Fantastic place with great vegetarian options. The host was super friendly and the food was unique and delicious. I personally would prefer if they went lighter in the cheese though.

Google
Yay veggies! Yerba Buena was a refreshing change after the mostly-meat diet available everywhere else. We had enchiladas, vegetarian lasagne with salad, and mushroom pasta. The succulent pastas seemed to be home-made. Both the linguine and lasagna were truly excellent in texture and flavour.

Google
Súper chill place with delicious food. We ordered the tortas tortuga which were delicious. Also recommend the sopa de tortilla (you can ask for extra chicken). Don't forget to get ice cream on your way out. Great lunch experience with friendly staff and beautiful decorations.

Google
Edited to add that 4.5 years later I came back and the chilaquiles are still the best! Consistency across the board with flavor, presentation and service. 🙏🏼 Wow! I’ve been in Mexico for 3 months and between all the places I’ve had chilaquiles in various different states and cities, these are the best. This restaurant has a beautifully tranquil outdoor space, the staff is all genuinely friendly and warm and the food tastes good, is presented in a beautiful manner and it’s not overpriced. Good energy matters when cooking and I can tell whoever made my food has it. Muchas Gracias Yerbabuena!

Google
We loved this place so much for breakfast, we came back for lunch! Cute cafe with great patio, extremely friendly staff, tasty food, delicious drinks (including my favorite mint & cucumber!), and a wonderful vegetarian selection! Don't skip the house-made ice cream. Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming and providing such great service!

Google
Super yummy place for brunch. All eggs dishes were good. The avocado bruschetta was amazing. The mango smoothie was good too. Service was great. Only complaint is that we got coffees to go and they were quite watered down unfortunately.

Google
Very fresh but lacked flavor. We ordered french toast with fresh fruit. My wife enjoyed it but didn't rave about it. I got the veggie burger without cheese and it had zero flavor. I added ketchup, that was a mistake. I will however give 5 stars for the papas fritas. We also ordered drinks. The horchata was watery, the other was oj strawberry something, the oj was overpowering and tart.

Yelp
Came here cause I trust yelp . The food is as good as advertised and staff were super friendly. Cost of the food is nothing for its quality. If you are in Valladolid definitely stop by.

Yelp
An Oasis in Valladolid. Beautiful ambience. Very clean and so quaint. Delicious food! I loved it so much.

Yelp
Our first food stop in mexico and turned out to be one best. Best part have a lot of vegeterian options. We tried Papadzules en salsa de pepita and a mix platter containing tlacoyo , quesadilla and sope. Thet were so much different from what we get in usa. On Arrival they welcome us with tortilla chips and 3 salsas . Salsas were nothing like i had before..Soooooo flavorful .. one was eggplant based, one was pumpkin based They even offered us a bowl of freshly cut sweet mangoes for free .. Great place , great ambience , great food great service. Must try in Valladolid!

Yelp
Tried this place after reading about it and lonely planet, and it did not disappoint. As a vegetarian traveler it's hard to find a delicious classy place like this. It was absolutely amazing and I would come back. They have so many vegetarian options. It's crazy! All is healthy and fresh And pretty affordable. I will definitely come back and also recommend this. They even gave us tea at the end of our meal complementary :-)

Bev B.

Yelp
Great organic food and pleasant atmosphere. They CAN process your credit card but you need to ask. Like a lot of places they prefer cash - especially for the tip.

Yelp
This place is simply lovely. A very nice shaded patio with gentle fans blowing for comfort. The food and coffee were delicious. I recommend the mixed plate and the guacamole! The service was also helpful and patient with my limited Spanish.

