"Full flavor is on offer at this downtown open-air spot, helmed by a Dutch expat. You’ll find a host of local ingredients on the menu, many of which are plucked straight from the sea and cooked on the wood-fired grill. While unusual in the Caribbean, the restaurant also offers hearty vegetarian dishes, from fattoush (a flat bread topped with greens and tzatziki sauce) and quinoa-stuffed zucchini to vegetables in a spicy Creole sauce, as well as several gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options. For dessert, get the delightful coconut mousse."
We had a great dinner. Kevin was an amazing server. He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The whole staff was welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. One of the best meals we’ve had. Highly recommend!

THE SERVICE:
Hostess greeted us with a warm smile and friendly disposition. We were promptly escorted inside for our dinner reservation. The waitress and waiter were very knowledgeable about the menu and professional. We received timely service and check-ins once our food arrived.
THE FOOD:
We ordered the Caribbean whole Snapper prepared deboned and headless. The fish was fresh and lightly seasoned. The sauce made for the perfect pairing elevating the overall taste of the dish.
The Snapper and side items were plated in layers making it visually appealing, but not necessarily practical. Nonetheless, the overall meal tasted good and was satiating.
THE ATMOSPHERE:
Welcoming and aesthetically pleasing with lovely photo opportunities. Easily conversed as we weren’t competing with loud music.
THE VALUE:
Menu prices are available online to determine if this restaurant is within your budget. From my experience, prices aligned with the quality of food, service, and atmosphere.
Note: The restaurant will assist with calling a cab, but due to the location anticipate waiting. We unknowingly dined the same night as a major event downtown and it took well over an hour to return to the resort.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. The bread, the entrees, the drinks and the dessert were beyond our expectations. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Our waiter Nykawna was so friendly, made great recommendations and was a pleasure. One of our favorite meals on the island and highly recommend!

We have always heard raving reviews of this restaurant but I was slightly disappointed. Be prepared to wait when they are busy, it took an hour to get our food. I had the swordfish with fried shrimp and added the 3 grilled shrimp because they looked amazing and I'm glad that I did. The fried shrimp was tasty but the grilled shrimp was better. My boyfriend had the pork chop (it was tasty) and he added the mushrooms (they did not have a lot of flavor) and loaded tornado fries (probably the best thing we had). We sat outside and the atmosphere and service were really great. Be aware, they have a stray cat that roams around the outside dining area. He doesnt bother you but I did see some people feeding him even though they have a sign that asks you not to feed the strays. There were also a lot of flies but they out a fan on the table to get them away. I like that they allow you to donate at the bottom of your check so they can take care of the strays (dog rescue). We agreed that we would come back but would sit inside and order as soon as we sit down given how long it takes to get your food.

I LOVED eating at this restaurant! I had an outside table, and had the vegan BBQ platter and the raw pad Thai vegan salad. It was a very relaxing and beautiful evening. Highly recommend!

Impeccable service. Very kind hostess. The lamb dumplings and shrimp tasting appetizers were delicious. The whole fried sea bass was amazing and definitely enough for two people. Mostly deboned, so easy to share. Great cocktails and sangria. Would recommend. Only downside is that the air conditioning is very strong in the dining room, we were a little chilly, but nothing to detract from how good this restaurant is.

One of the best meals we had on the island. The food was utterly spectacular and I wish we would have went twice. My kids were worried after seeing the pictures, but they split the steak and their sides of potatoes and mac and cheese and loved it. Would have went back if it wasn't our last night.

My favorite restaurant on the island. Our server was Chris and he was great! Very attentive, gave good suggestions and always made sure we were happy. If you sit inside and you get cold easily bring something to cover up because it is chilly, but feels great.
I’m not sure why we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. It looked like the restaurant was about half empty. Not sure if this was due to staffing or just carelessness.
For appetizers it is a must to order the Grilled Octopus, Chorizo & Calamari. This dish is phenomenal. The octopus has a nice Smokey taste to it. The shrimp tasting was different yet great too. One shrimp per tasting. Personal favorites were the coconut shrimp and the shrimp ceviche. Very different but very good.
For dinner Chris recommended the stuffed pork tenderloin which I was blown away by. I don’t think I left any crumbs on the table. We also got the pineapple soy marinated skirt steak with stir fry veggies which was great!
Desserts you MUST order the lava cake. A crispy top and gooey center. A scoop of Vanilla gelato on the side complimented this perfectly.
We will definitely be back here as it is now my favorite restaurant in Aruba.
