As Samsun is not a known Westeners tourist destination checking in was a challenge as english is very very limited but in true Turkish tradition and a phone call to interpreter with cool drink offered while every thing was sorted. From there everything was very good from the room which we had the suite which to our surprise had a extremely large balcony, room was large clean and modern with good wifi and mini bar.Staff were very helpful especially the laundry and kitchen staff they were sweet, nothing seamed to be a problem they even walked us to a restaurant that we had been looking for. Location was right in the centre of the city near the central square with markets and restaurants and short stroll to the board walk.||Bathroom was big with walk in shower and great water pressure. Had a look at the gym but didn't use had every thing you needed if you are that way inclined we walked every where so got a lot of exercise that way. Breakfast was good not excellent and don't be shy to ask for an omelet or something different. Met the owner who is a lovely guy and down to earth and yes we would stay here again.
