Yelo Belle Epoque Hotel Centre Ville, Sonder

Had a pleasant stay overall. Emma at the front desk was a wonderful host — very cordial, courteous, and always helpful. The location is excellent, close to the bus and train stations with plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms are quite small with tight spaces, but the beds are comfy. The shower cabin isn’t fully enclosed, so water tends to splash everywhere, and the soundproofing could be better. Nice touches though — there’s an iron and ironing board in the room, and water (still and sparkling) available in the lobby. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

We visited for ~10 days (after it became a Sonder hotel by Marriott). Good hotel with kind staff. Very very good location with a beautiful pedestrian area with lots of restaurants, and immersed into the centre of Cannes shopping and beach district. ||Having said this, if you often go to 4 star or more upscale hotels, you might be a little underwhelmed. It’s missing a fair amount of the luxuries, and is a little “rustic” in some cases.||Nevertheless, it is mostly nice and clean, everything works, and I like the app functionality.

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal – just a 2 minute walk from the train station and a short stroll to the beach and lots of great restaurants.||The staff were amazing - a big thank you to Zack, Emma, Edith and one more lovely team member whose name I unfortunately forgot (so sorry!). Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely attentive. Special shout out to Zack for kindly giving us an extra hour for check out and to Emma for arranging for us to store our bags at the hotel’s branch in Nice near the airport on our last day - that really made things so much easier for us.||We also really appreciated the free coffee and water station, such a small touch but it goes a long way and shows that the hotel truly values guest comfort rather than charging for every little thing.||The room wasn’t huge but the bed was very comfy and having a fridge was really convenient.||Would definitely stay again – highly recommended!

Location is good, close to the Main Street. This is not a hotel, more like a Motel. Rooms are very small. Dirty. Very noisy. Our shower didn’t have a curtain or glass to prevent water splashing all over the floor.

Yelo Belle Epoque is closer to a pension than a hotel, but the staff is friendly and helpful, my room on the 4th floor was clean and quiet and the bed is comfortable. It is a good option for budget travelers. Well located, a few blocks from the Croisette.

lovely clean and cool. staff were fantastic very helpful and friendly. this place was an ideal spot enabling us to easily walk to all or most destinations in Cannes. 5 mins from beach. lots of restaurants and shops in same vicinity. there is a little street noise which is to be expected but that didnt bother us at all. room and ensuite had everything we needed including ample hanging space and drawers for clothing. kettle and coffee machine was very handy. we will definately be back. thanks again. Loud conversations from neighboring rooms or footsteps and movement in the hallways can be easily heard, which might be inconvenient for those who need a quiet space to rest. As for the location, this is a significant advantage of the hotel. Conveniently situated, guests can easily reach the train station, the beach, or nearby dining spots. This makes it an ideal choice for travelers looking to enjoy accessibility during their trip. In summary, if you are looking for a clean and friendly place to stay with a convenient location, this hotel is a suitable option. Warning ⚠️ ‼️ Reserved a room through Marriott (confirmed reservation) and when I came to check in I was told that there were no rooms available!! Imagine! The hotel offered zero assistance. I cannot stress enough that this place should be avoided. It’s also way worse than the sonder next door, which has issues too!
