A very interesting and homey place! There is so much beautiful woodwork inside and a great little store downstairs. The service was friendly, the place was very clean, and the food was delicious😋 It tasted like the people who made it made really cared - the bread and ingredients were so fresh and I was amazed they grow/make so much themselves. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Plymouth!

Today was such a long, hot, exhausting day. I explored Plymouth today (using my walker), and I came here lightheaded and in desperate need of something with sugar. When I walked in asking for coffee and tea menus, I was directed upstairs. I looked up in despair. “There’s no way I’m making it up those stairs.” I was offered an elevator but, as tired as I was, I just asked if there was a way I could just order right here. The guy said “absolutely. I’ll get you a menu.” He then brought me a sample of the tea I said looked interesting “mango mate.” It was delicious! I order one! I also asked for one unsweetened so I could mix, as they are quite sweet. Then I realized I left my wallet in the car! So tired, I took a breathe. “Give me just a moment! I left my card in the car!” The gentle said “well that’s just perfect, because this was going to be on the house as our gift to you! Don’t run back to your car.” I nearly cried. Your small act of kindness does not go unnoticed. It made my day. I will be back! Open 24 hours a day five days a week. Fully accessible. Parking along the streets out front. Very kind and friendly, and amazing menu with apparently home-from mate!

Google
Extremely welcoming and comfortable environment! Take your time to look around at all the details put into the place! from the live edge slab tables to the custom iron railings and basket lanterns, it's truly a unique place! I had their chili which was absolutely delicious, and one of their custom sandwiches which was equally amazing. The service was the same 5 star quality as the food. Highly recommend this place!! 👌

Yelp
Super fresh food at this place they have a cute bakery, market, and restaurant. Open 24/7 suprisingly. Restaurant several floors. Had the pina colada smoothie all fresh fruits and got honey from the market really good

Yelp
Really cute spot. Stopped in for lunch and had the Deli rose and PBBH (really unique), with iced lemon mint drink and iced green mate; Sat on the cute breezy front patio, with some peaceful music playing. Very nice!

Yelp
Food is incredible, atmosphere is stellar, woodwork is pristine and the workers are super nice.

Yelp
Such a cozy bakery with unique character and a fireplace with wifi, ample seating indoors (this was during a snowy, cold February weekday afternoon) and on the porch. Walking distance from Plymouth Rock. There is plenty of street and lot parking across across the street (lot was free when I visited). Ordered a cappuccino and sweet potato pound cake was moist with an appropriate amount of sweetness to it. Overall great place to seek warmth, rest your legs and grab a nice bite.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The restaurant is beautiful. The environment is a bit odd after looking into it. The group of people running this restaurant are quite pushy with their beliefs though. We received a booklet about their other locations and beliefs as soon as we got there. It came off as friendly at first but then we realized it had hidden intentions behind that.

Yelp
miss sitting in front of fireplace at blue blinds....different vibe now I don't really like the menu either

Yelp
This place is wonderful!! Every time I go (and it's a lot),I am presented with the deep conundrum of deli waffle or veggie burger. The deli waffle is a spelt Belgian waffle liberally smeared with butter and their own maple syrup. Absolutely exquisite and very reasonably priced. The veggie burger is not trying to be something it isn't. It's not a meat replica, but rather a simple, honest and incredibly delicious vegetable and grains burger. Absolutely out of this world! And with the hours being what they are, there's lots of opportunities to pop in for a meal. Highly recommend. And the craftsmanship of the establishment is incredible!

Yelp
Absolutely love everything about this charming little bakery. This is why I use Yelp as a daily guide because it brings forth discoveries I would not have found on my own. We popped in on the Sunday of the Corona virus hysteria and needed a snack to cheer us up. I choose a delicious blueberry muffin which was extraordinary. My husband opted for the apple crisp which was piled high w sliced apples. Delicious!! Needless to say we couldn't leave without purchasing two more delectable delights! We will definitely

Yelp
Hidden gem in Plymouth. Up the hill and close to the downtown area of the town. Cute, quaint and just what the doctor ordered on a beautiful sunny day. A good friend of mine always raves about this cafe and so one day we went to visit Plymouth with her baby. The cheesecake is marvelous. The coffee is good and strong and the service is amazing. I was a tad bit hungry so I created my own sammich with turkey, cheddar and lettuce and tomato on a bun. It was very yummy. Try the cheesecake. Try the coffee. Try the sammiches. Try EVERYTHING. #Yolo I'd definitely come back!!