Yelp
My bf and I came here in search of "healthy food" after eating tacos and tortas for 4 straight days. We ordered the pumpkin seed dip and falafel platter to split. We sat in the back by the garden, and it was absolutely beautiful. Our meal ended with complementary peppermint tea, which was an exquisite end to our meal. Heads up this place is cash only! Chips and Salsa: The corn tortilla chips were very tasty, one of my favorites on this Mexico road trip. The red salsa wasn't that spicy and tasted very freshly. The green salsa was light in flavor and creamy. Pumpkin Seed Dip: A Yucatán classic I've been meaning to try! More of a hummus like consistency and plain flavor. Not too sure if this is exactly how it's suppose to taste. Falafel Platter: I was shocked at how non-greasy the falafels were! I could eat all of them without feeling heavy. The hummus was light in flavor, while the baba ganoush was a little salty. Naan was incredibly soft and delicious. The other two dips were perfect with the falafel and naan. Overall, this was a great break from street tacos with a beautiful ambiance! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Valladolid.

Yelp
This place has 2 yelp profiles. Check the other one. Great place for food and very lovely ambiance.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience but the food is super disappointing. This is definitely not a local spot - the food was very bland and boring.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has beautiful outdoor seating and uses high-quality fresh ingredients. Excellent service, healthy food and pet friendly. We stopped in for breakfast, everything was good. I really enjoyed the fresh juice blends - I had the one for waking up, orange, mango and honey. Very good!

Yelp
When in Valladolid, Yucatán, make sure you eat here at least once. Scratch made everything, including roasting their own Cocoa Beans. No matter what you order, you cannot go wrong. Friendly, spotless and cheerful.
google avatar

Jacqueline A.

Yelp
Nice place with parking right in front which is awesome. Service is good and they have fresh squeezed juices and espresso machine. Unfortunately food is bland, not authentic Mexican. Chilaquiles and huevos rancheros had a tomato sauce with no flavor. We also had the mole and Chile con queso tamales, would not recommend. I am Mexican and traveled all over always looking for authentic food, this is not it. If you are a tourist looking for food with no spice walk right in.

Yelp
This place is amazing. We stopped on the way to chichen and both loved our meals. So much, we had to stop again on our way back to Tulum. The milkshakes and mochachinos are very delicious and not too sweet. We also tried their bloody mary which was literally one of the best ive ever had, along with their strawberry daiquiri which is made with fresh fruit. I ordered their chilaquilles both times with egg and smoked meat and it was jus AMAZING. So much food, every bite is a delight my fiance tried there enchiladas and one of their favorite egg dishes(i cant remember the name) but the egg dish was definitely better than the enchasas. After so much deliciousness i decided we couldnt leave without a snack for the road and with such high expectations, we ordered a brownie and two banana breads to go. Both are wonderful and not too sweet. Overall probably the best place we've eaten so fat and sad to leave. You have to try it!

Yelp
This is what me of the best places in Valladolid to have lunch, amazing quality of food. Real Mexican recipes with an amazing Mayan touch. The fresh squeezed juices are amazingly fresh and and extra kuddos for a fresh toasted expresso that saved the day! Don't miss the zizilpak starter with an amazing guacamole!

Arun G.

Yelp
Very healthy and delicious breakfast, the kind that you feel better for eating. Chaya pina and huevos motoluenos are two excellent things to try.

Yelp
My favorite spot in Valladolid. Walkable from the main square, but far enough that it won't be flooded with cruise tourists. The ambiance is great, the portions are large, the food tastes amazing, and the service is nice. I only ate here once, but wish I came here every day I was in Valladolid.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a must when in Valladolid this jewel has the freshest food & vegetarians will love this spot too, I got the Chayotes rellenos de quinoa y verduras con arroz with a green smoothie both were off the chain and of course service and ambiance was great too totally recommend it mi gente! Go and feast!!

