Yolin Am Ice Field

Absolutely stunning geology. Captivating space. Listening to the animals squeal throught the canyon only to met by the steps of your boots. What an experience.

It is located quite far from the parking, so you can go by horse or walk. I thought there was ice, but it had melted. Great view! I had no idea that there is such a place with nature in Gobi.

Very good views and a nice walk to get to the end you can also buy some souvenirs and ride by horse if you'd like to. You have many opportunities to take great pictures. I recommend visiting this place.

Beautiful area in June 2022. Ice field was partially melted, horse back trek down in canyon was good. The arts and crafts gift area was awesome and thr staff were friendly. Must see location.

Very nice place. Unfortunately at the time of public holidays in Korea it was full of noisy tourists. I recommend finding a suitable term.

This is one of the special places in Umnugobi, Mongolia. If you visit there during the summer time, you feel both cool weather and beautiful wild nature.

Amazing views in the valley, though couldnt find the ice cap!

This incredible ice field has really felt the effects of climate change this year as there's no ice left. It's sad that has happened but this gorge is still a stunning place to visit at all times of the year while you're travelling through Mongolia. It's a great half way point on the way to the Gobi and if you stay at Nomad Homestay they are the closest came to the fields that remains authentic and private.
