Yoga on the Vine - Martha's Vineyard

After many years away from hot yoga, coming back to it at Yoga On The Vine has been amazing. The space is clean and welcoming. The instructors are knowledgeable and bring great energy to every class. Happy to be back!

Have summered on the Vineyard for nearly 15 years and 10 of them I've had the absolute privilege to know Lora + practice at Yoga on the Vine. I've practiced yoga for over 20 years; taught yoga for 10 of them now. This background is important because it speaks to the historical elements + quality vibe at YOTV. In addition, the professional abilities + overall expertise seem to flow with very little effort. More specifically, Lora has such a way of engaging you in your practice that meets you where you are but also pushes you to understand (+ ultimately accept) all components of your being: body, mind, spirit. While attending her classes, you'll hear her speak flawlessly, genuinely + eloquently about proper muscle engagement; her understanding of human anatomy is simply unmatched. She layers in thought provoking elements that are both relatable + practical but also flex your spiritual muscle- the most important one if you ask me. The soulful experience is not limited to a class here and there. Her careful selection of instructors provide a very similar experience in their own unique ways. You simply cannot go wrong with practicing here - you'll sweat, you'll feel + you'll leave only to come back again.

I’ve been practicing at Yoga on the Vine for over 7 years, and it continues to be one of the most inspiring places I know. The studio offers a beautiful balance — it’s both challenging and encouraging — and has become a true source of connection and community for me. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive. With a varied schedule and a range of class types, there’s truly something for everyone, whether you're just starting out or deepening a long-time practice. Yoga on the Vine is a gem in Edgartown, and I feel so grateful to be a part of this vibrant community!

Let me say that first up, I am new to yoga. But practicing at Yoga On The Vine in Edgartown has been an absolute gift that I decided to give myself. From the moment you step inside, the studio feels welcoming, serene - creating the perfect space to move, breathe, and reset. One of the things I love most is the ease of booking classes. Their online scheduling system is seamless, making it so simple to reserve a spot—whether you’re planning ahead or looking for a last-minute session. The variety of classes is also impressive, offering everything from gentle flows and restorative yoga to more challenging vinyasa and strength-based practices - I'm still working my way up to these classes, ha! The instructors are phenomenal—each bringing their own unique energy, expertise, and encouragement. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just beginning like me, they really make the practice accessible, inclusive, and deeply rewarding. I feel very comfortable modifying and adjusting as needed. Beyond the practice itself, the studio is clean, thoughtfully maintained, and infused with an inviting atmosphere. It’s clear that Yoga On The Vine is dedicated to building a true community—one that supports not just physical movement, but overall well-being. If you're looking for a high-quality, approachable yoga studio on Martha’s Vineyard, I highly recommend checking them out. There are not enough great things I can say about Yoga on the Vine and their instructors that would match up to the experience. I took Lisa's class last night, and I genuinely am cancelling dinner plan's tonight so I can go again today, while she is still visiting. Shannon's classes are amazing, and the most wholesome yoga experience you will have. Sian is amazing and so is Winonah. I have loved exploring all the different instructors.

Yoga on the Vine is a wonderful studio to practice heated yoga. Lora is a truly gifted yogi who teaches with mindfulness and a calming sense of serenity, but trust me, you will sweat more than you ever have in a class! The studio is clean, and the community is welcoming. As a daily practitioner and yoga teacher, I always leave class having learned something new! Craig is wonderful too! I highly recommend!!!

Yoga on the vine is a great studio! Instructors are so nice and welcoming. The studio is clean and has great natural light. They have mats, blocks, and blankets, so if you are traveling and forget to bring something they are able to provide it. Most of their classes are vinyasa which I love. They can be challenging but nothing outrageous. The schedule is a bit limited though. Pretty much only a few morning classes a day. And the studio is very small. If you are intimidated by hot classes I think this would be a good place to start because while it is hot they have a fan which provides some breeze. Definitely go check it out!

THE BEST yoga studio and yoga teaching school. Hands down, no contest!! The caliber of instruction and underlying value set of this studio is the best I have ever encountered. As a student and yoga therapist, I can't recommend Yoga on the Vine enough!