Yelp
Incredible fresh juice options. Loved the Sanador (with aloe vera, cactus, parsley, celery, & grapefruit), Verde (orange, pineapple, chaya [tree spinach], moringa), Pa La Gripa (orange, grapefruit, guava, pollen, honey), & Pa La Niña (pineapple, celery, parsley, moringa). We got four more to go. For food, we tried Papadzules (Mayan tacos bathed in pumpkin-seed sauce); sauce was great, but not a huge fan of the filling as it was just hard-boiled egg. Also had the tamales which are two per order, so we tried curried vegetables & nopales with green sauce. The curried veggie one was best. Enjoyed the juices more than the food. Great ambiance with outdoor seating by flowers, trees, and a little waterfall. WiFi but I didn't try it. Free chips and salsas. Would def come back for the juices

Yelp
Awesome Mexican breakfast! This cafe was amazing, really bright and welcoming. Everything was very fresh and plenty of different options on the menu. Lots of breakfast options and other lunch meals. I wanted to order everything in the menu. They also have fresh juices made for you. My favorite was the vegetarian copes with avocado, beans and cheese. I also enjoyed the huevos rancheros. Everything was so fresh and delicious, will be coming back whenever I'm back in town.

Yelp
un excelente lugar, pero yelp casi no tiene cosas que hacer en valladolid, yo recomiendo el primer mapa dinamico mas actualizado de TOP que hacer en valladolid yucatan, https://bit.ly/top10valladolid
google avatar

Julia C.

Yelp
The best vegetarian meal we've had in Mexico! We had four different juices which were all delicious, a dish of nutty, spicy zizilpak, and sopes and stuffed chayote. Everything was beautifully plated, colorful, wholesome and delicious. Although the menu doesn't mark vegan dishes vs vegetarian ones, I am sure they understand the difference and could leave cheeses out of things. If you plan to see the San Bernardino convent (across the square), or even if you would have to trek from the center of town, be sure to stop here.

Yelp
Great service, great food. Lots of vegetarian options and a very cute outside seating patio that is well shaded.

Yelp
I love everything about this place it's super cute, very colorful, friendly service and most importantly really good food. I highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
Order the Tejate drink (not Tecate) and the chocolate tamale, for unusual foods. Everything else is good too.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
The food was okay, but was too organic and options felt a bit limited. There's no Coke or your normal/expected drink options here. There is also no beef option, only a specific type of pork. That being said, the huevos rancheros were really delicious. The mole was also very good, and was not sweet. The omelette with ham was too salty. The enchiladas and chilaquiles were very good but I wish we could have added chicken to them. The chips and salsa they give you to snack on before were amazing!! Especially their spiciest salsa, it really packs a kick. Server was very polite, super helpful, and efficient. WiFi is also available. This place is a great choice for someone who is looking for organic and fresh options!!

Yelp
We loved our food!! We loved it so much we are marking this place to come visit again. The place was clean. All the staff were very friendly. I saw someone post on here that they are Mexican and this was not Mexican food. I am from California but I have lived in Mexico for 16 years. Food in this region of Mexico is much different than any other region of Mexico I have tried. It is definitely different from the Texmex in the states. Also to be noted is that in my experience it is hard to come by restaurants with such a variety of vegetarian options! Kuddos to this restaurant. The ambiance is soothing and harmonizes with the local environment. My husband says, "The food was superb and not too pricey, very cordial waiters and the cleanliness was up to par." He had the hoja santa tacos, His plate was devoured and licked clean! We would definitely return! My kids and I loved the strawberry mango water!

Blair N.

Yelp
Great little veg-forward cafe with beautiful shaded patio. Authentic Mexican dishes (try the pollo oaxaca) but also lasagne salad etc.

Mike K.

Yelp
We stopped based on a Lonely Planet guide suggestion and thought it was great. Small place in a quiet part of town, we sat in the open, covered patio. We started with a small bowl of the soup of the day-tortilla. Mellow, thick, really nice. I had the eggs and red mole and thought it was amazing. Dense , deep flavor. Really an exceptional dish. All considered we were incredibly happy, next time we're in the area we will stop.
google avatar

Zahoor N.

