As a Thai person the food here didn’t taste authentic Thai, but I would say…Okay. Good atmosphere and service.

Nice atmosphere and great service. The food was good but not exceptional. For example the red Thai curry is a staple that should be excellent at this price point. It had some chicken and bamboo shoots but no other vegetables and lacked flavour. The other dish we had was a noodle dish which basically tasted of soy sauce and not much else. Too expensive for what it is.

Yin Yang Restaurant is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Kathmandu. The food was 10/10, and the outdoor seating area was very peaceful. The vibe here is calm and relaxing. A nice break in the busy area of Thamel.

Went back to this place after maybe 10yrs and its still good and well maintained. One of the best Thai eateries in Kathmandu. They have a range of Thai food and we liked them all. Started with the snack platter and then we ordered what we loved the most from the platter. A good place for a family gathering, quite meet.

Good food, good service, and a good atmosphere. One of the best spot for Thai food in Kathmandu. Shout-out to the staff who were very attentive and responsive whole time. I didn't like dessert there, but the rest of the food was very tasty. Highly recommended. Tom Yum Soup, and Pad Thai noodles especially was top notch.

The vibe of the place was really nice but the Pad Thai was a huge disappointment, especially for the high price. The dried shrimp had a strong, unpleasant smell and the dish overall was dry. It lacked flavor and felt like a poorly thrown-together meal.

We had a selection of dishes which were exquisite! The coconut ice cream was delicious too, best I’ve ever had!

If you’re searching for ‘authentic Thai restaurant’ in Kathmandu, Yin Yang should be your first stop. The Pad Kra Pao was very yummy, and the staffs were warm and welcoming. Must visit!!
