Very cool yha hostel. The food was amazing and the gravy well, we are definitely going to come back for more!! We stayed in bell tent with 2 children 2 and 3yr old. It was a bit chilly but not cold. The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. Beers and wine available on site. Short walk to beach. Lovely hot showers!!! 10/10 well done to the team there .

The staff here are amazing, there is nothing they won't do to help! Great full English breakfasts, they all do pizzas too! Accommodation basic as you would expect, but always very clean. Perfect base for walkers/climbers. You can camp here too, and sometimes they have bell tents too!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hostel. We found everything we needed: clean beds, room with a view, self catering kitchen with all the utensils. Great value for money! We will definitely try other YHA hostels as there are so many around UK.

Stayed here two nights and we were very happy with the size of the room for the six of us. It was clean and well run with friendly and welcoming staff. The cooked breakfast was very nice too!

Basic but comfortable, exactly what you'd expect from a youth hostel. The communal areas are a good size and well kept. There are plenty of cooking utensils in the kitchen and lots of food storage space (although one thing that would be good to have there is a steamer). The bathroom facilities are small but kept clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Although they state the hostel is not up to modern accessibility standards on their website if you ask for a ground floor room this would still work as a place to stay for someone with reduced mobility. The downstairs bathroom facilities are a few metres from the ground floor bedroom which is right next door to the communal lounge. The only issue would be that the kitchen is at the other end of the hostel through 2 heavy doors but this wouldn't be a problem if you are staying with a companion.

The hostel was very clean and very well-kept, with a rather large garden for campers. It has good location. The kitchen and the dining room were tidy and well-equiped. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Warm friendly reception from the warden and the other guests. Spotlessly clean, and freshly decorated. We self catered, but the breakfast looked and smelt fantastic it would keep you going all day.
