This Is the Best National Park in the U.S.

"Yellowstone National Park was named the best national park in the country by Travel + Leisure readers in T+L's 2022 World's Best Awards. Celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2022, the park is known for its natural attractions, activities, lodging, wildlife, accessibility, and cleanliness. It features over 10,000 active hydrothermal features, including hot springs and geysers, and protects numerous endangered species. Yellowstone's landscape draws hikers, bikers, campers, and backpackers, and the park has been recognized for its efforts in preservation and visitor experience." - Travel + Leisure Editors

In Yellowstone, Wolf-Spotting Is an Education in the Laws of Nature

"Yellowstone National Park is a place where nature's sometimes brutal laws still rule the land. The controversial reintroduction of wolves in 1995 has helped restore the natural balance, controlling the elk population and allowing vegetation like aspen, cottonwood, and willow trees to flourish. The park offers a unique wolf-watching experience, attracting millions of visitors annually who hope to catch a glimpse of these apex predators in their natural habitat."

We had a great visit to Yellowstone National Park. The park is much bigger than people may realize so plan for multiple days or a lot of driving to see the main attractions. Wildlife viewing was nice for us. The kids got really excited over how close we got to the Bison. So close we have a video of what sounds like a growl but not really sure what it means. We were in the car and the Buffalo was perched on a ledge above us. Very cool to see. Mud Volcano was very neat to see and Old Faithful did not disappoint. Plenty to do in the area while you wait for the eruption. The Rangers in the park were very helpful and extremely nice. The kids loved getting their Junior Ranger Badge. Highly recommended!

I’m fortunate enough that with both of my visits went great. Little bit wait time from west gate . But it was beautiful park. Parking was okay. Didn’t see bears. But we saw elks. And bison.

This is my favorite National Park. Expect to do a lot of driving and a lot of short walk. I’d recommend hiking up to see the grand prismatic hot springs rather than just seeing it from the board walk. The little gift shops along the way are great. And so is the ice cream at the old faithful inn.

Yellowstone National Park is truly one of the most incredible places I’ve ever visited! We had an amazing time exploring its natural wonders and breathtaking scenery. We visited some of the famous geysers, including Old Faithful, and it was such an unforgettable experience to watch them erupt — nature at its most powerful and beautiful! One of the highlights of our trip was seeing wildlife up close. We were lucky enough to spot a bear in the distance (from a safe spot!) and saw majestic elk roaming freely. It was such a special moment to see these animals in their natural habitat. The park is so well preserved, with endless trails, rivers, and scenic spots to enjoy. Everywhere you look, there’s something beautiful to admire — from steaming hot springs to lush forests and wide-open meadows. If you love nature, adventure, and stunning landscapes, Yellowstone should definitely be on your bucket list. We’re already planning to come back because there’s just so much to see and do. Highly recommend it to everyone — it’s an experience you’ll never forget!

What can one say for this fantastic place. Amazing experience of nature which should not be missed. Of course "OLD FAITHFUL" is an amazing magnet. Great restaurants in the park caters to your needs. Excellent pathways. All in all a MUST VISIT place.

This is my favorite place on Earth. Yes it's everything you have heard of and this should be your #1 place to see in the entire USA. The things hear can't be seen pretty much anywhere else on this planet. Here are a couple things you should know that most won't tell you: - Yellowstone is HUGE and there is a lot of driving involved. Even though it's that big you really never will be even close to alone at most if not all popular places. You really need to hike deep into the park to get that experience especially in summer. Been here multiple times and Sept would be the month I would recommend going. - Other drivers. Especially in summer. No one wants you that seeming the majority of summer tourists are not American. Nothing against it however they do not know how to drive, have zero respect for others and in a lot of cases I believe can't read English and end up going down one way roads. Just be a defensive driver and you should be fine. - Make sure you go to the Lamar Valley. #1 place in the entire Park without question.

A Journey Beyond Words! Just returned from an incredible week at Yellowstone and I’m still pinching myself! This place isn’t just a national park - it’s like stepping into another world entirely. Old Faithful delivered exactly as promised (caught 3 eruptions!), but honestly, the geysers were just the beginning. We spotted a grizzly with cubs near Lamar Valley at sunrise - pure magic. The Grand Prismatic Spring photos don’t do justice to seeing those rainbow colors shimmering in person. Pro tip: Stay until sunset at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The light hitting those canyon walls will take your breath away. This place reminds you why America’s national parks are truly our greatest treasures. Already planning our return trip for next summer. If you’re on the fence about visiting, just book it - Yellowstone will restore your faith in the natural world. Cannot recommend highly enough! 🐻🌋

Yellowstone National Park is one of my favorites! Beyond the iconic geysers and hot springs, Lamar Valley offers some amazing hikes with fewer crowds. The park is breathtaking, with stunning views, abundant wildlife, and endless natural wonders. From bison and elk to wolves and grizzly bears, the wildlife is incredible. Old Faithful is a must-see, but there's so much more to explore. With its fresh air, vast skies, and true wilderness, Yellowstone is a nature lover's paradise. I'd go back in a heartbeat – two days wasn't enough!
