I was skeptical at first because of the price, but it was very well worth it! The kids activities were entertaining, and their was something going on at all times. We did the Halloween 2 weekend and the magic seed event was a hit. The camp site (170) had the most gorgeous view over Firedance Pond. The bathrooms were one of the cleanest we have ever seen at a campground, and stayed 72 degrees (it was great for the cold nights). Also, the staff was absolutely amazing. I only remember Bubbles name (sorry) from the dance party, but every staff member went out of their way to make our experience amazing. I felt safe to let my kids ride their bikes around because everyone was being cautious of their speed in cars and golf carts. My kids are begging to go back, so I'm sure we will be back to check out another weekend event!

This was a fun cabin experience. My other family members stayed in a separate glamping tent. Their tent was suitable for a family of four. Our cabin was good, pretty well stocked and the queen bed was not comfortable but adequate. Was very nice to come in to an air conditioned cabin and tent. And very nice to be able to cook and even bake in an oven. Cabin was clean. So was the bathroom. Quite adequate. Really nice place for family to gather and relax together. Pool area was good. Laser tag available and good time. Overall, would recommend.

Amazing experience! We came for the Halloween themed weekend and it was great! It was not scary and very appropriate for kids. They had a dance party that was incredible and the songs were very clean and appropriate! We will definitely come back every year!

This was our 4th stay. This was our first time in a new boo boo cabin and it is now our favorite. There are so many scheduled activities and most are included in the price of stay. Even in the cooler months, when pool isnt opened, there are enough amenities to enjoy when there isnt a scheduled activity. The staff is AMAZING, owners are AMAZING which makes the other guests AMAZING. Cant wait to be back in 2026!

This is not a sensory friendly camp site. neuro spicy friends will most likely want to avoid this site!! The waterfall is super loud and there is no shade provided at the pool (the structure they have set up is a joke to call it shade). There are no tables at the pool. there are a lot of fun activities provided but some would say there are TOO many activities which makes this place loud and crowded. it was not a relaxing weekend with friends and everything is SO spread out that it was not enjoyable. The roads are just rocks and it's very difficult for kids to bike and scooter on which was a HUGE bummer for us, and there were lots of hills so even when the kids attempted bike riding they had such trouble with all the hills. the playground is so far away which almost forces you to rent a golf cart (don't get me wrong, golf carts are cool) and you have to rent the cart for at least 2 days which is annoying when you're there for 1 full day and then checking out at 11 the next day. the slide at the pool was fun for the kids and the cabins were clean and very nice. and while the screen porch is nice, there was no where to hang our wet pool towels and bathing suits (hanging them inside on the hooks does nothing to dry them). There was not even a sponge and dish towel provided to wash and dry the dishes which was very odd, maybe add those in? and a dish drain of sorts if you want guests to wash the dishes.

We spent an enjoyable long weekend at Jellystone Park. They had Halloween activities for the kids all weekend long. Everyone was friendly, the park was clean, and lots of fun things for all of us. There were some so many RV’s decorated for Halloween, and lots of Trick or Treaters. We will definitely plan another trip.

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our granddaughter’s 6th birthday. Both she and our 3 year old granddaughter had a wonderful time participating in the non stop kid centered activities. Our entire family enjoyed the trip and will be back for a summer time visit!

We stayed here for Mother's Day weekend with our 6yr old and 3yr old sons. We had a really great time. The campground and facilities were clean, the store had what we needed, and the activities were well thought out and fun. The staff was absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were all having fun. My kids really loved the bears and the bears were so patient taking a million pictures and giving all of the high fives. We will definitely be coming back to visit again!

Yelp
This Yogi Bear Campground Was clean the Brand New Portion of the campground was Very Clean, Trails weren't made for Moutain Bikes but I Still went and rode on them they were, very ragged and Hilly there were lots of Mud holes on the current trails and when I Tried to Find my way back to the Campground there was no Trail Signs that said "RV Campground" so Finding my way back was Rough. Eventually, I found my way Back to our campsite. Although the Staff was very sociable in the Ranger Station. The Pool only Opens on May 3rd through the summer months; Also there is No Hottub. The Dog Park was clean and there was a Bench inside the Dog Park Area shaded by the little pine trees. The RV Camping Density was semi-close to the other camping spots. The Wifi is good But I Just Stuck to 5G Cell Wifi although there is an additional Wi-Fi routers for certain Sections of the park. Thanks for Reading! I would definitely come back!

