How to Plan an Unforgettable Yellowstone Camping Trip

"Chico Hot Springs Resort’s Camp Conestoga is located about 45 minutes north of Yellowstone National Park. Guests can stay in pioneer-style covered wagons equipped with heat and electricity. The camp is within walking distance to the resort's natural hot springs."

We recently celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday at Yellowstone Hot Springs in Gardiner, MT, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff truly cares about the property and their guests, which is something you don’t find everywhere. They went above and beyond by decorating my husband’s suite for his birthday—it made the trip feel so personal and special. The suites are gorgeous, with every detail thoughtfully done, and the views from the hot springs are simply breathtaking. Sitting in the pools, surrounded by mountains, was pure magic. My personal favorite was the kneipp walk experience—what a unique and refreshing ritual! And let’s not forget the excellent coffee—a small detail, but it made the mornings even better. This place is a true bucket-list destination, and we left feeling refreshed, celebrated, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a mix of relaxation, beauty, and genuine hospitality, Yellowstone Hot Springs is the place to go! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
Drive to the Gold Fork Hot Springs was 6 1/2 miles off highway 4 miles on a dirt road next to a mountain stream nice drive . Upon arrival it’s set in the side of the mountain and shaded from the west sun. Greeted nicely $18 dollars for two hours which was plenty. Nice range of hot Springs (6) at different temperatures from 100 to 108 degrees. Snacks and drinks available for a price. Nice changing room with lockers. No showers. Beautiful setting. I enjoyed it very much and will go back again.

Google
Yellowstone Hot Springs is in a lovely location with beautiful views all around. The pool and surrounding grounds are well kept and clean. Separate locker rooms and shower areas for men and women are available. There are tables and chairs, lounge chairs, shaded areas, and even yard games. We loved the large warm pool with ample seating in the design. The hot pool was really hot - so nice. The cold plunge pool was very cold. It’s a great combination. We went in the morning at 10 am and again in the evening at 8 pm. Neither time felt too crowded or busy. It was well worth the ticket!

As a board member of Hope & The Holidays, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yellowstone Hot Springs for their generous donation to our recent silent auction. Their support helped us raise vital funds that will go toward supporting families in need this holiday season. Nestled between mountain ranges and just minutes from Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone Hot Springs offers a truly restorative experience. With mineral-rich waters flowing through hot, warm, and cold pools, guests can soak in serenity while gazing at eagles soaring above Paradise Valley. The peaceful setting, friendly staff, and commitment to wellness make it a destination that nourishes both body and soul. We’re incredibly grateful for their partnership, and we encourage everyone to support local businesses like Yellowstone Hot Springs that bring warmth, healing, and generosity to our Montana community.

So. If you went to Mammoth Springs in Yellowstone and got it in your head you really wanted a hot springs bathing experience, this is your closest option. Is it your best option? Questionable. Here's the skinny; it's a 'budget resort'. Yes, it's location is stunning; located in a valley with stunning views of the mountains and river. But the resort is showing its age a bit. There are two tubs, one hot water, one is cold. And a heated pool they are both located within. The hot tub wasn't nearly as hot as I had been hoping. And the waters really dried out our skin, which makes me wonder where the water really comes from and how/if it's treated. I didn't get that good lithium/mineral soak experience I've had at other natural hot springs. That being said, it's very affordable! The grounds are nicely manicured, and there's an attached little cafe. There's a discount offered at the hot springs if you stay within the campground, which we did. Tight campsites, but it was still nice by the river. Camp tip; skip doing laundry there. See my other review for more on that.

Google
Beautiful pools in cold, warm, and hot. Well taken care of with cool, grassy knolls and gazebo areas. We spent all day (about 7 hours!) enjoying the waters with our 3 children (9, 7, 3.5 yrs). Very safe and family friendly, it’s all contained so no concerns about children getting out. We did not stay in the hotel but were in town for the day.