Yelp
Hole in the wall place. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxed breakfast, lunch or dinner. We came here twice for lunch after a long day in the sun visiting the town and ruins around the area. Beautiful garden area to sit in which is surrounded by plants and loads of small fans to keep you cool. You won't be disappointed. There food is fresh and they try to use organic produce as much as they can. They also have a ton of vegetarian options. House speciality drinks: Peppermint water : excellent Ginger tonic: excellent Strawberry frappe: good Mochachino: good Snacks: Nachos yerbabuena: excellent Cazuelas: La poblana: excellent Antojitos: Mixed platter: good House specials: Stuffed chayotes: excellent

Yelp
This place is amazing! Their food is delicious and made with fresh and organic ingredients. We had cazuelas and mole, we finished all. Their juice and smoothie bar is pretty good, they even have different type of milk. The service is a little bit slow but very friendly. The facilities are clean.
google avatar

Kambiz K.

Yelp
This place is a quaint surprise in Valladolid. It is off the beaten path and serves unique food even with vegan options. My favorite was the ginger tonic which was made with copious amounts of ginger and lime and smoothed out with honey. It was extremely refreshing. I even got two. I ordered tacos and my partner got the baked clay pot eggs. Above all the service was so extremely amazing. I felt truly take care of. Make sure when you are in Valladolid to take a 15 min side trip and at least have a refreshing, crisp beverage here. If you wanna say for longer, explore the menu... I regret not getting a torta!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here after a long day at cenote zací and we tried all vegan food, I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was super chill for us old people I would come here again, also I thought it was pretty cool to have a vegan restaurant for those that are into vegan lifestyle
google avatar

Adriana F.

Yelp
Super cute place! Got the eggs in a clay pot with tomatoes cheese and potatoes. Tasted good. Also tried their Mayan sunflower spread which had an interesting profile. All in all the food didn't blow me away but it was a good meal at a nice place

Jose A.

Yelp
Still the best restaurant in the Cancun -Mérida region. Definitely worth a trip to visit Valladolid just to eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. People is very welcoming and social. They know theit dood and xan explain. The food is home made. Great taste, many flavors. The juices were amazing! Great job guys. Excellent options for vegan amd vegetarian.

Yelp
We had high expectations based on the reviews- but we were NOT disappointed! From drinks to food to dessert 100%! Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Richelle T.

Yelp
The drinks were amazing, the peppermint water taste like mojito and the mango were so fresh. Enjoyed the ambience and food.
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
It's ok. Didn't love the food, the eggs Benedict were ok, but the Chaya gives them a weird flavor that I didn't like. I had the eggs "albañil" and look like a chile relleno, with beans on the side, the potatoes were ok, I think the coffee was overpriced. The pan de muerto was really really good. The salsas were really good. They didn't accept credit card, just cash.
google avatar

Cherry K.

Yelp
Great ambience+service, good food, yumm and healthy fresh juices and a never ending supply of homemade chips and homemade salsa. Yay! They served fresh tortilla with egg scramble, tortilla was fresh and straight out of pan, scramble was also good. Chilli relleno was bang on. Chips were crisp and salsas tasted great. No complains, will go again next time am in mexico. PS they also have a fresh bread and pastry bakery, tried some of their pastries and they were quite de

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Valladolid to go for breakfast, my favorite things are omlette doriana and chiliaquiles with 2 fried eggs. Also the the juice that has strawberries and they have a latte to die for.
google avatar

Stephanie F.

Yelp
You should go because it's the cutest. You get to sit outside next to a little garden. They have an expansive selection of juices but note they are served warm. Ask for a side of purified ice off the bat. We got our juices warm and didn't get the ice until the meal was basically over. Also, do not order the huevos rancheros. Out of everything I ate in Mexico, this is the one thing I would say is better in America. Do however order the molletes (cheesy bean bread) and refried beans/plantains for the table. The portions are small but we couldn't get enough of either. The service was incredibly slow and inefficient. They were forgetful and even my order was incorrect (they put a sauce on the huevos rancheros that was not listed on the menu) though they did correct the issue quicker than expected.

