Cool spot but kinda feels like a side quest that ends too quick. The museum is small—you’ll blast through it in minutes—and unless you pay ¥1,800 for the guided tour (mostly in Japanese), you’re not getting much more than posters and old bottles. The tap room is the real draw, but beers run pricey at around ¥1,200 a glass or ¥800 for a sampler, and honestly the taste doesn’t live up to the hype. Worth a quick stop if you’re already in Ebisu Garden Place, but it’s more a polished detour than a full-blown adventure.

Yebisu Beer offers a wide variety of beers and food in a spacious, air-conditioned, factory-like hall. While most restaurants around Ebisu Station are closed during lunch and dinner hours, this one is open.

Lovely and cozy museum + beer hall. The former site of the Yebisu brewery in Tokyo. The museum exhibits are free to view for yourself, or you can book a paid guided tour online in advance. Very nice for anyone interested in Japanese beer and history. The beer hall feels spacious but cozy. The beers on tap are a bit more expensive than the might be elsewhere, but they are some premium and or limited release brews, delicious and perfectly poured and all have a nice description on the menu.

Come for the beer, stay for the magnet. Turns out beer can teach you things! The Ebisu Brewery was a surprisingly enriching experience; equal parts history, hops, and hospitality. I left with a head full of trivia and a fridge magnet in hand. If you like your sightseeing with a side of suds, this place delivers.

If you want to experience fresh Japanese draft beer, I recommend it as a must-visit place. The process of making beer, history, clean quality beer tasting, and even a good atmosphere make you feel good. Visiting during the day is good, but I recommend coming in the afternoon when the evening is set. This is because the outdoor atmosphere in the evening is a very good place. It is a place that many young people visit, and if you want to find a special feeling on a pleasant day, you should visit.

This is one of the nicest breweries we have been to and we have been to many. The museum portion is very well done and informative. The beer is amazing and it’s such a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a beer alone, with friends, a date, or even a large group.

The museum is very short and small but it is free. It was very impressive that the beer which Misato who is the character in Evangelion always enjoyed was the Ebisu. I enjoyed the beer taster set in the tap and it was good experience that I can drink limited beer which is not named.

It's one of the gems in Ebisu and its lounge is particularly relaxing. Many locals and tourists drop by to take a break with the beer on tap. It felt like having a drink in a modern gallery.
