Will never visit this Takashimaya this horrible mall ever again, such a horrible experience in Takashimaya.
When my wife at the drink store called Bai Cao Wei at B2 food hall. trying to open the fridge door, the glass door shattered, broken pieces of the glasses fell all over her body .The staff at the drink stall did not take any necessary actions.They didn't ask her about her wellbeing. She was hurt and yet she had to ask for a serviette to wipe away the broken glasses on her body. Her right arm was bruised and was still bleeding, the staff was not alarmed at all, there was no follow-up or the slightest concern on her well being.The cashier still had the decency to ask whether she still wanted the drink and if she wanted it,she could pay at the cashier counter. She was shocked.The cashier has no urgency towards the situation...Where is the compassion to see whether she is hurt? Is paying for the drink more important ! The incident that happened yesterday was only conveyed to me today. This situation was mishandled. It was truly unprofessional and unacceptable.
As the result of the broken glasses, my wife had a few bruises and cuts on her body and yet the staff just take it lightly and treated as it was nothing. She has to go through such an unpleasant experience with the staff and we hereby would like to seek for compensation on this incident. Originally We wanted to have a peaceful dinner but due to this incident, she ended up in hospital to seek help to take out all the fragments- pieces of glasses on her body.
The hardware of the glass door in terms of safety it doesnt meet the safe safety standards. Should this incident happen to a child its going to be disastrous.
The retail manager Chris Ngo faster cover the area and clear the incident area to avoid people take picture and video however I have video and picture of what they did after the incident happen. He faster brought us to the security room and ask a lady to clean my wife wound in a rough manner and apologise and didn't even bother to call ambulance. He just keep asking is my wife OK? Obviously is not ok. He just trying to brush her off. Until I have to request to see doctor and he advise us to go see doctor ourself and claim back from the store. When we asked him how about the glasses, he just ignore it until we insist that the shirt need to change as the glasses is all over her clothes then he said will talk to the drink store to get permision to claim back from them. We are so disappointed on how he handle the whole thing.
How Takashimaya handle the situation was terrible. They passed the responsibility to the drink store owner and the drink store owner from Bai Cao Wei aka YiKoWei Pte Ltdname Elaine Koh,Amos Chow, Ming Shan Koh. Do not want to pay any compensation and pay any responsibility of what they did to my wife.
We contacted Japan TAKASHIMA named C. Kaneko. He is also another person who don't care at all. We call the Takashimaya line the manager Chris hear my voice straight away put down the call and block my number. This is horrible experience with TAKASHIMA. Such big cooperation but the way they handle incident is the truely unacceptable.
Never get yourself injured in this store as they will not be responsible for thier action.
We have to report to police and take legal action against them.
