Yo-Ho-Hostel

Lovely hostel! Stefano at the desk had some really interesting info to share, and all the staff were very helpful. Really adored the nautical theme. Only note is that the shower and toilet are in the same cubicle (I had this in other places in Bulgaria as well) not a downside, just notable.

My first experience in hostel ,dont really know what i was expecting 🙈,staff friendly and helpful,after checked out i was able to leave my luggage by reception for free . Its ok for couple nights ,because there is a very little comfort. Bank beds hard to get up on top bed ,even harder to get down .Showers and toilets are anti hygienic ,stinking with urine and slow water dranage. For couple nights is very ok and have shower on the beach .

Stay if you god headphone with noise cancellation. They host non travellers on low seasons, and there was a drunk man that didnt really want to stay there, I noticed he tried to move but wasnt allowed and such. I didnt feel comfortable because this drunk guy tried to have a conversation eventho we got language barrier, and kept offering a handshake. I told the reception if there would be a possibility of changing room temporarily, but he didnt leave me a solution. Had it not be happened OR even if this guy that snores is a mere traveller, i wouldnt mind. Also there were often poop unflushed in the toilet, probably clogged, which i dont mind. I only mind my safety towards the fellow imma sleep with.

The location is unbeatable: you stay right beside Church of the Mother of God (the main church) and around 10 minutes away from the beach (if you walk). The staff were lovely and friendly. Only downside was the shower/toilet combo (i think is kinda nasty)… other than that is a super place to stay!

If you’re with a low budget it’s the perfect place ,it’s near to the center and you can find cheap restaurants on the front! The staff it’s really nice and they will you tell you everything you need to visit in Varna,places for eat,to have funny etc.. The aesthetic its really funny but if you want a hostel for meet different persons this is the perfect place!

Dirty place ,without tourism informations,no place for washing clothes ,must to have patience !!!!!

The staff is very friendly. The hostel has a practical kitchen with enough tools and the common area is nice to meet people (tables, sofa, board games, balcony). The location is also practical and enjoyable. Near public transport and a busy area. The building is old and has a big charm. But unfortunately the room needed more care and maintenance. The window barely closed. A lot of spiders. The mattress wasn't clean at all and the bed sheets were clean but barely fit the bed. The common areas were okay.

This place is disgusting. The floors and the furniture are sticky. The floor is full of dirt. The beds are making noises. We found bugs under the bed. There is no separated showers, it is built together with the toilet, where even one person can barely fit. The kitchen is sticky from dirt and old food super unorganized.They charged us 50 €.Everything was dirty and stinky. The rooms were extremely small and the building was in extremely bad condition. There was no AC in the rooms. Very bad experience whatsoever. I do not recommend this place. As well as impolite. Most of the rooms accommodated long term residents many of them are alcoholics. Think twice before you book it.
