Right in the heart of the action. A stone's throw from brassac Lane and walkable to the river and markets, bars and sites. On site restaurant, second hand store, library and recycling make this much more than just a place to stay. We stayed in the family room as we wanted the cooking space (we never used it as ate out throughout but it was all functioning and and spacious). Would definitely recommend

i've stayed here several times over the last few years and it's one of the best value options in the city. the location is super central, a quick walk to bassac and more, but tucked away on a quiet alley. there is a cute courtyard and library area, and a decent vegan restaurant on the premises. the staff are friendly and helpful enough, and the rooms are comfortable (especially the beds!) although some of them could really use a refurb. i prefer the garden view, although the other rooms give more privacy if you're concerned about that. overall, a great deal at just over $20 per night for a double room!

Beautiful vegan food. A quiet oasis in the middle of the bustling alleyways of Phnom Penh. Meals are abundant, tasty and I came here multiple times during 2 trips to the city

We booked this hotel primarily due to location, but was disappointed as soon as reached the hotel and saw the so called reception and receptionist, no electric kettle in room or any bare amenities, we could have booked Ibis hotel, which is a International Accor group, at lower rate then this!

The accommodation had significant noise issues and was only reachable by Tuk Tuk or motorbike.Unfortunately, the receptionist was consistently unhelpful, denying all of my requests. If you have a fear of geckos, be aware that their noise can also be heard in the room. Overall, the stay was quite disappointing.

3-star is an understatement: may not be glamorous, but clean, cozy, and rooms (and apartments) are nice. And staff are very friendly!

The YK Art House has so much personality and flair. It is more than a hotel - it has a secondhand clothing shop, a lending library of books, and a vegetarian restaurant set in an internal courtyard, with a pool and tropical oasis. It is also very central - a short walk to the western Aeon Mall, and near Bassak Lane, the great strip of bars and restos, alive during nightlife. The service is very attentive - they refill waterbottles, wash laundry, clean regularly, offer discounts at the resto, and answer questions about the city. I'd stay here again, and I'd recommend for others to stay.

We had a great stay at YK Art House. The guest house is in a quieter area about 30min walk from the central palace area of PP. There is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant downstairs, a big book library and a weekly Ukelele circle. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean if a little small! Our room was the largest room we’ve had within our budget in SEA, linen and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. Only thing that could be improved would be the staff and check in process, it went smoothly but was short and didn’t cover some key points like when the outer gates would be locked by the night guard… we quickly worked this out and it wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know to avoid a little panic when we came back at 10pm to a locked gate.