Yelp
For the amazing reviews this place got, I was expecting it to be out of this world, but our experience was a little subpar. It's a little touristy, a lot slow in terms of service, and didn't deliver everything we wanted in brunch food. The outdoor seating area is very cute and is a really nice atmosphere to eat in. We started with juices and I also ordered an iced coffee (they used purified ice). The coffee was very good, but the juices were warm and should have also been put over ice or at least blended with ice. I got one with beets and pineapple and while the flavor was there, it was very unsatisfying to drink warm juice. We did ask for a cup of ice but received it at the very end of the meal. They brought out three salsas for the table, but never brought any chips or anything to eat them with. We ordered the molletes appetizer but they forgot about it and also didn't bring that until the end of the meal, after we had asked about it three different times. When it finally came, it was delicious. It consisted of two big pieces of fluffy bread spread with refried beans, melty cheese, and fresh salsa. I'm so glad we got it but it would have been better at the start of the meal and without having to ask for it over and over. My friend and I both ordered huevos rancheros, though my friends' dish came out with the wrong sauce and she had to send it back. Mine was good, but was pretty much just two eggs on a tortilla with some red sauce. It did not blow me away by any means. The beans that came with the dish were delicious but it was the smallest spoonful ever. We did get a side of plantains and beans which again, were yummy, but very small portioned. Servers were friendly but really forgot so many things and never brought out anything that we needed until much later. We felt like we had to be so annoying and that really put a damper on our experience. Food was good, but didn't blow me away (although would highly recommend the molletes). It's still an okay option for the area, but would go in with lower expectations that what is reported on trip advisor and yelp.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant in Valladolid with plenty of freshly made vegan and vegetarian options, and a full fresh juice/smoothie menu. The food here is delicious, but a twist from traditional Mexican fare to incorporate more veggies and fresh items (for example, my enchiladas rojas had shredded carrots in them and were topped with a spring salad mix). Absolutely a tourist spot, though we saw some possible locals dining there as well. This is not a "taste of Valladolid," so if you're looking for low key and traditional, you're probably in the wrong place. Prices are not bad, though certainly higher than a little hole in the wall spot. It's nice that the restaurant is away from the bustle of the center of town, however, and it's also right next to the "Friar's Way", if you plan to see that on your way. My suggestion would be to grab some fresh juice to go and then walk around and see the rest of Valladolid.

Yelp
Beautiful place and amazing food. So happy that I found this Food options are a lot. I tried the fresh juice it was so good I ordered one more. Took vegetable omelette and wasn't disappointed for a tad bit.

Moises N.

Yelp
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Saw reviews in YELP and was exited to eat great food... 1st warning - They have: Curry, falafel, lasagna, panna cotta... we ordered chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and tamales. All three dishes had the exact same tasteless tomato sauce. Biggest disappointment were the potatoes... they tasted like frozen Ore-Ida old potatoes. If I wanted frozen food I would've gone to IHOP. If you think Ketchup is spicy, that TACO BELL is real Mexican food and season your food with only salt and pepper you will love this place. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, just stay away. USA tourist friendly food I guess...

Yelp
On our way back from Chichen itza we stopped at Valladolid for lunch and found this awesome place. Use the google maps address to get there. Court yard is super cute, the owner is really friendly and they speak English. Service is friendly but hit or miss. They forgot to bring our mollettes but the food itself was great. The juices are fresh and delicious and we got the quesadilla and the chilaquiles and both were good. Quesadilla was really small though. The chips and salsa they serve you with your meal is super fresh too. Overall really like this place and would go back!

Yelp
The food is average at best. Service was really bad !! I am not sure why it had good reviews !!

Yelp
A delicious first breakfast in Mexico. We went early (8:30a) so we could get on the road to Chichen Itza and we pretty much had the whole place ourselves. Clean, friendly staff, good service and a great selection of fresh juice.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Fresh juices, delicious vegetarian options, and great service. If you come to Valladolid, you have to come here.
