YHA Malham

We stayed in the pods and had a lovely cosy night's sleep here with our dogs. On arrival we saw the pods were basically in the car park and were a little worried about noise but we needn't have worried, it was so peaceful. The location is brilliant, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Nice pubs, walks and restaurants locally. We had breakfast in the morning too and it was plentiful and great value. We always enjoy a YHA breakfast but this one was hot and fresh (sometimes they are a little lukewarm). Would recommend staying here if in the area!

Amazing hostel. Rooms are perfect sizes and are clean. Shared bathrooms were also spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. Hostel is in an incredible location, accessible by public transport (we trained and used the bus to Malham). The countryside is beautiful there as well, and offers lots of different types of walks. Such an amazing trip for the price we paid. We’d love to come back. Would highly recommend!!

Lovely hostel in beautiful grounds. Fabulous location in Malham. The room was clean, well maintained & reasonably priced. Staff were friendly & efficient. Only pizzas available in the evening which was fine as we only stayed one night, but would be nice to have more choice of food. Thanks for a great stay!

I recently took my year 5 class for a residential here. We stayed at the YHA and did their geography package, which meant we had 2 guides with us for 3 days. It was fantastic - the children had such an amazing time and the activities were so well planned and executed. The accommodation at YHA was clean and convenient. The children did not have a bad word to say about the food (which is amazing for 33 10 year olds) they particularly loved the breakfast!!! Staff were unbelievably helpful and accommodated to all dietary needs, they really went above and beyond. I felt at ease there that the children were safe and all safety precautions were explained thoroughly to staff. Our guides were with us from 8:30am to 8:30pm. A brilliant trip and we have already re booked!!!! Thank you!

I can't rate the rooms because we stayed in the pods which were excellent. The breakfasts wonderful and tasty. It was an ideal base for walking the St Alkelda pilgrimage

All was great!! Apart from self catering kitchen size! It should be double!!!! Cannot imagine how crowded it must be when hostel is fully booked. Thanks a lot!! Definitely recommending.

Great spot in Malham village, handy for all the walks. Parking on-site if you’re early, otherwise you can park nearby in the village. Even saw the aurora right outside!

What excellent accommodation and facilities for all us mountain bikers. Showers were fantastic with plenty of hot water and pressure. Kitchens well equipped. . Comfy beds. Quick walk to 2 pubs in the village. Would differently recommend
