We felt a little bamboozled. The self-proclaimed "Premier restaurant lounge" features excellent service paired with subpar food.
The ambience with soft lighting and tasteful decor created a nice atmosphere. However, while the service and setting are commendable, the food fell short of expectations.
The Burrata-Panzanella was watery and the lack of sufficient burrata and omission of olives made it fall short of expectation.
The Smoked Meatballs were disappointingly dry. The texture was crumbly, lacking the juicy tenderness that one expects from a well-cooked meatball. To add to our disappointment, the accompanying BBQ sauce was overwhelmingly salty. While a good BBQ sauce should enhance the flavor of the meat, this one seemed to mask the natural taste, making it difficult to appreciate the smoky notes that were intended.
Upon presentation, the Steak Tartare looked visually appealing. However, once I took my first bite, I was met with an overwhelming sense of blandness. The steak itself, while fresh and good quality, lacked the robust flavors that typically define a great tartare. The accompanying ingredients, such as harissa, spiced nuts, and feta, were present but didn't add much to the overall flavor profile.
Our main dishes were the Cherry Smoked Durac Pork. Nice presentation, good flavor; and the Churrasco with a side of mashed potatoes. This was also decent.
TLDR: The appetizers are garbage, the meat is fine.