Google
My family and I were greeted by a very rude elderly lady at the front desk . She was preaching about a customer smelling like marijuana. lol. Either way we still went forward. The locker rooms didn’t have changing rooms or stalls for the lil one. Outside was good . Pools were decent. No temps ,just guess it. No food or alcohol. Great views , lots of potential .

Google
This was a great stop just outside Gardiner after our Yellowstone visit. I can't speak to the rooms as we only visited the hot springs. Upon parking, the premises surrounded by a wall looked really basic. But after we paid the reasonable entrance fee and entered, we were thrilled to see a beautiful pool surrounded by a grassy area with plenty of shade and seating, and beyond it mountain ridges that take your breath away. It was great fun to plunge into the cold pool followed by the hot tub. The main pool is warm (think bath water). Do note that this place is family-friendly, so there will likely be kids during the school holidays. I know mine got a bit rambuctious. I looked at three hot springs options (+ Bozeman Hot Springs and Chico) and am glad we chose this one.

Yelp
Great ambiance and so relaxing under the stars. So recommend for a perfect reset! 3 separate pools plus a challenge hot/cold section for body and soul.

Yelp
Time of year: Mid-July around noon My nieces and I drove almost 2 hours to relax and soak in these mineral hot springs (1st time to go here). While the pool area was nice, the pool itself was filled with bugs and hair clumps that stuck to our arms while we sat in the water. in fact, there were so many we started collecting them with our hands and pushed them into the filter and then decided to leave because the idea of relaxing was not happening here. The floor was slimy and paint chipping. For such a gorgeous setting, I think a little more effort in cleaning would go a long way for your business.

Yelp
Nice place, not too crowded (in December). The only thing to improve would be some outdoor heaters or covered area to eat lunch. We observed most people eating in their cars because there wasn't a warm place inside for eating in the cold months when you're all wet from the pool. Good thing they allow in and out privileges and you can bring your own food. Great for kids.

Yelp
Ok....i have to believe that the 5 star ratings are for the Hot Springs, because the RV park SUCKS....absolutely no shade and no trees on the Electric only side, the Full Hook Up side has shade, but there's only like 7 spots. The fire pit has no grill to use. The picnic benches are warped and uncomfortable and their firewood emits an odd off putting odor (basically shit wood at premium prices)....PLUS the best part......massive amounts of small gnats that crawl through your screen, when I say tons, I mean so many that your lantern will have so many bugs you will lose light. I enjoyed the Hot Springs (5 stars there). but no kidding, if you RV'ers put up with this kinda low quality campgrounds at premium prices.....no wonder these campgrounds deliver shit accommodations....and that's coming from an Eagle Scout and US Marine!!

Yelp
We spontaneously visited Yellowstone Hot Springs after a long day in Yellowstone. It's on the same grounds as a campground and I would describe it as a "Campground Spa". For a Thursday afternoon (Aug '23) it was very busy. THE EXPERIENCE: ~The hot springs complex consists of: One large wading/swim pool One smaller round 'hot' tub/pool One smaller round 'cold' tub/pool One shallow trench of water that you walk through for your feet Loungers, tables and grassy areas Front reception/shop Lockers/changing room Shower/toilet facilities Parking in front ~Nestled amongst the mountains, nice grounds and scenery. ~Entry fee was $15 (Adult, Aug '23). ~Towel rental available. ($4, Aug '23). ~The front check-in area/reception is where you pay, get your locker key, (one-time use locker for 50 cents), rent towels ($4) and purchase swimsuits, etc. I had to ask the front-desk person how the lockers worked, etc. she wasn't very forthcoming with information. ~The locker room has curtained changing cubicles and small lockers that can only be used ONCE or else you have to pay 50 cents again. (I recommend they upgrade to 'keypad' lockers). Don't bring a massive amount of stuff with you as the lockers are small. ~The bathroom/shower area was not very inviting and a bit run down. ~The large pool is mostly for wading/standing although it is deep enough to swim, but most people weren't actually swimming. It is supposedly a mineral pool, but it didn't smell or feel 'minerally' to me. It could have been regular water for all I knew. The cold and hot pools were fun and we did those several times, but again, they felt like regular water. ~There's not much shade -- wear your hats/glasses/sunscreen/rash guards! ~We accidentally parked at the campground when we first arrived as it's the first building you encounter. Ooops! An employee told us to keep going. I wonder how many people have done that? Perhaps better signage would be a good idea? :) Overall, it was an okay experience and somewhere relaxing to end the day. WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED? The locker room and bathroom facilities need a major upgrade. The pools are nice, but I didn't feel any 'mineral water' effects from them compared to other mineral spas/pools I've visited. The woman on the front desk could be a little more customer oriented.

