restaurant rooms upstairs. very disappointed .and left half the meal.just be aware..

We stopped by on a Friday evening and were served by a really friendly lady who said she had sausage rolls of different kinds. Proper home made artisan sausage rolls as it turned out...served with a small salad. Delicious!! Reasonably priced too.