Yelp
This is the place for families! All the amenities are included in your campground fees. Yes, if you don't have kids to use all the amenities, it may seem a little pricey. The grounds are well-maintained and very clean. The space I was in was very roomy. Once I got the wifi to connect it was pretty stable. The downside - the roads are all gravel and dirt so things are dusty. Also, the dog park was a trek in itself but nice-sized and also well-maintained. It would be nice if they built another park at the other end of the park.

Yelp
As we go to yogi bear jelly stone often throughout NC, I will say the front staff here is beyond rude my husband went to the ranger station asking for advice on where to find a tire locally for our golf cart as we are not from here and both ladies working the front at the ranger station began to talk about my husband as he walked out not realizing I'm his wife standing right there waiting in line to pay for something. I find it very rude as you work in a family friendly place and needless to say when my husband came up for advice they also were rude as if he was a burden. Learn some customer service. How sad.

Yelp
this is the 3rd and best Jellystone park we've been at, beautiful facilities and personnel, great place for families and amazing nature and surroundings

Yelp
I have stayed up and down the country in Jellystone campgrounds many times. Some have been really bad, and others were great. I think this one is one of the best we have stayed at. The activities were great for the kids. We pulled in for a quick overnight stay while traveling and it was a great place to stop. We pull a 44' fifth wheel, and had absolutely no issues getting in and out. This campground is very big rig friendly which is hard to find sometimes. The bath houses were very nice (seemed to be newly remodeled) and clean too. I would absolutely book this campground again. We live about 8 hours away, but I will definitely stay here again when we're driving through the area.

Yelp
The entire campground is gravel, well actually just dirt where gravel should be. There was so much dust and dirt we couldn't even drive through with windows down. We tried to get a golf cart after checking in and was told there weren't any available. There were plenty of golf carts where they park them.Every day we rode by. We checked multiple times to see if any became available and was still told no. When we booked our site we were told they only had 1 site left. There were multiple sites open through out the campground. Either this was the result of poor management or we were just being lied to, maybe both.

Yelp
This place is excellent! the camp counselors go above and beyond! yogis dance party was fantastic! Adley and Alec were so entertaining and went above and beyond to make the experience amazing!

Yelp
This is a nice place ! Wifi is great for streaming ! No cable but you get a lot of channels by air. There is a couple of things to improve. One is the playground. We had our two year old grandson with us and the playground was very lame. No slides ! Just a couple swings and a seesaw! Also to put in more doggie comfort stations ! Very dusty roads. But can't help that

Yelp
This place was probably one of the best places to go camping with the family...why not 5 stars then? I'll explain why...its still being built!!! I cannot wait to see the finished product! The pool was perfect, loved the lights at night and the kids had a blast with the slide. The laser tag park when that gets up and running will be epic. The sandbags, mortars, bombs, takes me back. The cabins...awesome. you just need to have your food, clothes and drinks...amenities are included. They even have dog bowls for the pet. The kids had an a solute blast in the loft area to sleep. Wish we had a TV in the main bedroom, they have a hookup and all so I'm assuming that's coming. The ponds are cool but we weren't able to catch anything. Kids had fun so its cool. I am definitely coming back and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Great experience. The pool and other amenities were nice. The only complaints I have are: 1. We waited over an hour for laser tag to start. They're very unorganized. We never got to play because it got too late and we had to put the younger kids to sleep. 2. During "boulderdash", one of the "employees", who was actually just a young tween/teen, got too rough. At one point he snatched one of the "boulders" away from me and swung it at my young child extremely aggressively. It knocked my child so hard, that their nose started bleeding. My child flew backwards, hit into another child, and they spent the next 30 minutes in tears. I'd appreciate if the owners would have a chat with the younger "employees/helpers". Maybe have them be a little less rough when playing the kids. Other than that, it was clean, quiet, fun and safe! Loved all of the extra activities they had planned. But after "boulderdash" and laser tag, we kind of gave up on trying to attend any scheduled actives.

Yelp
Great campground to take the kids. A lot of play areas and trails for you to enjoy. It's fun to ride our bikes as a family around the 100 acres. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend going.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here and it was amazing. The cabin was super adorable and super clean. Due to Covid, I was prepared to clean up myself but no need because it was immaculate. The grounds were clean as well. For camping, I was pleasantly surprised at all of the activities provided like the playground, jump pillow, and the pool (all well maintained). My family and I also enjoyed the hiking trails which are all over the camp grounds. We will definitely be back and I recommend as a great experience!