Yelp
Clean facility and friendly staff. We had a great experience visiting here. I would recommend it anyone considering going. The kids had a great time as well.

Liz M.

Yelp
We rented one of the new suites. While it's new inside, the surrounding property is awful and dirty! Mobile homes are next to the property and it looks like it's falling all apart. The suites are horribly stocked. Don't think about trying to cook. There was an oven but no pan to cook anything in the oven. They gave you 1 pod to wash one load only of dishes. The supplies were awful! It's not a functioning home really. It's a place to sleep outside of Gardiner. Skip this place and stay in the town of Gardiner.

Yelp
I didn't plan on my Montana vacation resulting in me going to every hot spring in the bozeman/livingston/emigrant area but it happened! I literally went to ALL of them and Yellowstone wins by a mile. So much that I went back, twice! I can't say enough about the level of relaxation you can achieve here. You are enveloped 360 by mountain views that instantly put you at visual peace. They have three different pool temperatures so you can maximize the benefits of each. After 15 minutes you'll feel a intense state of relaxation you were not even pursuing, it just happens! The staff are lovely and really leave you alone to enjoy the meticulously cared for space they have created. A huge shout out to the landscaping crew, the grounds are stunning. Yes the locker rooms don't have the most modern finishes and are a bit dated, but this place has been around a while, and they are well cared for and perfectly clean. Besides, no one spends more than 2 minutes in a locker room! All the amazing parts of these springs are in the name.... OUTSIDE... at the HOT SPRINGS! If you are looking for a five star hot spring experience and not a 5 star locker room experience, come here FIRST! Side Story: On our last day in Montana we decided to give Chico hot springs a try because it was at the base of one of our hiking trails. Paid $50 for three of us get in, got in the chico pool for 3 minutes when my son looked at me and said "This place s*cks. Let's bounce and go back to Yellowstone" And we got out immediately and went to Yellowstone! That's a good indication of the level of difference you'll find here!

Yelp
We came here September 2022. They were actually offering discounted entry fees at the time just because the area was so dead due to Yellowstone's North entrance being closed from the flooding damage. I'm glad that we still came to the area just for one night to support the businesses in the Gardiner area. We had a lovely evening in the hot springs. It was a great way to relax in the different pools of varying temperatures. Can't beat the beauty around you either. The only area of recommendation for improvement would be service. The lady at the front was not sociable or friendly. We had never been there before, and it would be nice to receive explanation. I even asked where to go after we paid - went through the doors not realizing we were supposed to shower before getting into the different pools - I don't think many people do and just walk through like I did. Definitely recommend if you are in the area for a relaxing spot after adventures in the area!

Yelp
Worst experience ever. It's literally hot tubs, not natural springs. Locker rooms are horrible and dirty
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
Large pool & tubs... lots of open outdoor space with plenty of room to spread out. The staff was friendly and views all around are phenomenal. The changing rooms & restrooms aren't the nicest but are adequate. I like the amenities & refreshments better at Chico Hotsprings but this place definitely has the better views!

Nicole H.