Yelp
A cute little cafe. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. We arrived around lunchtime. The cafe is built into an old house. They managed to fit a few tables inside and a few on the porch. It was a nice day out so we decided to eat on the porch. They basically had sandwiches for lunch and we both ended up ordering the Spinwich, which, as the employee said, was basically a quiche sandwich. It came with their house sauce, which was a ketchup base and a sweet bread roll. The bread was so fluffy and good, it was definitely fresh. The sandwiches did take a bit of time to be prepared but we were in no hurry and they were worth the wait. The price was also very reasonable. $8 buys you a big Spinwich that is plenty of food for one person. They also had some good looking freshly baked goods but we were too full to try any. Next time!

Yelp
Char and I were just enjoying a day in Plymouth and stumbled across this place. After stepping into the establishment and seeing the amazing detail and work that went into this beautiful turn of the century style resterant we had to give it a try and they didn't disappoint. The guys who built this place were amazing and the food was even better. I had the chili which came with a hot jalapeño roll and Char had a muffin let us say incredible. If your in the area give it a try you won't be disappointed. Keep up the good work and God bless you and your families.

Yelp
Always maintained, nicely decorated extremely clean inside. The to go shop has very good rich baked goods . The carrot cake and sweet potato breads are so good but so very heavily rich!! Staff are very friendly & helpful ! Also must have a iced matcha tea!!! People are extremely nice and if you take the time to talk with them. There very knowledgeable open about their lives and will even invite you to their home for a great evening of interesting talks, people, delightful setting, phenomenal quality craftsmanship with their renovations to the warren house as well as the restaurant & shops, very very nice people and talented , dinner with their families & children was very enjoyable with delightful interactions with music & dancing!!! Lots of awesome people if you give them a chance!!!

Yelp
I come here with my Dad all the time. They are always so nice and welcoming, the food is delicious and comes right out and the prices are so fair. The environment, overall is warm and cozy and a great working environment. Free Wi-Fi! I come here every time I visit home

Yelp
There's something wrong with those please. I don't like them anyways. I got food poisoning there once. and they were kind of rude to me. and do some research and you'd probably see why. A little color discrimination with the order is not my Cup of tea. try the bagel place down the road they're really good.

Shane D.

Yelp
INCREDIBLE: most gorgeous cafe or restaurant I've ever seen...anywhere! It's a fairytale come to life. What a treasure.

Yelp
We landed at Logan Airport and drove to Plymouth to see the town and have breakfast. Had I known it was owned by a cult who preaches hateful sermons, we would've gone elsewhere. The dude who took our order was nice. We sat in the dining area where the wallpaper is filled with pilgrim scenes of their harsh life in America. It's sort of a creepy feel. Like that movie, "Get Out!" The French toast and egg over toast was OK. I likes the latte more than the food.

Hester D.

Yelp
Ordered granola and I asked for yogurt. We were charged $5 for the yogurt. Not sure how people are supposed to eat granola? The order took a long time (25 min) with 4 staff members. The 2 stars are for the price and a very clean bathroom.

Yelp
There are so many tasty treats that I end up having to stock up when I do my yearly visit here (Plymouth). They used to be Common Ground in Lower Mills but have since changed things up like their name & locations. They are super friendly & everything they do as a collective is great. You just can't go wrong w/ whatever you get. They have a take-out area, bakery, & restaurant, so do what works for you when getting your items. I was sad that they lacked any pumpkin items so I ended up w/ some sweet potato bread which is still pretty damn tasty. I may not agree w/ their religious beliefs but the thing is I am there for their food & beverage, so it's fine. I do find it surprising that folks aren't wearing masks though during a pandemic.

Yelp
Best bakery, love the 4 seed spelt bread. Breakfast sandwich my all time favorite along with Chai. Did I mention the key line pie is the best you will find around hear.

Anne M.

Yelp
The food was just ok . I ordered a Ruben . The bread was not rye . It was not grilled . The cheese did not taste like Swiss. I would guess mozzarella. There was mustard on it not Thousand island dressing . It had corned beef and sauerkraut and it was warm . It was completely edible just not what I consider a Ruben . I will not order it again .

