YHA Liverpool Albert Dock Hostel

What a great place!!|In Liverpool for the Champions parade and called in here for a drink as we were passing, ended up staying here for most of the afternoon. Beer garden was great (despite the weather!) for the kids to run around in. All of the staff were brill, ended up ordering food here after the parade aswell which was good and very reasonably priced too. Also very nice to find that the toilets were still very clean and well stocked after a ridiculously high footfall. We did pass our thanks on to the staff as we were leaving, helped make an already incredible day more enjoyable:)|

The location is perfect! It's a 5 minute walk to the docks and a 10 minute walk to the middle of the city! It's so walkable, there's a pub every 3 feet, so there's plenty of places to eat drink and enjoy yourself. The breakfast is so good and the staff are friendly and accommodating! There is no lift/elevator, so you will be walking up several stairs depending on what floor you're on. It's clean and safe and you can request a bottom bunk if you don't care to or can't be on the top bunk. Overall, a good value for the accommodations. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful YHA for when you are headed to Liverpool for a city break. We had a private en suite room that was clean, had everything we needed and surprisingly quiet for being in the city! |The staff were amazing and always on hand if we needed anything. The breakfast was great and the women serving the food were fantastic and very friendly! Parking was free and it was great because we walked everywhere and didn't need the car. This is a well run YHA that does everything right! Thank you for a memorable stay!!

Stayed for 3 nights as part of a school trip to Liverpool. This accommodation was ideal for our needs with a prefect location. I would be tempted to stay here again if visiting Liverpool for personal reasons. The rooms were clean, functional and comfy. The food was of excellent quality and delicious. Breakfast topped that of even some reputable hotel chains! Location enabled us to get to all the Albert Docks and into town with ease. On a main road meant there was the sound of traffic but didn't disturb me throughout the night even with a window open. It is a functional place and sound does travel between the floors and walls - something to bear in mind if not part of a group. What has left the biggest lasting impression was the kindness and genuine care of all the staff. This was common for all the locals we met throughout our stay in Liverpool. Welcoming, friendly and some of the loveliest people I have come across on travels in the UK and abroad. I look forward to coming back in the future. Thank you for looking after all of us.

Very friendly hostel with good facilities. Self catering kitchen, pool table, bar. Room was large (ensuite double plus bunk). Great location.

Absolutely fantastic experience as per usual. This is not our first time here and will not be our last. We brought a school trip and the students loved it all - food, hospitality and rooms were great. The staff could not have been more helpful. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to cater for dietary needs and nothing was too much.|Cannot recommend enough - see you next time!

Heard some decent reviews about YHA and hence decided to pay a visit as i was visiting to watch a football match at the iconic stadium of dreams. Decent stay, good comfortable beds, clean washrooms. They can help with a locker and work on their security. Decent value for money. Will recommend and visit back as it was good value for money.

As a party of 16 this accommodation was perfect, safe and secure, friendly and accommodating but importantly very clean. Location was literally a 5 to 10 min walk to Albert Dock and Liverpool 1. There is a shop right beside the hostel and also the facilities at the actual hostel such as breakfast, lounge and dining room was fantastic - highly recommended.
