This place is amazing , the overall experience was incredible. I was so sad to leave the place as everything was just so perfect. The location was very central and easy to get to anywhere you want. The house itself very clean and Rosa was always keeping the house spotless and went above and beyond everyday to keep the place tidy and clean. The yoga teachers are also great and tailor made the yoga sessions according to my needs and every teacher was unique. A special thank you to Monica and Coni. I practiced most of the yoga sessions at the rooftop in the morning and evenings and it was just magical , very healing and relaxing.

Barcelona, and especially the ramblas, can be quite rough. It’s one part of this beautiful urban jungle. But now I have my shelter over there. Yoga weeks offers comfortable rooms in a beautiful building. There are two yoga classes per day with talented teachers, a brunch, a beautiful terrace for the evening yoga, a very friendly staff, and a variety of services. My first time was in August 2025 and I returned in late November. Thank you Yoga Weeks, I’ll be back 😊🙏

My experience with Yoga Weeks was just fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone! I had a 3 days yoga retreat and everything went beyond my expectations: I found the yoga lessons perfect (style/pace) with great instructors that really care about you, help adjusting the poses and give you tips on how to improve! Morning lessons are followed by a nice brunch including fresh salad & bread, eggs, hummus, coffee and juices. In addition to this, fresh fruits, coffee and water are available anytime. The room was very clean and tidy and the house itself made me feel at home. I also booked a full body massage with Penelope, probably the best I've ever had. But what I won't forget is how much I felt welcomed, it was like being in a small family. Thanks for everything, Ana and Johra!

Exceeded every expectation I had and I hope to be back next year! Johra was super helpful from start to finish. I got to experience a different yoga teaching style each session, the perfect balance. I loved the idea of a sunrise session, brunch and sunset session while being left to your own devices for the rest of the day! I got to explore Barcelona solo (this was my first ever solo trip). I was initially slightly terrified going solo, however this whole experience has reminded me that I have all the internal resources I need. Thank you to both Ana’s, Johra and all of the lovely guests! What a dreamy retreat xxx

I did the 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Weeks in Barcelona in summer 2025, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The teachers, the staff, the yoga house, the yoga shala, the daily yoga classes on the rooftop, the wonderful group of fellow students, the city… I loved everything about it and couldn’t have asked for a better YTT. I can highly recommend Yoga Weeks — both for the teacher training and for the urban retreat and rooftop classes. ❤️

I recently stayed at the Urban Yoga Retreat and had a wonderful experience. Here are some highlights: - *Convenient location*: The retreat is easily accessible from the airport via a shuttle service (€9 one way, bought online). From the bus stop, it's just a 7-minute walk. - *Centrally located*: The retreat's location is fantastic, with all major sightseeing spots within easy reach. - *Beautiful villa*: The villa itself is stunning, and I enjoyed my single private room, which came with a yoga mat and towel. The fresh bedding and comfortable bed made for a great stay. - *Delicious brunch*: The brunch was very tasty, and I appreciated the 24-hour availability of fruits, non-dairy milk, tea, and coffee. - *Amenities*: The fridge was available for storing personal items, which was a nice touch. - *Yoga classes*: The yoga classes were excellent, with instructors providing clear explanations and guidance. Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Urban Yoga Retreat. The combination of a beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and great yoga classes made for a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE – HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUES & UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT Update- 3 weeks later and still no reply from the retreat owner and no refund! I booked a 7-night stay with Yoga Weeks in Barcelona through BookRetreats.com but cancelled my booking immediately upon arrival due to unacceptable hygiene conditions and significant discrepancies between the property and its online description. HEALTH & SAFETY CONCERNS: • The accommodation was in poor condition, both in terms of hygiene and in its accuracy compared to the listing on the website. Immediately upon using the bathroom, I encountered a huge cockroach in the shower tray, which raises serious hygiene and health concerns for guests. • When I reported this to the cleaner, she acknowledged it was a known issue due to warm pipes. Another staff member further confirmed that despite attempts to disinfect, the infestation persists. This seemed to be a recurring known problem. • In addition, the overall condition of the accommodation (interior, fixtures and furnishings) showed clear signs of neglect: shabby, worn, and poorly maintained. A stark contrast to the clean and inviting environment depicted in the listing. The room I was assigned lacked basic furnishings such as a chair or stool to place my belongings. When I asked the cleaner for one, she directed me to the garden where a couple of damaged red plastic wire chairs were available. The property was clearly misrepresented and did not align with the online advertised standards. UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT • Despite raising the issue immediately with Yoga Weeks (and BookRetreats.com) and asked for a full refund, the owner of Yoga Weeks remained unresponsive for 12 days before ultimately declining to authorise a refund, despite earlier indications to the contrary. • This lack of communication is sadly consistent with my overall experience with Yoga Weeks in Barcelona. • This lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to resolve the matter demonstrated a clear absence of professionalism and accountability. OUTCOME • The whole experience was extremely stressful and disappointing and completely contrary to the purpose of a retreat. • The issues encountered prevented me from staying at the property. I was forced to secure alternative accommodation and shorten my trip because of the additional expense. RECOMMENDATION • Fellow travelers should exercise caution when booking Yoga Weeks in Barcelona. • Based on my experience, the accommodation does not meet advertised standards, and support from both Yoga Weeks in Barcelona and BookRetreats.com was inadequate. • It is advisable not to pay in advance and to inspect the Yoga Weeks accommodation in person before committing. • There are many alternative accommodation options in Barcelona that offer better hygiene, maintenance, and value for money, while yoga classes can be easily arranged separately.

I really enjoyed my time at Yoga Weeks! The house is clean and perfectly located in Barcelona, close to every attraction of the city. What makes the difference is the quality of each yoga teacher. I enjoyed every classes as they are all different and valuable. Thank you again to all the member of the team and I wish I could come back to learn even more about and still be discovering the city. 🙏

Yelp
This urban Yoga retreat was MAGICAL! I loved every practice! Every session helped me release what my mind and body no longer needed. I felt grounded and balanced after each session. I enjoyed the dynamic and engaging conversations during brunch. Although I'm not a vegetarian, I really enjoyed each meal. I also enjoyed how open the environment was and how it led to creating friendships with other participants from diverse parts of the world. They communicate with you constantly to ensure that your check-in is smooth. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. This is the only reason this retreat does not get five stars. However, the staff is extremely accommodating and is constantly working on trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If I have the chance to participate again, I will return to Barcelona and once more attend this magical retreat. I highly recommend it!