Yelp
This is a fairly new 100 plus acre RV campsite with lots of wonderful things planned such as; pool, quad site, premium water view sites, bath house, frisbee golf, and much more. Currently there are 16 full hook up sites that are very level and roomy and a plan for over 100 more in the by 2017-2018. At this time there is no cable tv but plenty of antenna tv choices however they do have wifi. The staff could not be any friendlier or helpful. We are first time RV's and they were there during our first set up to answer any questions we might have. The Ranger's house is under construction but that doesn't stop them from having many activities take place. The children seem to love it here and there is no lack of things for them to do. The evening hayride seems to be a favorite as Yogi Bear himself goes with them for a tour and singing. The adults love it here too and many have multiple visits logged already. They have a large pond for catch and release and also canoe rentals. There also is a golf cart trail which is still under construction. We already have a return visit planned.

Yelp
Poor lighting, I sprained my foot in a whole because it's not cleared properly. The kids got hurt on a slide, cut them well enough to bleed. Not enough restrooms. Looks like they'll be good if they fix a few things.

Keith B.

Yelp
Very nice, quite campground. The property is large but definitely not overcrowded at all. That may change in the future with the planned additions, but it was very peaceful while we were here. I do wish the fishing pond was a little more stocked as catching fish were few and far between. My kids loved it and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay this weekend! We rented one of their pet friendly Yogi Cabins and it was really nice. This is a new and expanding campground that you can tell they have really put in a lot of time, thought and sweat equity into. The pool was fantastic. It has a water slide that is fast- all the squeals and laughter coming out of it. Love the waterfall, especially at night-you have to see it to believe it. Our family enjoyed the Hey ride, outdoor checkers/chess, playground, jumping pillow, hiking trails, s'mores with the outdoor movie! Pros: Staff was very friendly. Yogi Cabin was clean, mattresses for beds were comfortable, air conditioners worked great. Pic-A-Nic table at the cabin was set up outside aligned with the outdoor outlet. Lots of activities! Location is close to the NC Zoological Park. Cons: We never did get the cable/internet to work at the cabin, but they assured us they would investigate the problem. Futon mattress not comfortable for adults. Price seemed high for the cabin; especially the penalty fees for not sweeping/ doing the dishes before leaving. (We did all the requested pickup/leaving the cabin chores). Bottom line: We would definitely stay there again. Had a great time! September you can earn double points with your Club Yogi Rewards Membership- it is a free membership.

Yelp
We were frequent campers at the Larkspur Jellystone in Colorado and have also visited the Jellystone in Millbrook, IL. We had such amazing trips to these locations that I was thrilled when I heard a Jellystone was opening in Asheboro less than an hour from where we live. This Jellystone was an incredible disappointment. Although we booked knowing it was not completely finished it is much more primitive than we were lead to believe. It is co- owned by 2 families with 4 children each. These children were incredibly rude and disrespectful to my family during the trip. During the morning " win a bagel" after all the site numbers were drawn, they offered the rest of the bagels to the campers that didn't "win." However, the breakfast basket was immediately swarmed with the owners children who left a few bagels but took all the muffins. My 2 yr. old ended up with an onion bagel and one late comer would not have gotten anything if my brother in law hadn't noticed his disappointment and given him his bagel. The games and activities cannot even be compared to that of the other Jellystone's we visited and I may have been more understanding if these same children hadn't been put in charge of the games and insisted on going first at everything and excluding the other campers. The owner Jane, has a 14 yr old son who actually yelled at my 7 yr old niece for looking into a pumpkin that contained the candy prizes. When I spoke to Jane about our issues she was very passive, saying she has only ever heard great things about her children and how inclusive they are of others. She actually brought her son in and asked him to apologize but instead he stood there in front of his mother and said "well how did I know she wasn't going to steal the candy." I was so shocked and appalled and so in order to keep myself from saying anything inappropriate I walked away. He did come after me and whispered a begrudging apologize to which I just responded, no apology necessary. I will say I was even more astounded that Jane, knowing our conversation had been interrupted by her child and that I was a very dissatisfied camper, never made an attempt to resolve the issue or approach me at ALL! What kind of business owner knowingly provides customer service like that!?! I am exceedingly disappointed in Asheboro Jellystone and it's owners. It's really a shame for the other Jellystone parks that this campground shares their name. I so regret my choice to bring my family here for a fun Halloween only to be excluded and treated poorly by Jane and the other owners children.