Yelp
Blue Blinds Bakery resides in a house, with a porch, and you can seat yourself either at the porch or at one of the tables in their dining room to the right once you enter. Order and pay at the counter and they'll bring your food to you. You can bust your own table, or if you leave your mess behind, you might want to drop a tip there too. The ladies ahead of us in line recommended the cinnamon roll. Sadly, they also ended up ordering the last two rolls. A regular highly recommended the fish chowder, and for sweets, the same cinnamon roll and the blueberry blinds, a pastry with a blueberry and cream cheese filling. For lunch, the two of us shared a blueberry blind (I liked the cream cheese filling, I wonder if they would have heated it if we had asked as that would have surely improved it), a bowl of the fish chowder $4.75 (tasty, but the brothy sort, while this girl leans toward the creaminess of the New England style chowders, so it wasn't as satisfying as it could have been), and one of their Spinwich sandwiches ~ Eggs, Onions, Spinach, Parmesan, Pepper Jack & Cheddar Cheese on a buttered Roll with our own special sauce $6.50 (it was tasty, with a touch of heat from the sauce, but it turned out to be basically an omelette tucked in a soft roll). Blue Blinds Bakery is closed on Saturdays. If you know you want a cinnamon roll, the fellow at the counter mentioned that they would have saved me one if I had called ahead.

Yelp
I love this place it's been a favorite place of mine for a long time the home made pastrys and bread are so fresh I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Anne S.

Yelp
I cannot really give a true rating as I only went in and walked around. Everything looked amazing with regard to the decor, and we walked around the upstairs where there is a coffee bar which I mistook it for a "bar" (i.e. serving alcohol!!). Boy was I wrong! I was told by a man with a very stern face that there is absolutely no alcohol. I had no idea when we went in that the establishment was run by a religious cult until I saw some of the literature. We were all given a little book to read about The Separtists which is actually quite interesting. Anyway, although the food looked very nice, I would be most reluctant to actually eat there due to the circumstances of the cult which I find very disturbing and strange. However, each to his own as they say!

Yelp
My husband got the mixed berry pie (and an iced coffee) and I got the cheesecake (and an iced coffee). He doesn't do straight berry pies without ice cream however mixing the two of our pies together one by after another was absolutely succulent. I highly recommend this place. And the coffee is very robust which is very refreshing.

Yelp
This is a cute place in downtown Plymouth MA but the menu , in my opinion , is extremely limited.
google avatar

Henry P.

Yelp
Everything is always top shelf, fresh, home Made and served by the best staff. Quaint building, with a working fireplace and lovely pumpkin pine floors. When it's busy, it's busy. They close when they run out of goods on the weekends. Truly a hidden gem in Plymouth! Five stars.

Arianne Victoria A.

Yelp
I liked the decorations and set up of the place. Gave it a quaint and warm aura. BUT I came in for coffee and it took almost an eternity for someone to come up and take my order. There wasn't really any customer service from my first impression. I ordered to iced coffees and the lady not sure if she was new or not did not know how to make it. She kept asking the other guy in the back how to do it and he wasn't even giving clear instructions either. Made a really bad first visit for me AND my iced coffee was way too milky and could not taste any coffee flavor whatsoever. Eck.

Yelp
Yelp strikes again! So glad we looked on Yelp and found this terrific bakery. It's a historical old house nicely converted into a charming and cozy bakery coffee house. Yes, there were long lines to place the order, but once you've had the pastries, food and coffee you see just why it's busy - it's terrific! We sat on the porch and enjoyed our beverage and meal in a great quiet setting. What a treat! Thank you for making our Plymouth visit that much better.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
TASTY! the employees are super friendly and the actual restaurant part is beautiful, you can sit overlooking the street. i only got take out

Yelp
Just got the Buffalo rancher sandwich to go. Probably one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever eaten. PLUS when you walk in, all the staff are so genuinely kind! Highly recommend this place!

Robin G.

Yelp
Although I don't like the name of the place, the building is beautiful and my sandwich was excellent. I got the steamed rueben. Delicious

Michael S.

Yelp
I love this place ! The yogurt and granola are excellent and their baked goods are the best in Plymouth Thank You !

Yelp
Tucked away on quaint North St. in historic downtown Plymouth is one of the areas best hidden gems. Run by a global religious community called "The Twelve Tribes", the local Plymouth chapter owns and operates both the Blue Blinds Bakery and the Common Sense store. The rustic charm and ambiance of the bakery reflects the tribes ideological embrace of a simpler time when the world lived and breathed at a quieter, slower pace. The establishment is clean and well maintained, and the staff friendly and courteous. The food itself is always well prepared and there is a variety of freshly baked breads to choose from daily. Regardless of the time of day, I often stop in to get my fix of egg and cheddar on rustic garlic spinach bread. The chili is excellent, the spanakopita flaky and delicious, and the grilled cheese the best I've had since I was a young lad. I also recommend the vanilla chai latte and lemon matte. If you find yourself downtown Plymouth, be sure and visit this unique and delicious destination. Your taste buds will thank you!