Yelp
Front desk lady was unnecessarily rude to us when we were just asking to purchase tickets. Pools were full of children and bandaids. Terrible experience.
google avatar

Alisa B.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED it here. The best soaking experience by far! They've got 3 different pools with 3 different temps. A cold plunge pool, a very large warm pool, and the hot pool. They also created a "walk" you can do that consists of starting in the hot pool, doing the "walk" thing (you'll see it if you go...it's awesome), plunging into the cold then back to the hot. IT. IS. PHENOMENAL. My husband and I were there for about 4 hours and our bodies felt AMAZING afterward...absolutely amazing. What the thermal shocking does for your body is incomparable to any of the nearby hot springs. Great set up all around!

Yelp
The Yellow Stone Hot Springs was really a great experience. they have 3 POOLS, a cold dip, a hot pool with jets about 85-90 degrees, and a very hot pool about 96 or hotter. The amazing experience is it is real mineral water they harvest and the view is the Yellowstone River and surrounded by the mountains I could even see one lone buffalo way on the top of the ridge I did not have a bathing suit and my husband did not have swim trunks but we were able to purchase them there. The cost was 15 dollars to get in and soak as long as you like! A really great experience thank you Yellowstone Hot Springs my ACHEY SHOULDER feels SO MUCH BETTER now.

Yelp
Came here during our trip to Yellowstone after a long day of hiking and boy was it relaxing! This place offered free entry for my gf's birthday which was nice! $15 for an all day in and out pass which was awesome. Men and women's locker rooms that led straight to the hot spring area. The main pool was a nice 100 degree pool and there were smaller cold and hotter pools around. Beautiful views of the Montana mountains surrounded the facility and beautiful lights and fire pits were turned on at night. Pool was not crowded at all and even had powerful massage jets. Definitely make it a point to come visit here if you plan on visiting Yellowstone

Yelp
Such a cute little place! My family and I were traveling to yellowstone and was in Gardiner but we couldn't check in and it was raining, we asked the front desk what we can do in the time being and this was the place she suggested! It was a little packed but nothing too bad. Felt really nice afterwards and a great place to revisit.

Yelp
We spent a lovely afternoon with our kids at this host springs. Definitely family friendly, they even had free floaters and googles for our girls and a good variety of pools (both in temperature and depth), even when my youngest needed a suit they had some that we could borrow. Highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Beth S.

Yelp
Hot springs pool was beautifully done and relaxing! My family enjoyed going from the cold pool to the warmest pools but I enjoyed staying in the middle! Nice locker rooms and changing areas they sell, snacks and drinks, bathing suits, goggles and swim gear.
google avatar

Steve O.

Yelp
A great place to relax after several days of hiking. Pools are fed from a thermal on the Yellowstone River. 3 pools: hot is 106 degrees, cold is 66 degrees, medium is 90 degrees. Really nice staff and clean bathhouses. No alcohol allowed so great for families. Makes a great stop for your last day at Yellowstone or after rafting. Price is for all day, so you can leave, go eat, and come back. They also sell Wilcoxson's ice cream in a cooler by the door as an added bonus. Bring your own towels.
google avatar

Patricia J.

Yelp
Very friendly and inviting..very family oriented yet very relaxing. The water felt great and we slept and felt great after being in the springs. I also liked the idea of having a locker room to change in and even had towels to rent and swimsuits to purchase.

Melissa R.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place a negative star. Their customer service by management is absolutely unprofessional. We had a bunch of family together to celebrate my daughter's wedding and decided to go soak after the crazy weekend and catch up since some we hadn't seen for years. I took out my phone to show my sister in law a video from the wedding when a lady in the pool said I am not listening to this shit and got out of the pool. She then flipped us off and stormed in to get management. At this point we still don't know what we did. They come out and want us to apologize to her all the while she is screaming at us, telling us we don't belong her. My whole family was born and raised in this county and my grandfather was a highway patrol for over 20 years. Management asked us to leave and let this psycho Karen stay. Had she simply asked I would have turned it off. I asked management to show me where it says no videos or music in their policies and rules. They could not. All of this over a minute long video. Do not go there if you want to relax and be treated with respect because this place offers neither. So sad. You should be ashamed of your management team.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Full disclosure--We didn't go in to the pools. They are not at all like the pictures on the website! I thought I was at the wrong place. Just prepare yourself for something not as advertised.

