Yim Yim Restaurant (2nd Floor Only) offers a delightful journey into classic, traditional Chinese cuisine. This established restaurant boasts an extensive menu filled with familiar and comforting dishes. A standout for me was the excellent Chinese sashimi – the white fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. While most of the meal was enjoyable, the orh suan (oyster omelet) was unfortunately a bit too dry for my liking. On the positive side, the service was very attentive throughout the meal. If you're looking for a taste of authentic, old-school Chinese food, Yim Yim is definitely worth a visit.

Yim means Smile in Thai! Anyway, it definitely put on a great smile after i visited this place. The suckling pig is just sooooo good!! The sashimi comes with their special dipping sauce, and blew our mind away! We also ordered fish maw soup which they had some Chinese ham as one of their ingredients. Don’t forget to add the vinegar into your fish maw soup. It will level up the soup. All the dishes were good! Not a regular tourist spot, but I made a reservation nevertheless. Suckling pig is 2,200 baht. Not recommended if your group is only 2-3 pax. Order few different dishes to try as the cooking is good! We went in a group of 6…

Literally me and my friend were alone, nobody else here. The meal was stale, the meat felt like it was old and reheated, very little flavor. The only good thing were the dumplings. Did they even finish the meal

Old school Teochew restaurant. On pricey side for sure but super nice and fresh food. Went back twice. The yam paste is sedap. The best I ever had. The oyster omelette so yummy with fresh ingredients which why it can demand this pricing. Crab roll is so nice and tasty. Can see real crab meat.

We enjoyed the food here very much especially the suckling pig and sashimi. The suckling pig was returned for them to fry salt and pepper style, so delicious we finished the entire thing. Will return again to try the crispy pork intestines and steamboat. The service is very good as well.

The last time I came here was like 20 years ago with my wife before we had kids :) recently googled and realised they’re still there. In fact they’ve been here for 121 years! And this time round the food was even better than I remembered! The duck web noodle was so simple yet so good! The duck web was fall off the bone soft. The Sashimi was light and good. Wrap with the vegetable and the sauce it’s just perfect! And the star of the whole dinner was actually the simplest dish, their stir fried flat noodle. It’s got so much “Wok Hey” and flavour!

One of the oldest Chinese restaurant in China town. In my opinion, this is the most delicious one. Steamed pomfret with salted beans with slice pork fatis so good, and difficult to find in other restaurant. Deep fried sweet and sour pomfret also very old style. They put some yam in the sauce to add some crispiness. This dish also very hard to find in other restaurant. Beside these 2 pomfret dishes, their Chinese sashimi, Shumai, fried noodle(E Mee) are very good. The price is ok not so expensive, but well worth it. Must try.

The food was good. Big portion. It’s really traditional chinese restaurant. Decoration is simple chinese house. The white fish hotpot was good. The pork was good too. It’s good choice if you cant eat spicy food or just wanna try others food not Thai.