Yelp
Loved this cute deli! Stopped by on a road trip. Food was flavorful. Would recommend.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem in Plymouth. Coffee is good and the baked goods are amazing. They do all organic food here. We got an almond cranberry Biscotti, a bar, and a chewy ginger cookies. Everyone should stop here when they are in town visiting. This cute little cafe is charming, service is nice and warm. I can spend all day sitting here. What a great cafe.

Yelp
I'm happy with everything any time I eat here. You should eat a full meal and then take home a loaf of bread.

Donna R.

Yelp
Super cute place in an old home off the main street. Lovely pastries at a reasonable price and high quality taste!! Sat outside on the quaint porch. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Yelp
They get 5 stars from me. Inside the atmosphere is cozy and refreshing. I could see the people who operate this fantastic place are excited about what they do, and really enjoy sharing it with people who appreciate it. The food they offer is incredible. They bake their own everything. Super fresh and homy. The beverages they have look amazing, and they have an excellent tea and coffee selection. Hands down the best customer service I've seen. Our table wasn't level, we didn't mind but the gentleman that brought us our breakfast notice and hurried out back to get something to wedge under the leg. In another situation, a man who seemed like a regular was talking about going to look for a certain product at a local farmers market, so the man working called ahead to see if they had that item available. They just go above and beyond for everyone and anyone. I feel much better supporting fresh & local businesses, especially these guys. I will be going there often I'm sure.

Rebeca N.

Yelp
Loved the sandwiches!! The bread was so fresh and delicious! And the staff went above and beyond to make suggestions on the menu and have a friendly conversation with us.

Yelp
Apple crisp and coffee while hanging out on the porch. What more could you want on a beautiful afternoon. Delicious!!!!

Yelp
Very helpful, positive people and delicious pastries . I especially love their fest in Christmas and hot apple cider. Thank you!!!!

Yelp
Nice spot to sit and drink a very good cup of coffee along with awesome dessert. I went there with my kids in off season day, the whole family enjoyed the waffles. I got latte for myself and my wife which were very nice and smooth. For sure, I am going back again but I think this place will be crowded in summer.
google avatar

k b.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast! We got the Egg & Cheddar. Two pieces of their delicious bread with melted cheddar on top then a sunny side up egg. Delicious and enough for two if your not terribly hungry. We also had the waffle. Whipped cream and maple syrup....how can you go wrong with that? Coffee was great as well.

Morgan L.

Yelp
Just had lunch with my youngest at the Yellow Deli To Go shop on North St. in historic Plymouth MA. Unbelievable!! (Yes, there are several limited, but cozy tables to sit--like breakfast at home!) Not sure which is more filling the delicious aroma of the fresh-baked breads (try the sourdough), or the taste of the food. The staff so obviously, genuinely LOVES helping people and are warm and ever-friendly. I ordered what turned out to be THE BEST roast beef sandwich (add cheddar melted in). I'll never be able to eat the typical grainy chewy RB again--God is my witness, somehow these wonderful folks make a sandwich so tender it melts in your mouth! My challenge next time (read soon!) will be to try yet a different item on their robust menu. Although we were served quickly, this is not fast food; its last food--as in once you've had it, its the last place (and the only) you'll want to go!! So GO! Eat!

Yelp
Rustic, Quality, Inexpensive! THIS is the place you're looking to go to! I make it a point to always stop in whenever I'm in the area. Inexpensive, quality, LOCAL, and artisan produced foods. Fair-Trade coffee, Yerba Mate & Tea, AMAZING baked goods, and Hearty, Crusty, Fresh Bread! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the ambience makes it feel as though you are eating in a cafe from the colonial days.
google avatar

Mariya H.

Yelp
If you're looking for a colonial setting to enjoy some quality time with your loved ones, this is the place to go! So close to Plymouth Rock and small town shops.. The perfect location for an unique petite bakery! With striking artwork all over the walls and servers dressed in colonial outfits.. What a great place to experience the way the settlers would have looked and how homes would have been designed! The sandwiches and soups are so scrumptious as well as their deliciously brewed teas! A favorite place to attend when ever we come to visit Plymouth , we always leave happy!