Yelp
Omg...if I could soak in here everyday..I would! I highly recommend anyone (any ages) to just relax and enjoy the open fresh air & soak up the beautiful views of mountains surrounding this place. I am ecstatic to have found this place in Corwin Springs...only 7 miles from where we were staying in Gardiner. Check out their websites for specific directions but it's not hard to find it, they do have a billboard on the main road. The place is located next to a campground. We walked into the small main check in place...simple process stated in the website. The lady checking us in was very friendly and welcoming. The women will then proceed to the ladies room and the men will proceed to the other side of the door. The ladies area opens up to the lockers, changing rooms, bathrooms and shower. Then you walk out into the spa area. There's 3 main pools...the main nice warm pool 98'-100', the hot pool is about 103'-106' and the cold plunge is about 65'. We talked to one of the staff there...a very nice guy who told us the place was pretty new opened in 2018 and they have more plans for expansion. The thermal natural hot spring water are tested for the temperature and continued circulating water is clean and mineral filled. There's different spots with different pressure jets that he explained to us in the main pool and different heights that any ages can go in there. The main pool is perfect to sit there and relax, melting the stress and tension in my body after hiking. Then go through the Kneipp ritual...rough paved stone walk through the hot water and then cold water on your feet for circulation. Someone told me to do it 7 times around and then head to the cold plunge pool and soak there before heading to the hot tub and soak. Couple times of repetitive cycle helps with blood circulation and rejuvenating freshness. This place reminds me of Thermëa in Winnipeg, Canada which is one of my favorite spa places. My family and I felt great after that especially with the natural spring water that is not nasty like chlorine...leaving your skin soft and moisturized. Highly recommend if you are in the area of North Yellowstone Park.

Yelp
What a total scam the photos online give this resort a beautiful layout with lots of space and huge hotsprings pools connected to the campground ground with lots of tent space and RVs on the other side beautiful online pictures.... so we booked a family first vacation out of our home State. Just to be catfished into making a reservation at the muddest slum run nasty, garbage all strung out from the turn in ... No parking spaces, tiny drive way not to forget the passed the homeless couple on the covered patio by the office... The Tent spaces planned back to back with a little to no space for family fun and the micro space provided for camping makes it impossible to try and set a tent in 2" of mud you cant even park near the site so sliding in the mud bank back and forther to your car to gather supplies I can say we would not ever recommend. The areas ment for campers to use were run down with one bbg and picnic bench and gazebo falling apart, stinky bathrooms and spendy showers make this one hell hole of a place. Then to be told the hotsprings are not really part of the campground but can use the hotsprings for extra fees and they look like fenced off baby pool man made hot tubs ... Not a hot spring at all I know our refund is not coming back because this is one gigantic scam please use that to really make your place look up to your online photos and treat your camper with better care... I will be placing this review in every area I can to tell people how much of a scam this location is and how ashamed your facility should be for advertising such a beautiful location when in reality it's one run down dump Montana must truly be disappointed, because this was the worst campground we found when our "paradise" family vacation at Yellowstone hotsprings turn disaster . Never would I ever tell such lies just to get peoples hard earned, saved up money... Terrible experience with a horrible campground.... Shame on you

Yelp
Showed up at 8:45pm. There was no paperwork left for us. So my husband went inside. The older man in the office refused to look anything up on the computer. He had us searching through our emails only to never find any site number. This entire thing escalated when a younger kid showed up and acted like they were being victimized by my husband. We found this strange behavior since all we needed was our sight number so we could settle in for the evening. After realizing no one was going to help us we asked for a refund. They proceeded to tell us that they couldn't give a refund and we would have to call a manager another time. Then they went Into the office and locked the doors. And stood behind them watching us. The younger kid making taunting gestures to my husband. Police showed up we got a refund and they told the police we couldn't stay there. ABANDONED.. We left with our entire family at 10:30pm after being in Yellowstone since 9pm in an RV with everything closed around us. Unsafe. This one one of tbe stragest things that's happened to me. Terrible customer service and so much unnecessary drama.

