Yelo Promenade Hotel Magnan, Sonder

I stayed at Yelo Promenade Hotel by Marriott in Nice, France, for three days, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect — steps away from the beach with a beautiful sea view from the room. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The staff and front desk team were extremely warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Overall, a great stay — I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice!

HORRIBLE experience. The hotel looks nothing like the photos online — everything is a pale copy. Rooms are tiny, humid, and have only sheer curtains, so it’s impossible to sleep with all the light. It’s extremely noisy too. The coffee machine is disgusting, and the locker room is filthy. None of the elevators were working, so I had to carry my luggage to the 5th floor myself. Overall, terrible service and completely misleading presentation. Would never stay here again.

Very nice location, accessible, and the sea view is spectacular! Staffs are friendly and very helpful! The room is small but has spaxe to move around. They do housekeeping daily but looks like the floors aren’t cleaned or swept, and I think our sheets were never changed. However, our sherts stayed clean anyways. We stayed there for 7 days and it surely completed my French Riviera dream! I will stay there again for sure! Note: tram is a 2 min walk and the hotel is right across the public beach! No need for a beach club! While the elevator is super duper slow, I highly recommend this hotel for all other reasons!

This is a really great place to stay in Nice. The city has more than enough to do, and this hotel is in a fantastic location. Getting into old nice is a quick tram or bike ride, and you are across the street from the beach. The rooms are new, clean, and have A/C.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Nice. The location is excellent—very close to the sea and the tram station, yet within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions. We stayed in two rooms, both of which were comfortable and well-equipped, complete with coffee capsules and a convenient water station. The cleaning and reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. As fans of Sonder properties, having stayed with this chain in other cities before, we knew what to expect—and this location certainly lived up to the standard. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nice, whether for a short break or a longer stay. It’s a reliable, well-situated choice that makes exploring the city a pleasure.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with our stay. The door to the room has nosound insulation at all, serious faults in the construction. The bed is just behind the door, extremely bed room planing. No privacy feeling at all. No relaxing possible - you can hear the service next to your bed from 8:00 am every day. Actually, there is a feeling, that you sleep in the corridor, without the door. The room was extremely small and uncomfortable, not as described by the booking process. Curtains very dirty. Only approximately 40 cm space from all bed sides available . Light in the bathroom is not enough for make up. Special request (honeymoon) ignored. Issues could not be solved during 3 days of the stay. Changing the room was not possible. The hotel is not recommended for couples and for all, who value privacy feeling. Our worst experience of the hotel room ever.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. We booked a room with a balcony and it had a beautiful view of the ocean and promenade. The location is great and very accessible for public transport. The rooms are simple but very comfortable, modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Would love to stay here again, it made our stay in Nice so enjoyable!

I loved staying here. It's perfect if you're pretty independent and don't need constant service. Several public transportation options are right at each corner. Balcony had a beautiful ocean view and was very relaxing to hang out on. Bathroom had beautiful black fixtures and a handheld shower head. Not a lot of counter space though so I'm glad I brought a hanging organizer. Keep in mind that there's no one at the desk until 2pm so that's what I mean about needing constant service. The AC also seemed confusing to work but thankfully we didn't need it. Didn't use the parking nor luggage storage so can't really say much about that. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great view of the ocean. That would get a 4 star, the hotel would get a 1 star for appearance, comfort, amenities. The hotel was in a safe location , however the hotel seemed sketch, our room had no safe, the door handle was not completely intact. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. In the hallway was a roach. I would say it reminded me of a sketchy Motel in the states.
