One of the best restaurants we visited on our entire trip to Ireland. I can't recommend this place enough if you are a vegetarian! The shepardless pie was amazing! The sweet potato salad was great as well. I really appreciated the large selection of local craft beer.

Good place for a meal alone or in a group. Fast, attentive service. Prawn starter was slightly over cooked, prawns were slightly chewy but tasty. Braised beef mains was very good. I dread to think how much butter or cream was in the mash.

Three friends from Dublin.. We booked in advance and glad we did its a busy place. We were greeted warmly shown to our table. Service fast water brought drinks order taken. Given time to read the menu as we did this I noticed a lot of lamb coming out from kitchen so that's what I ordered. My friends ordered fish and chips. The fish was in golden batter light to taste they both commented how crispy the chips were delicious. Now the lamb shank... lips smacking good fell of the bone no struggle it was served with creamy mash velvety jus that looked rich in colour and was equally rich in flavour..Delicious. I was drive so had a cappuccino and Ice cream to finish. The coffee was hot which I love usually cappuccino is only warm and it was served with a smile a bit of banter. Service throughout was professional friendly not intrusive. Good atmosphere too..If in Letterkenny book your table and enjoy. Ann Jean Marcella.

We were excited to give it a try after a long day as it came highly recommended. We made a reservation and the restaurant was packed and lively when we arrived. The presentation and service were good, but unfortunately, the food (chilli prawns & pasta, fish & chips) tasted of nothing. The pasta tasted like my own home cooking (passable but unremarkable) and the generous fish portion had no flavor at all. Just disappointed.

I go here for special occasions all the time and love it. I really wish they’d bring back the slow cooked beef rib because that was honestly the best dish I’ve had at this restaurant.

So i didn't book, I just turned up. The place was packed and I didn't expect to get a seat. The lovely waitress asked me to wait, about 10mins, and there was a table available for me. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. I had seafood platter to start and it was full of mussels, squid, chowder, and mackerel. Delish. I would love to return with friends to share the experience with them.

Yelp
We had a great experience of dining and wonderful service at Yellow Pepper. In Letterkenny for a wedding and wanted to find a place for dinner, not too far from where we were staying. We walked into Yellow Pepper without a reservation and were graciously met by Naomi, who was simply terrific! The food, ambience and service were outstanding. In fact, it was so great that we decided to spend the second night at the restaurant and the food again was superb. If you find yourself in or near Letterkenny, I would definitely make Yellow Pepper a required stop for fine dining.

Yelp
The food and service were amazing. We had a full dish menu with steak / salmon and this was the best main dish till now during our vacation on Ireland. The service was very helpful and ask where we are from and what we are going to next. At the end we had apple pie as dessert and I loved it. Also, you get water for free. Finally, the food was good but also not the cheapest.

Yelp
On Ireland group tour staying overnight in Letterkenny. Seafood platter was great. I think I'm going to move here just to eat the mussels every day.

Yelp
I was in a group of 25 and this place managed to make it seem very personal. The service and food were outstanding. Many of the folks at our table took advantage of the fresh Donegal mussels for their starter course while I chose the Eastern Spiced Chicken (with mango dip). These were hefty servings and nicely prepared. For our main, over half our table chose the Donegal lamb shanks -- very succulent and so tenderly cooked the meal fell off the bone. There were ample sides on the plate (champ and carrots), but the table also shared extra veggies that were passed family style. Among the desserts we tried were an Irish Moss Custard and an Almond-Fudge Ice Cream (we would call it a sundae in the states). Most of us were full enough from the first 2 courses, we barely finished our desserts. This really is a don't-miss restaurant -- atmosphere, food, and an ample selection of craft beers.

Yelp
This is a very nice place. Gorgeous inside, friendly service, great drinks and a delicious food. We had some nice local craft brews, followed by the purely fantastic homemade shepherd's pie. At least I did, the pie was so good I can't remember whatever the wife had.

Yelp
Went here on the recommendation of our AirBnB host and it didn't disappoint! The service was efficient and friendly, despite some indecision on what to get, and the food was great amd local! We went in pretty late so there were only a few tables filled. I opted for the salmon amd BF got the dry aged filet. When the food came out, my BF's dish didn't seem cooked all the way through (very very rare probably bc it was a pretty thick cut and the kitchen wanted to go home), so he had to ask them to refire it a bit. My salmon was excellent however. He was happy with the flavor of the steak once it was properly cooked, although it seemed a bit tough to cut. We ended with the profiteroles, which were fantastic and we had to hold back from licking the plate clean. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Yelp
What a great place! We had the mussles to share as our appetizer and then each ordered the poached salmon which did not disappoint! Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Very lovely dinner.

Yelp
We were driving back from Glenveagh national park and stopped here for an early dinner. The restaurant seems to offer a pretty wide variety of food at a somewhat elevated prep but without a lot of fuss. Little did we know that they have a value menu if you come to eat before 6:30 (I think). The menu offers a smaller portion of the menu but you get 2 courses for 16.50 euro or 3 courses for 20 euro. Great deal. We ordered the steamed mussels and vegetable soup as the first course and the fish and chips and pork belly as our mains. The prep on the mussels was good but not too complicated (parsley, onions and wine). The vegetable soup was tasty. The fish and chips was very good altho we didn't get enough tartar sauce for the size of fish. The chips were good. The pork belly was crispy and on a chorizo cassoulet with some blood sausage. Great combo. I also really liked their acoustic covers of big hits that was playing in the restaurant. I'm sure it made my pork belly taste that much better. By the time we left at 7:30, the restaurant was totally full so perhaps if you come then, you may need a reservation. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area

Yelp
Really great place. Working in letterkenny for a few days and followed yelp to this place. Had scallops and Spanish style cod, both great. I don't eat meat, so the category of "steakhouse" made me think. But this is a great restaurant whatever you eat. Wish I had a place like this near home back in London.

Yelp
Stopped in after a long drive from Dublin-( a return visit to this restaurant form last year). Was not disappointed. Cozy and hospitable with a wonderful array of locally sourced items . Creative and savory dishes well priced and waitstaff was outstanding.

Yelp
Had a great meal here. Combination of steady staples and chefs specials. Sampled the Eastern Chicken to start and the had the lamb special. Both were terrific.

Yelp
Followed the yelp reviews and went with this place when we were looking for somewhere to eat. Have to say that all those 4 & 5 star reviews on yelp are spy on. There is a lovely atmosphere in this place and the staff are extremely friendly. Food is reasonably priced, well presented and flavorsome. I can recommend the goats cheese crostonis they were delicious.

Yelp
Great food. Waiter was amazing. Lamb shank was perfect. Duck was Devine. Desserts were fantastic. Only negative was no Guinness on tap. But if that's the only complaint I'm just nit-picking. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Newly refurbished and prices have come down. Excellent food and probably the most popular restaurant in town, May require bookings for busy times but well worth a visit.

Yelp
Most popular place in town, good food and nice atmosphere which makes the wait for food all the nicer.