Yelp
Best experience I could ever ask for. Norman was just amazing with us. We had a nice and relaxing time here. Beautiful place and amazing vibe.

Kendra G.

Yelp
A worker at the hotel I was staying at recommended this hot springs when I inquired if there were any around to sit and relax in. This place was great! Very relaxing! Well kept. Great views. Nice employees! They do rent towels and have small coin operated lockers. There are also changing rooms.

Anne S.

Yelp
Love that there is the opportunity to contrast bathe. The Kneipp Walk is lovely. It can get pretty crowded. Those in the hotter tub didn't seem to mind the "No more than 16 people" sign. Due to Delta, it was a bit troubling to see so many people squished together without masks on. But otherwise, I'd love to be able to go there every morning to start out the day right.
google avatar

Karen B.

Yelp
Wonderful surprise after a mountain bike ride! Don't miss the plunge pool and Kneipp walk! Totally restorative. We brought a picnic snd are so glad we threw in our swim suits.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
Loved this place, wish we had the time to go back for another relaxing visit. Only a few groups were there during our visit which made it nice and relaxing. They had a main hot spring pool, one hotter pool and one cold soak pool.

A. K.

Yelp
Very atmospheric with the scenic view of the mountains. There's a guided "route" for using the pools and the different temperatures which we felt was worth following.

Claire G.

Yelp
they have amazing pools with different temperatures! it helped our sore bodies! the staff was so kind and helpful and they provided towels! will definitely return

Yelp
This is a great new addition to the hot springs options in Paradise Valley. While a little pricey, it's clear that they're going for a different vibe than nearby Chico (which will always have a special place in my heart). Entry fee for adults is $18, and towel rental is $4 (we brought our own towels). They had water and basic snacks available for sale in the main entry. I didn't see a bottle refilling station or water fountain, which would be a nice addition to ensure that everyone stays hydrated. There are 3 pools (hot, cold, and a larger warm pool that flowed around the others), all of which are outdoors and uncovered with stunning views of the mountains and even a nearby bison farm. The surrounding lawn is beautifully landscaped and I think the feeling of being "in nature" while soaking will be a big boon to this business. Be warned, this water is very mineral rich and has a lot of iron in it- we were a little weirded out by the orange flakes and buildup- but put at ease when a friendly patron explained that it is minerals and not some growing thing. The pools are drained every 72 hours. This is their first summer open, and all seems to be running pretty smoothly. I do hope they refine things a bit, because I'd love to spend more time here in the future- it would be GREAT if they covered some portion of the pools. It's just so hot with the sun beating down on you. Also, I hope they start to enforce the rules on diving- children were running wild in every pool, diving and splashing and being obnoxious. For the $18 entry, I hope for a more peaceful experience.

Lauren K.

Yelp
Beautiful area with large pools and the option for different temperatures. Clean locker rooms and friendly staff, we will be back!

Yelp
Stopped here for a few hours on a free day off from exploiting Yellowstone NP. Close to get to from Mammoth Hot Springs area of Yellowstone, plenty of parking. This place has spacious locker rooms (at least I can speak from the female perspective) with showers for cleaning off before and after entering the pools. The locker rooms also have lockers to keep your stuff locked away, we were able to just take our bags out to the pool area and set them in our chairs. Towels can be rented, but you can also bring your own. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly in greeting us and was helpful in answering questions we had about the place. There are three separate pools- a hot pool (was around 107 degrees in late September), a cold pool (71 degrees) and a large main warm pool (104 degrees - which dropped to 99 later in the day). This is also posted when you walk in and when you walk into the pool area. The water is discolored due to mineral deposits but did not discolor or ruin my bathing suit or towel. There are nice ledges in the pool to sit, a nice graded slope to ease into but also a set of stairs to enter the main pool. It's not very deep (3.5 feet max I think) but it's large enough that you're not over crowded by other patrons. The view is very nice, it's a relaxing place and I recommend this place as a nice get away to relax. They offered a hand stamp should you want to leave and return the same day (to grab food or something). They have a few beverages and snacks available for purchase at the main desk. A friend went in the evening and enjoyed the sunset. I can't compare it's prices as I don't know otherwise but they offer various discounts for patrons which can help offset the price.

