Stayed 3 nights. Transferred from Santorini to Ios by Seajet high speed service, very good. Hotel was a short walk from harbour. Good size pool area with nice quality loungers etc. Pleasant bar area overlooking the pool. Breakfast was very good with a choice of food. Room was smallish (they do larger rooms) it was clean with a comfortable bed. Walk up a steep hill with steps taking circa 20 minutes to the main town (buses and taxis are available) lots of winding little streets with shops, restaurants and bars. Their are a few restaurants at the harbour also a small sandy beach. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Would we stay again…. Yes

Chose Ios on the basis of a recommendation of this hotel and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Moments from the harbour and right by the bus stop which in the season means you can get to all the main beaches by bus. Good also for exploring other islands from the harbour. ||The hotel is delightful, family run, immaculate and very pretty, with a fantastic pool. We chose a traditional studio, which is set back from the main pool area and closer to the road, but the extra space was worth it. If you want to be more central (and this is very relative, it’s a small hotel) you might pick a premium room. We concluded we weren’t there to look at the room and were happy with our choice. ||Thank you Fronista family, we hope to see you again.

This was our last minute getaway and a perfect decision! Just off the ferry terminal, we were welcomed upon the arrival by Mrs Popi and felt straight away that we made the right choice. Our friends stayed at the hotel few times before and praised it! Room was perfect for our stay, tucked away from the main area with the seating just in front. Breakfast options were delicious as well as their fritters that came as a treat. Pool area was chilled, mostly couples were around and it was quiet. You could hear the rustling of the palms! Looking forward to going back! Thank you Dimitri and the family!

I recently stayed at Yialos Ios Hotel and had a mixed experience. The initial room was disappointing (traditional economy). It was dark, humid, with yellowed pillows, a barely functioning hair dryer, and the bodywash dispenser was empty. The door would lock with difficulty, and my window faced a junk pile. Insects were coming in from under and around the door frame, making it impossible to sleep for two nights (I was afraid that insects were going crawl onto the bed). The first night I arrived back to the hotel after an evening out, I found at least 10 insects crawling around the floor. I used whatever I could find to block the space under the door, but the second night I realized that the insects were coming through the side of the door frame. |When I reported this, the front desk dismissed my concerns, assuring me the insects wouldn’t harm me.||I paid for an upgraded room, and while the new room was much better, it still had issues like the bathroom bin trash which was left from previous visitors.|The room wasn’t ready at the discussed time, which was frustrating as I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my valuables at the front desk (these were work related devices which provide MFA and either had to be locked in a safe or kept on me).||The breakfast offerings were underwhelming (I will admit to being picky with food).||A positive aspect was the presence of a night guard who helped me feel safe. Whenever I would arrive in the evening, he would notice that I was on the property, which led me to believe that he was really paying attention of who was coming and going. ||Once I changed rooms, my stay improved. The pool area is amazing, and having a restaurant on-site was very convenient. |I do not suggest staying in the traditional or economy rooms which are located in the old building. If you stay at Yialos Ios Hotel, book a room in the newer buildings, these are listed as superior and deluxe rooms.

We came to Ios for a wedding and stayed at the Yialos Hotel. Everything was perfect and all the staff were amazing and very helpful! Really good location within a 5min walk to the port, with lots of restaurants nearby (definitely recommend Ithika) ||Lovely pool area and place to relax as well. Would highly recommend!!!!

Visited friends at this hotel so a mixed review. Rooms are lovely, spacious if in a family room. Very small single rooms. Pool is nice but no authority on showering before getting in. Weird security guard who flashes his light at you and stands 10foot away staring at us for no reason. Was told it was a family hotel but frowned upon for making any noise when the children were playing by the pool. Very rude staff who are not helpful at all
