Yogis Guest House

We had booked the stay for 3 days. It's located just walking distance from the Ghanta Ghar within the narrow streets of Jodhpur. The guest house was nice and peaceful, with lovely interiors giving an old haveli charm. There were some maintenance and upkeep issues during our stay, which were brought to Ms. Shruti's attention. The room was nice and cosy, and the AC kept us cool in the heat. There was a balcony too, in case you need to sit out, but not much of a view. The restaurant is on the rooftop, which serves decent food and has a good view of the Mehrangarh fort. Breakfast isn't included in the package, but can be paid for a la carte. You might need to get your own water bottles and coffee/tea sachets as needed, since those aren't provided. Location-wise, the stay is well located, in that there's nice cafes around, good shopping in the area, since most of the local stuff can be bought in and around Ghanta Ghar. If you're not used to crowded streets and noisy 2/3 wheelers, you might have a tough time navigating the streets. And I also recommend using Uber for your local trips since the local autos usually ask for 2-3 times the actual price.

The guesthouse is a lovely property with lot of greenery in the courtyard and lovely architecture plus good view of the fort. Owner is nice. They helped with my luggage as I had a back issue and couldn't lift the backpack. Some of the utilities like switchboard need better maintenance.

When we arrived it was not very inviting. We had to dodge the dog mess to get in the gate. Check in was quick once we figured out where to enter. Once we got to the room we soon realised there was no tv as in the photos and the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. We went to the cafe on the rooftop for a drink. The coffee was 140rs tge was double the price of the dearest coffee we have had in all our travels around India and to top it of it was so awful that I didn’t even drink it. We decided there and then to look for somewhere else to stay. It was a shame because the room was lovely although not clean. The bathroom was nice but due to lack of good flow you couldn’t have a hot shower (bucket was available). Noise from the street, dogs baking and the hundreds of pigeons that sit above the windows made for a very broken sleep. We stayed the second night as they refused to reimburse us even though one member of staff said it was ok. We couldn’t wait to leave. The room compared with other properties is definitely overpriced

What makes it even better is that this beautiful heritage stay is available at a very low and affordable price, which is rare in Jodhpur. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and full of old-world charm. The property owner is extremely kind, humble, and supportive. She guided us very well about local places, food, and travel tips, and made us feel more like family than guests. Her warmth and care made our stay even more special. A peaceful and clean guest house in a central location, only a short distance from the fort, clock tower and blue city streets. The building is beautifully decorated and the roof terrace has a great panoramic view. What made my stay especially memorable was the excellent hospitality from Shruti who was helpful and answered any questions I had. Overall a great place to stay in Jodhpur.

We booked this haveli for two days and had a wonderful experience. Staying in a 350-year-old haveli itself felt like living history. The property is beautifully maintained and full of old-world charm. The owner was extremely helpful, warm, and welcoming, which made our stay even more comfortable. If you’re looking for an authentic heritage stay with great hospitality, this place is highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at this place. The lady running the place is extremely warm and hospitable. The view from the rooftop is extremely beautiful. The Sardar Market, Toorji ka Jhaalra and all other places are very close to this place. I visited with my elderly parents and they loved it too. It has a charm of the city. I would definitely recommend this to others!