Yelp
The swimming pool and hot pool were awesome, it was great having access to food and beverages as well via the walk up bar and cafe. Drinks and food were good. The biggest bummer was that the showers were cold, cold, cold!! After a nice warm soak on a chilly, windy day, we were looking forward to showering off in warm water before getting dressed. The men's AND women's showers were frigid!! With a limitless supply of hot water, you would think that they could turn up the hot water a bit in the showers. Other than this, the experience was terrific!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent, as the day got later, everybody was chill talking with each other. Older gentleman on the deck was giving good suggestions & talking healthy... Thank you all the guests & staff.

Yelp
I have been to many hot springs all over Montana and this one is a hidden gem! It is intimate and romantic, quiet and private. Very hot water, much hotter than the other hot springs in the area, great ambiance, even a bonfire. There is a small very hot pool and a small cold pool and then one larger warm pool. Also a hot and cold walkway. The stars at night with the steam are incredible. Right by the river and in a beautiful canyon. Highly recommend, especially in the winter! Discount for Montana residents to! Very affordable. Nice changing rooms as well. Well worth the drive. Don't miss this!

L S.

Yelp
This was the only place we could find to get in the mineral spring water and we were so glad we discovered it. The pools are nicely done and it was so good for our sore muscles. The changing rooms and bathrooms were very clean. There are showers for before and after you use the pools. There is no food or drink available, but your day pass allows you to come and go if you need to grab a bite to eat. One thing is missing...shade. There are a couple large umbrellas, but other than that it's pretty sunny everywhere. We were told they are working on adding some shades for the pools. This is a great way to spend an afternoon!

Yelp
I went a week ago. It is very safe. You wear a mask in the dressing room, but the outdoor pools are very spacious with plenty of landscaped space surrounding. We had a great time soaking, talking with people around the country who escaped to the great outdoors and visited YNP. You do not have to worry about catching coronavirus outdoors anyway, and you are not going to sit within 6 feet of a stranger as it is. The staff was very friendly as well. There is another well known hot spring not far from here, but this one is far superior. Definitely worth the stop to or from the park. The price is for all day, so you can come and go as you please, which is especially helpful if one is camped nearby.

Yelp
This was perfect after our week in Yellowstone NP. A great way to relax, plus the scenery around the hot springs made for a wonderful afternoon.

Yelp
My best friend and I drove hours from California and needed to soak in hot water. We got there and a nice man named Norman told us it was actually closed for the day. He ended up letting us take a quick soak anyway at a discounted price and it was everything. Restored our energy for the rest of the trip. we are forever thankful. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Norman!

Yelp
We are long-time Chico guests, but this place offers such a beautiful and relaxed setting that we will keep coming here now! No bar means no rowdy loud folks who typically take over Chico. The views of the mountains all around is spectacular. Friendly staff. Montana resident discount. COVID safety was respected and everyone was conscious of social distance. Everything is outdoors. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This was such a nice way to end our Yellowstone trip. It's a newer hot springs in the area that was recommended to us by one of our servers at dinner the night before. We're so glad we chose this one because it was so scenic. The mountain views from the pools can't be beat. There's three different pools, a hot one, a warm one, and a cold one. It was nice to have a variety. The dressing rooms were clean. There were snacks, drinks, and anything you'd need at a pool (sunscreen, goggles, swimsuits, etc.) for sale in the front. We loved relaxing here after a cold hike!
